Photoshop Elements

I have used PSE7 for several years on my Win7 and now Win10 PC. Have not dared to upgrade to Win11 yet.But I recently noticed that though the exif data is there and it shows the camera model, focal lengths, f values, shutter speeds etc under Properties in PSE7 it does not show what lense I have used. I googled this and it was suggested that newer cameras/lenses might not show up in older software. I have even looked back ca 10 years in my catalogue when I has older DSLR and there is still no lense info.So, I thought I might try to upgrade PSE to a later version.My question how high a version can I go so that my backup file from PSE7 will be imported?

BonjourDans certains dossiers d'Elements Organizer, des photos manquent alors qu'elles sont présentes dans le Finder de mon iMac. J'ai essayé d'importer de nouveau mais sans résultat. Et si je glisse les photos manquantes depuis le Finder vers l'Organizer, un message m'informe qu'elles sont déjà présentes alors qu'elles n'apparaissent pas. I bougth a 3 years license for Photoshop Elements in November 2025.  Startin about 3 weeks ago when try to load the program I get the message; Your Photoshop Elements 2026 license has been suspended.Reactivate your license at Adobe.com today.Reactivate your license at any time using your Adobe ID:  Marcbourgeois4@XXXXXXX.XX When I try to reactivate I get a 404 web page error. I had a copy of Photoshop Element 2022 on my PC which I deleted just before the problem started, which I think had may have had control of the license Key but I'm not sure.I have even tried to by a new license but tthe sale agent tells me it already installed so it won't proceed. Can anyone tell How to get Photoshop Element 2026 running again?

Photoshop Elements 2021 version 19 won't open after upgrading to macOS Tahoe 

I upgraded my Mac to the lastest operating system of Tahoe 26.2 and tried to open Photoshop Elements 2022.  I got a message that said...Adobe Photoshop cannot run on this computer because the minimum system requirement is Mac OS X version.It is now January 17, 2026 and I can't even open Photoshop Elements 2022. No warning from Adobe.  It just will not open at all.  I have read other forums and they are all complaining that they can't open thier Photoshop Elements either, not even with the latest version of Photoshop Elements 2026.Come on Adobe, you are better than this.  Don't make me lose faith in the quality of your products and future upgrades.  Please fix whatever bug it is, so I can use my Photoshop Elements 2022 that I bought and paid for.  I can't even open the program!

Photoshop Elements 2021 perpetual license activation limit reached.I purchased Photoshop Elements 2021 on Amazon (Order date: Jan 4, 2021).My old PC was disposed of, so I cannot deactivate it anymore.Now I get this error:"This serial number is already being used by the maximum number of computers."Support confirmed my license is active on 3 devices (maximum allowed).I only want to use it on my current PC (or transfer the activations to my new PCs).Please help with activation reset / clear activation count.I can provide proof of purchase and serial number via private message.

I just upgraded my mac to Tahoe 26.1 but now I can't open photoshop 2022. Any suggestions other that the $42 dollars per month charge from adobe. 

Does anyone know whether it’s currently possible to run the Photoshop Elements Catalog from the Adobe cloud, with photos stored entirely in the cloud as well? If not, are there any announced plans to support this kind of cloud-based catalog and photo storage in future versions of Photoshop Elements?

i created an adobe account and followed dowload steps however, when i downloaded the photoshop elements app, it asks either for a 7 day trial or months payments. i have already paid for it through a third party. 

I have been Elements for some time, and currently use versoin 2024.    starting about a week ago, when ever I click on print within Elements the program shuts down.   I have updated my HP print driver, rebooted etc.then I uninstalled Elements and re-installed, rebooting between them.     No improvement.   I downloaded ver 2026 demo, and that prints fine.  I am not crazy about pay $100 for 2026, especially since it is now only a 3 yr lease.Any good ideas?

Nach dem ich meinen PC verbessert habe (neue CPU, Mainboard und Ram) erhalhte ich die Fehlermeldung, dass die maximale Anzahl an Computern für die Seriennummer verwendet werden.Ich habe mich schon mit dem Support in verbindung gesetzt und diese haben mich auf das Forum verwiesen. Leider habe ich die alten PC-Komponenten nicht mehr und kann somit diesen nicht mehr zurückbauen. Ich hoffe man kann mir hier helfen, bei Fragen oder Ideen stehe ich zur Verfügung. Schönen Tag nochVictor

I have been using PE 2026 for over a year now, and been printing to my Epson ET2850 with no problems.  Recently when pressing print from the print dialogue settings, it crashes back to the home screen and does not print. I have reset all the preferences and rebooted but this makes no difference. I have changed nothing that I am aware of in my set-up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

About 6 months ago my PC hard drive crashed.  I restored my photos and data to a new PC from an online backup.  When I loaded the 2020 Elements software the labels and tags were missing.  I bought a subscription for Elements 2026 and downloaded it.  The tags and labels were still not showing up in the organizer.  I talked to Adobe support and they said I needed to find a backup in my PC files to restore my labels and tags.  I had not backed up the old software for many months and do not know where to find it in my backup.  How can I recover my tags and labels?

