Photoshop Elements

The object removal brush in Guided Edits was initially round.  But now it  is irregularly shaped, with zig-zag lines, like a rectangular amoeba.  How can I get the brush to be round again?  

Downloaded, installed, tried to open and it keeps asking for me to login, which I do and nothing happens. Gave up after 1 hour. I tied logging in first and still no good, uninstalled and downloaded again, same. Rubbish

Until today, Elements running kind of Ok on 2020 MacBook Air M1, 8gb RAm / Ventura. Always a bit tight for disk space but otehrwise OK. Today - with 4gb disk space free, it just plain won't open. I get an eddor box for a fraction of a second but it craps out faster than I can read it. Restart / trash prefs ineffective, What next?

We are actually using Adobe Elements 8.0 and we want to update to the latest Version. We are afraid that we loose informations of pictures, that we gave them in the photoshop. For example, we had to correct the date and time stamp of all pictures that we integrated from whats app messages, because they always had the wrong date and time. Do we loose these informations if we upgrade to the latest version?

I have PSE 18 on Windows 11. It appears that something has changed the way multiple RAWs are handled within ARC. In the past, when sending, let's say, three RAWs to ARC, they would be vertically lined up within ARC's left panel. And, then I could edit each one and send as a group to PSE proper.  However, all of a sudden (or what did I do,) when multiple RAWs are sent to ARC, first one appears and after editing and then selecting Done or Open Image, the next image appears in ARC...and so on. What up? What happened to their all appearing at once in the left panel? Thanks.

I have been using PSE 2024. Starting about a week ago I cannot open Canon RAW (CR3) photos with the Editor. I had no issue opening the same files with the Editor previously. I also have no problem opening JPG files with the Editor. I tried uninstalling previous versions of PSE, uninstalling and reinstalling PSE 2024 and installing the Camera Raw Plugin (from the help menu). When I install the Camer Raw Plugin the photos look better in the Organizer. When I try to edit, the Editor freezes. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Import one picture only from SD card - how?

I can't rotate the clone stamp in PS 2024. Is it only possible in full PS? Thank you. 

Hello all,   what do you think of all brushes and tools offered by the website creatorfoundry.com owned by Kelvin Pimont? Is it legit?  I do not see in all computer magazines or on the Internet any reviews of those softwares in the website or about this company??? Will those brushes and tools offered by creatorfoundry work in Photoshop Elements 2023??   Regards,   Aharon

Hallo,ich nutze seit Jahren Photoshop Elements 7.0. Da das Programm nach einem Rechner Update (Win 10) nicht mehr startete habe ich mir nun eben Photoshop Elements 2024 gekauft, heruntergeladen und installiert. Das Problem: Der Fotoeditor bricht nach ca. 30 Sec. laden ab und öffnet nicht. (Der Organizer dagegen öffnet sich). Wie kann ich das Problem beheben?

I'm running macOS Ventura 13.6.4 and using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023. I'm trying to install a trial of Eye Candy 7 but each time I create a test file in PE the Alien Skin filter fails to show up. I have installed the entire Alen Skin folder in the plug ins folder. The test type has been 'simplyfied' in order to apply an Eye Candy effect but, as I said, the filter fails to show for selection. I think I'm missing a step somewhere. Any chance someone can help me out before the trial period ends?

I have Photoshop Elements 2022 and I need to rotate a cloned item.  I'm making a renewing copy of an old 179 year old document and the decorative items follow a semicurcular path at the top of the document.  I clone stamped all the verticle items but these items start curving at the top.  I read on-line that there is a way to do this with the shift and arrow keys but it doesn't work on my 2022 version.  When did the sample rotate feature start/  Are there software updates that I can download?   [Personal information removed by moderator.]

Why do photos change to missing files in elements 2023 

Long time PSE user here but have never had this problem.  After I edit a photo, I always save as a TIFF file and a JPEG.  Suddenly, PSE is saving my work as incredibly small files.  The image I am currently working on is a 17.3MB RAW file. After editing it very slightly, PSE is saving it as a 5.33MB TIFF and a 563 KB jpeg.  On the TIFF options, I have "None" for Image compresion. For the jpeg, I always choose Quality 12, Maximum, Large file, but it is saving it as such a tiny file! I have not knowingly made any changes to PSE. I have used PSE weekly for years and know how big my images should be based on what I do to edit them, but something has changed because the file sizes that PSE is saving them to is unacceptable. Any suggestions for a fix would be greatly appreciated!

I use Adobe Photoshop 2019. Have one license on a desktop computer, and had the other on a laptop.   Recently got a new laptop and passed on the old laptop to a friend after uninstalling all my programs, files, etc including Photoshop and resetting. Am now trying to install the other licence on my new laptop.    However, the link on the installation disk now only facilitates download of the 2020 or 2021 version. I tried using the CD instead, but received the error message in the attached photograph.    I may have erroneously deactivated/uninstalled it from my previous laptop. Online troubleshooting states that 'We can help you deactivate your app from your old device. Make sure that you have your serial number or Adobe ID handy, and then contact us.' I would like to do so, but cannot find a point of contact.   Any help much appreciated!

Besides their absolutely abysmal recent update on Acrobat (this is another story for another day and/or forum), I'm now being bombarded with, commercial reminders (every half hour or so) to update to 2024 version of Elements.This bottom-left corner ad is completely interrupting my work schedule several times a day now.It seems that when the popup appears, it totally locks up Elements in the middle of my work, and I have to disable it by answering it with a click.Now I have Tool-Tips and auto-update disabled, so this should NOT be happening at all.This is beyond frustrating and I wondered if anyone else is experiencing this anomaly?Happy Elementing Folks! 🙂 

I keep getting an error when I try to use liquify. I've been using it for years. I just can't understand it.

This is the same problem as the initial PSE 2021:The 4x6 image is shifted off-center (left? & up?) to print as ca. 3.50 x 5.69.PSE Editor 2024 prints 4x6 as 4x6.PSE Organizer 2023 prints 4x6 as 4x6!

I have photoshop elements 6.  I took a photo of a girl and now need to add it to their family photo which I also took.  I cut around her with the magnectic lasso tool put do I need to use layers to add her to the photo so I can add her behind the rest of the family?

I understand now that they do not work well together. I am on an Adobe elements and premier trial  2024.  I  have a Mac Studio 1 ( 2023) and completely updated Sonoma os. I want to completely uninstall Adobe .what happens to the photos that have been deposited in the Elements Organizer ? Are they still in iCloud .?  I did not purchase Adobe cloud.     Do I have to move them back to Mac Photos ?     Would you state the steps to uninstall Adobe? 

My husband, the photographer, has 39,353 photos in the grid, which I guess is the catalog. How do you delete more than one photo at a time from the grid/catalog? Right now he's doing it three rows at a time. Holding down the Shift key doesn't work more than that. We're Mac.

I am running PSE 2023 on a Windows 11 desktop.  I have created a 1+ Gb .psd pano and saved it as a 17.9 Mb .jpg.  I know the Organizer can't create a thumbnail for the huge .psd, but it doesn't for the .jpg either. It displays the "broken file" icon for both files:Thumbs of other, much larger, .jpgs display fine.  I have tried Shift+Ctrl+U, to no effect.  Elements reports 14.8 Gb free memory.  Any thoughts? 

I have created several backups to an attached hard drive on my MAC. WhenI try to restore from one of them I get yet I received successful messages for each backup.
