Photoshop Elements

There is distorted color at the top of the color picker square, and the foreground color square is split into two colors.  I have tried reseetting preferences and restarting Photoshop, and I have uninstalled Photoshop and reinstalled it. I am using Photoshop Elements 2021 Editor and the MacO|S is Sonoma 14.0.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  

For some reason, the top box in the foreground/background selection is split in half and I can't get it back to normal.  See pic (the top box is split black/white) 

I am using Photoshop Elements 2020 with a Mac studio with 32Gb of memory and the latest Mac software Sonoma 14.1.2After I use the Lasso tool on a photo there is a 5 to 10 second delay if I want to re-use the Lasso tool to add additional selections. My photo files are not large!What is causing the delay and how can I correct it?

Photoshop Elements 2022 Color Picker Tool doesn’t work

My MacBook Pro recently stopped working and I had to use a Time Machine backup to load all of my harddrive again.Photoshop Elements 22 is "buggy" now - slow to operate and the colors are all lines and messed up. It's almost impossible to use like this. I think that I need to reinstall the program but when I go to Utilities to try and uninstall the app, it's not listed there. So now I have no clue what to do. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi ... I somehow made it so that the foreground/background color icon at the bottom of the toolbox changed so that the foreground box is now divided in two-- half black and half white-- and I haven't been able to change it back. Has anyone else run ito this? Ideas? thanks for any help you can offer.

I'm working on a Macbook Air M1, and I've been using Adobe Elements since I got the laptop last May. Just recently Premiere Elements has had a particular trouble with the Color Picker. It's not displaying the colors in the tool, then opening the color picker gives me the odd pallete displayed below.Has this error shown up for anyone else, and is there a solution for this display issue?  

Hi All,Just off a lengthy effort to identify why my background/foreground color selector tools went wonky (see image)--and I found out that PSE 2022 does not play nice with the newest iOS Sonoma 14.0 release. It also affects the graphics tools available--like backgrounds. No solution at this point, but it was escalated to Adobe's software engineers. The temporary solution is to upgrade to PSE 2023, which is not great since 2024 should come out soon. But "maybe" a 30-day trial bridges the gap. My opinion: Adobe should comp 2023 to 2022 users if they can't fix this during that time period. It doesn't make sense that 2022 should become a brick this soon. 

Having display issues with Photoshop Elements after upgrading my Macbook Pro to Sonoma. See screen shots for details.Color picker doesn't show color correctly. Color should show solid black not half white. Dialog also shows incorrectly once opened. Photos in Photo Bin are distorted if more than one photo is opened. This makes it very difficult to work with the files.

When I create a new Catelogue in the Organiser a splash screen wanting to import data from my mobilekeeps appearing. No matter how many time I state no and then have to select  skip to close the splash the next time I create a Catelogue the same screen appears. How can I stop it

When I open a PDF in PS Elements for the Mac, I get blank pages, no text. Any ideas what's going on? PS Elements 2020 (18.0)

I just installed the latest Elements 2021 update on two different machines. The manual Levels tool no longer works correctly. Auto Levels still works fine, but when I move the sliders manually, nothing happens. 😞 

Levels adjustment preview does not work Elements 23. Works in older versions, i.e. 10, 11. Quite disappointed after buying the latest version.

Curser (Expert Mode) - Very, very Small - Difficult To See - How do I enlarge for easy visibility?

I have over 55,000 photos in PSE 2018 Organizer without issue but lately all the photos I add are only showing hourglass image for their thumbnails.  The full size images are fine and I can use all PSE functions.  The "update thumbnail" under the edit pull-down does not help.  I am using Windows 10.  Any suggestions on how to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Photoshop elements 2023 will not open my CR3 files.  I have download the camera raw plug-in.

Updated from Elements 18 to 24 because of new camera. 24 won't open my raw files.

I recently had to upgrade from PSE 2019 due to using Apple Sonoma 14.2.1 on my Mac, and converted my catalog to PSE 24..  After using it a few times, I decided to uninstall PSE 2019 to save storage space.  The catalog then had a problem opening the next time as it wanted to reconnect six mp3 files which it claimed were in the catalog but could not find.  The attached path shows the theme folders which each contain one .mp3 file whch is invisible in the catalog so cannot be deleted but needs to reconnect.I finally reinstalled PSE 19 and had the expected message that Organizer was damaged.  The PSE 24 catalog loaded correctly without needing ro reconnect but I still cannot find the mp3 files to delete them.  This seems to be an issue of the upgrade from 2019.  Has anyone discovered a solution? Since posting, I have found a work-around.  I've moved the mp3 files into PSE 24 Music folder and re-connected them to that location.  They are still in

He Adobe community,I don't know how to solve the following problem.I own Adobe Photoshop and Premiere elements licences. I installed on two computers (desktop and laptop). My old laptop stopped working and is not working anymore. Now I try to install the Adobe apps on an a new laptop - but it looks like I reach the maximum of two activation.The guide to transfer licences tells me to deactivate on the old machine, but this is not available anymore. What can I do to leave the app activated on the desktop and re-install on the new laptop?Thanks for your help and regardsEberhard

Hello, This question is twofold: Recently I moved my perpetual license CS6 from a 2009 iMac with SL to a 2017 iMac with High Sierra. (BTW, I don't rely on these apps professionally so it doesn't make sense for me to spring for a Creative Cloud subscription. These days I mostly use Photoshop and Illustrator out of CS6 Web & Design Premium.) Despite having to manually install the CS6 apps and their updates (i.e. right-click installer to view "package contents" as a workaround for the 32-bit components in the CS6 installers under High Sierra), I ended up with Creative Cloud and now the CC uninstaller, despite running the CC cleaning tool, won't let me uninstall the CC even though I have never so much as run a trial of CC apps. Meanwhile, I attempted to install Photoshop Elements 2019 on the same iMac from a DVD. The installation failed with error 41, reporting that the installer was unable to access a critical file/directory. (This error is associated with not being log

When using Detail Smart Brush, it was always a partial opacity brush - about 12.5% opacity. Recently, it will randomly change to full opacity.   I can change the overall layer opacity, but it will not create as seamless of a blend as when you can build up using a partial opacity brush. In my attached image you can see where it was a full opacity brush on start up, but in the middle of making edits, it changed back to the partial 12% opacity.   There is nowhere to change the opacity of the smart brush. My application has been defaulting to 100% opacity brush, and just occasionaly switches back to normal.   Anybody else having this issue, or have any ideas for a solution?
