Photoshop Elements

Update: The problem has been solved.  Due to compatibility issues LR6 is configured to open files in PSE using a work around.Open C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2024\ Copy "PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe" to the desktop. Rename to "Photoshop Elements 2024" and copy back to  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2024Then configure Lightroom to open files in external editor, "Photoshop Elements 2024" .  Now LR 6 can edit files in PSE 2024 just fine.  The problem was that after PSE 2024 was updated I forgot to to repeat the above procedure.   _____________________________ Before the recent PS Elements 2024 update I was able to export an image from Lightroom 6 into PS Elements 2024 without any problems. Now after the update, the PSE file is made in LR but it will not automatically launch in PSE 2024. I receive 3 error messages in 3 separate windows:1- The code execution cannot proceed because opencv_imgcodec310.dl

When my display goes into sleep mode, PSE and all th photos I was working on drop to the bottom of the screen. I then have to drag everything up so I can see the tool bin. Very annoying.I am using PSE 24 on macOS 14.4.1 Any suggestions?

My 2019 Photoshop Elements no longer recognizes my Epson 3000 photo printer. It has always worked in the past. I can still print images directly from my Windows desktop, but it is not a satisfactory way to print out artwork or photos. Adobe tech support was of little help telling me to uninstall my printer and reinstall the software. I am not sure if I can find the CD the printer came with. I so need to get this fixed. The message I get is: "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check the printer settings before printint."I have tried everything to get this to work. Adobe couldn't get it to work either. The technician recommended uninstalling the printer software and reinstalling it. I am not sure this will work either. Any suggestions?

 After the 2024.2 update, whenever I go to the People view and click a person, Organizer hangs. When I click again "Adobe Elements 2024 Organizer not responding" This worked before the update.  

I just bought a Nikon Z8 and the Elements 2021 I have will not read the RAW files. The plugin 15.3 did not do the trick, so I'm wondering if Elements2023 would work with the new formats of Nikon Z

HiI'm hoping someone can help me.I haven't used Elements 9 for a good number of years.Now I've retired, I have more time to start to use my copy of Elements 9.I appreciate it's a really old version but I'd like to see if I can use it to post process raw images I've collected on a recent photography tour.Unfortunately, when I start the program up I encounter a pop up message saying I need Direct x in order to use Elements.Using the dxdiag run command, I can see that I have Direct Version 12 installed on my Windows 10 laptop.I can also see that successive Ms updates have placed lots of directx files in c:windows folders.Did anyone else encounter this issue and does anyone remember what the solution was? 

Hi,I recently found an old version of Elements 9 that I had forgotten about. Is it still possible to use and update that with High Sierra? It installed from the DVD and generally works (Organizer crashes though). However, the update process generally fails for Camera RAW and Elements and crashes after. Any idea? If it won't work, is there a way to upgrade it to the recent version or is it basically buying it from scratch?Last but not least, would I be able to make it work on a WIN10 machine or is it the same scenario there?Thanks,Peter

Hello,I purschased and installed Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements Dec 10, 2020They have been working fine until some weeks ago when I hade to uninstall them due to other issues with my laptopThose issues are now fixed but when I try to install Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements again after downloding the installation files it only runs until 2% and then stop even if it is hours there. Is it possible to save pictures in RAW into Jpeg but in batch? Now you can only save them one by one and sometimes that takes a lot of time. Thx

I suddenly experience, after the last update, that the clearly defined border (size set by px or slider) on the clone tool and some other tools as well, no longer is visible. Is there any way of getting this function back? 

I have relevant codecs and the videos play correctly on VLC player.  Have attached screenshot of media informationThanks in advance

Nach dem heutigen Update von Photoshop Elements 2024 kann ich den Elements Editor nicht mehr starten. Gestern konnte ich mit ohne den Update normal arbeiten.Es fehlt DLL. Habe Windows 10 Pro mit allen neuesten Updates

Hi, I've been using PSE 2022 (legitimate registered licence). It seems that a few times a year including in the last few days, I'm suddenly being asked to sign in to my adobe account. If I dismiss this popup, PSE seems to keep working fine. Why does this popup appear and how can I stop it. I have registed the licence and agreed to terms and conditions long ago.

I've used Elements 9 for 15 years and can't duplicate those basic functions in 2024.  Typically, I'd open several files at once then select items from one and copy them to another. Here's what I'm confused about:- in 9, I saw all my open files in the bin below... is there such an option in 2024?-when I select something and want to create a new file with it, the "New File from clipboard" doesn't do that. How do I do it?-When I select something and "copy" it, then move to another image to apply it, "paste" doesn't do anything.I've attempted to find answers in tutorials but have been discouraged by literally hours of dialog with nothing easily found about those issues.ANY help will be appreciated.  (Yeah, I've got a printed manual on order.)  

I recently purchased a new Windows 11 computer. I backed up the My Catalog file on the old computer to an external hard drive, installed PSE 2020 on the new machine along with my Pictures folder, which was also backed up on the external drive, and then did a restore. At that time I was unaware of the user name assigned to the computers. The old computer user was Joe, the new computer user is gill2. Within my Pictures folder, I now have a new folder named Users with "Joe" nested inside. Within that folder is a duplicate Pictures folder! PSE now points to the duplicate Pictures folder to upload and edit photos -> C:\Users\gill2\Pictures\Users\Joe\Pictures. Changes I make in one folder are NOT duplicated in the other.  How can I get Elements to use C:\Users\gill2\Pictures\?  -- Thanks in advance.

I installed Elements 2022 and tried to configure my email client to work with my Microsoft account.  Adobe Elements is unable to "validate" my account even though I am 100% sure of the email address and password I've entered.  I previously had Elements 2018 and didn't have any issues with the same email account.  I went back to my 2018 version and now can't email out of it either.  I've tried looking at all/any of the security settings for my email account but haven't been able to change anything from the Microsoft side that worked.  Any advice on what I can try next?  I really would like to be able to Share photos through email directly from Elements.

I'm using Luminar Neo both stand alone and as a plugin with PSE2023.Recently I've noticed that the PSE images are slightly cropped compared to the same image file displayed in Luminar Neo stand alone.Is this cropping a part of the way in which PSE is setup?

Hi.I switch from At + Shift + G, to Alt + Shift + K, really lot.Windows fr keyboard.How change these shortcuts ?It's two blending modes.I didn't find them in shortcuts manager.There are no search in shortcut manager...Have nice days.

Ich habe seit langem den Photshop Elemnts 9. Der ist auch immer wieder auf den neuen Rechnrn instaliert worden. Leider hat sich der eine und andere Rechner nach einem Festplatten- und einem Hardwarecrash nicht mehr reanimieren lassen und somit konnte ich logischerweise auch die Serienummer  bzw die Installation nicht merh deaktivieren. jetz sitze ich da und kann mein Elemntsnciht merh brauchen.... kann ich  den Support  anschreiben dass die Serinummer wieder fregeschalten wird oder habe ich jetz - einfach ausgedrückt - die Arschkarte gezogen?Und nein, ich will keine Cloud lösung, brauche ich auch nicht. Ich war und binn zufrieden mit dem Elements 9. Aberist halt schade wenn man eine origin Software hat und sie nciht mehr nutzen kann. merci und Gruss Dan