Hello,A few days ago the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 Photo Editor was working perfectly and now it will not load. When I click Photo Editor, it says, "Loading Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace..." After 15-30 seconds the message goes away and nothing happens. Otherwise, the computer is working fine. Shutting down and restarting my Windows 11 computer does not help. Double-clicking PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe also does nothing. I have not installed any new Windows updates or software. I do not have a firewall. I see that several others here have had the same problem. I have used Adobe Photoshop Elements for years without a problem. What is causing this and how do I fix it? Step by step instructions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have updated from Elements 12 to elements 2024. Creating a parent or master album and them add sub albums to it was easy. This does not seem to be the case with elements 2024. I have searched the help advice and that indicated it can be done. Can anyone give me some advice in how to do this simple task?

I am still using Photoshop 7 elements. I am considering finally updating to a newer version. However, I am concerned about encountering trouble when doing this. I am not a computer whiz, but I can do anything with clear, step-by-step instructions. Instructions that tell/show me step by step what to do next. (I am an elderly woman who still likes to use the computer and create photo albums for my family.) My biggest concern is losing photos and the organization system I have established for my photos. All of my photos are in albums by year, and all photos are tagged with the names of people who are in them.  Should I be concerned? Are there steps to take to avoid these issues? Thank you for any help you can give me. 

I'm trying to print two, 3x4 prints on one 4x6 paper, but it won't put them side-by-side, and won't even print them singly on separate sheets at the right size. When I try to specify print sizes, it says 4.00 inches is beyond the print parameters although borderless printing is selected. I've got an Epson PM-400 and am running Windows 11 on a Lenovo ThinkBook. I've done this thousands of times before in older versions of PSE and on older computers.

I bought a new Windows 11 desktop and installed Elements 2024 as the second allowable installation.  The tools on the left side bar does not drop down the group of different tools that can be used.  Hoping there is a solution to this problem.  Thank you.

I often check original photo files on an SD card or USB stick using Elements Editor to see how I modified them from the originals. This has the side effect of adding them to the Organizer catalog which i dont want. In My PSE 2018 I then simply had to search/find for missing files, all the offline files would appear as missing, and then i would simply hit delete and remove them from the catalog.No so in Organizer 26. When I search for missing files, the offline files are no longer considered missing.  Thats fine, but how do I identify the offline files? Clicking on Organizer - Filter - Local Media, still shows files with non C: drive locations. The Find menu does not seem to have any filters to accomplish what I want to do. So does anyone have suggestions for what can be best summarized as "identify all files in the catalog with non C: drive locations" and then remove them (from catalog only, not the physical location) task?

I use Photoshop Elements Organizer 2025 on Mac OS.My pictures are stored on a Synology NAS and this is connected as a drive (/photo). Catalogue and tagging works fine. But when I'd like to move the pictures on a new folder, which is still empty, it is not shown in the library.The folder is available through Finder.

I'm trying to install an earlier version of Elements (PSE 11) on a brand new Windows 11 machine. It says that "Px Engine Device Driver for 64-bit" has an issue, but I can't find any files like pxhelpa64.sys anywhere on my computer (not under Windows, anyway). Does anyone have any suggestions for what else the file might be called? I searched for "px" and got no results. The problem was solved by the Geek Squad previously by "deleting a device driver file" but no one there can tell me which file it was!

Hello,I have a family photo database of nearly 49k photos on my 😧 drive. All these photos are nicely organised in PSE 2026 Organiser.Recently, following a major backup exercise, I appear to have backed up my Catalogue to the C: drive and also copied the database to the same location.The result is that the organiser now uses the copy of the database on the C: drive as its source  and not the original location on the 😧 drive.What is the easiest way to get the organiser to use the original source location on trhe 😧 drive? I am a bit loath to delete the copied database  on the C: drive and then reconnect to 49k photos on the 😧 drive unless I am assured that this is the best way to resolve the issue. Thanks & Regards,Jim

I downloaded PSE 2026.  Windows 11 PC updated today. Turned off Antivirus, Tried running as admin. Slowed down graphics. Proramm appears to open , but the organizer and Editors do not open/work

I have had Elements 26 for about a month now, and started using Camera Raw more often. (mainly to see if the setting the Details slider to 100% enables the so called deconvolution processing) While doing this I see that Camera Raw (I have version 18) now includes three new tabs: Denoise (default slider at 50%), Raw Details, and Super Resolution. While I thought they were only in FULL Camera Raw, not in Elements, yet here they are. Not that they do anything, and not that Adobe has updated their Elements Camera Raw page instructions either to explain their presence. As is all three tabs have a black triangle with an exclamation point inside. So they very well may be disabled. Howevere why show them at all? After all the other full Photoshop Raw functions dont show up. All of my GPU capabilities are green, turning off the GPU acceleration on or off makes no difference, editing jpg vs raw makes no difference, and photo size/resolution makes no difference either. So are there any explanatio

Hello all.  I can't download and activate my Photoshop Elements 2021 because I have exceeded the device limit since I reset my computer like 5 times.  I see at the Help Center it says I can deactivate all old devices at the "activated devices" section but none of my old computers are shown.  Is there anything else I can do to deactivate the old computers?
