Photoshop Elements

My Canon RAW files from my R7 camera do not display in the Elements 2023 Autoloader.Is there a fix for this? Thanks,Denny

I would like some advice please.I want to change the colour of a carpet, (and retain the texture of a carpet).I have tried but I have two main difficulties -The selecting of the carpet because it goes behind various table legs– and- Keeping the texture of carpet(my first attempt ended up with chairs etc. floating on a painted floor)(The carpet is Light Red near a window and a Darker Red in the shadows)I would be awfully grateful if someone could either –Guide me step by step through the process-or-Point me to a helpful video that could guide me through the processMany thanksMike

I recently was in manage catalogs : custom locations where I had four catalogs and clicked out to My Catalog.  When I came back to select one of the custom location catalogs, the list was gone.  How do I search for the list of missing catalogs.  They ar not located in the default position for catalogs.

I've just upgraded from PSE15 and am struggling with this new version.I use to be able to drag a layer to the tab of the tab of the other image I want to add this layer to. I'm doing football players and I'm opening the player image in one tab and when it's ready I'm compliling all the players into one multi layered image file. Now it seems that I have to do this 'floating window' thing and it's much more clicking and moving of images. Makes me want to go back to the way it was. Please help, Thank you.

I have the pastiest version 2020 of photoshop elements and cannot seem to do a panorama photomerge.  I go to the "guided" tab.  Select photomerge panorama.  Then I highlight 3 photos from the photobin I want to merge.  I have it set to auto panorama.  I click "create panorama" and it just jumps me back to the start of the guided tab where it lists the 6 different photomerge options.  No other pop-ups.  Nothing showed up in the expert tab.  I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. 

I have Photoshop Elements 10 installed on my PC and I'm having to do a factory restore of my PC because my C Drive has run out of space. Frustrating because I've got loads of space on D, but all my programs are on the C drive and cannot easily be moved to free up space Logging into my Adobe account, I no longer have a download link to Photoshop Elements 10, although my serial number for the software is still listed in my "Products" section. Does anyone know why this might have disappeared? Am I no longer able to download Elements 10 because the software has been discontinued? Seems a bit harsh if so, as I purchased a one off licence that doesn't need to be renewed.

I'm making Christmas slideshows and the only Christmas music offered by PSE 2023 is Deck the Halls. I would like some variety. But where can I find music with the correct extensions?

My issue is with the Eraser Tool. For the tool, there is a cirle-cursor. My Issue is that the eraser tool does not fill the circle-cursor but is inside of the circle-cursor (small than the cursor). So, when I want to erase close to a line, I have to guess by overlapping the circle-cursor. It is very frustrating. It used to work, no longer. It is not a caps lock issue from what I can tell. I am using PS Elements 2019. Thank you in advance for your help and guidance on this one!

I backed up a catalog from Organizer PSE 11 on an older Intel based iMac.  When I tried to restore the catalog to Organizer PSE 2021 on a MacBook Pro M1 (Apple's new chip), I get the error shown in the attachment.   I tried doing this from two different external drives,  normal drive and an SSD and get this same error.  Any suggestions?   

I had an iMac on Sierra and used Organizer 11.  I also had PSE 15 and never converted the Organizer catalogue to PSE 15.  I backed up the catalogue and photos to a hard drive and then micgrated to another iMac which is now on Mojave.  Organizer 11 now displays only half of the screen so I suppose it doesn't work with the new OS.  I have another MacBook Pro M1 with PSE 2021 and I tried to restore the Catalogue but it didn't recognize the backup file (catalog.buc?).   I have copied the picture folder over to the M1 separately but, is there anyway to just copy the catalogue separately without the photos?Thanks for any help.

I am trying to reproduce in PSE 2023 the change that happens when I print a color image. The best way I can describe it is that the print appears to have had a transparent wash that makes everything uniformly duller and grayer.I want to create an image I can post on a printing forum which shows the image I see on my monitor side by side with the image the printer creates.I do not see how to do it, but I think I want to adjust the opacity to more than 100%.Is this possible?thanksbaumgrenze

I'm used to an older version of Elements and can't figure out how to add a page to a project I'm working on. Did they remove this capability from 2023? I used to right click on the thumbnail and had the option of add a blank page or add a page with current layout. Now I only seem to be able to dupicate. 

Hello,I am a relatively new Adobe Photoshop Elements user who recently found out that when I save a file created using Photoshop Elements, Photoshop Elements will update the Date modified metadata to the current day and time / date AND, for one reason or another, also update the Date created metadata to the current date, for example, 24th September 2023 at whatever time. On 24th September 2023 (around that date), I opened one of my Photoshop Elements files to import and edit a photo. Then, I pressed the Ctrl and S hotkeys to open the Save or Save As window, located my opened file in the Save As window, left every setting as they were such as Layers and ICC, hit Save, and finally checked the Date modified and Date created metadata for my Photoshop Elements file in Windows File Explorer. Normally, what happens is that Photoshop Elements only changes Date modified. Date created stays the same as it should. Praise the Lord. But, this time, both Date modified AND Date created

Does the new Photoshop Elements 2023 support Canon CR3 files produced by the Canon R7 camera?

I can't find a new user guide for Photoshop Elements 2020 or for Premiere Elements 2020.  Are there new user guides for the 2020 versions?

My pen pressure doesn't work at all in Photoshop Elements 2023. The brushes don't have the Pen Pressure "design" either, they are just flat. The opacity setting doesn't work either. I use Huion drawing tablet (DWH69) and I have Windows 11. I've tried reinstalling the Huion Driver and the Photoshop, tried to change the tablet settings from Photoshop too, but nothing seems to work. The Pen Pressure does work in my other laptop, which still has Windows 10. Is the problem in Windows 11? Can someone tell me?

I have a Canon 5 D Mark III. I can't open Raw files. I think I need software to do so. Any ideas? 

Would very much appreicate it if anyone can help me with this:I'm using PSE 2022.  I used to have a Topaz plug-in called Topaz B&W Effects. (It's quite an old app, but I used to use it quite a bit.)Recently I had problems with my PC and I had to uninstall and then re-install Windows 10.Having done that, I had to reinstall all my old programs / apps.  I succeeded in downloading Topaz B&W Effects, but the problem is that PSE doesn't seem to be communicating with it. That is, when I try to access Topaz B&W Effects as a PSE plug-in, it isn't there! (It all used to work before I re-loaded Windows 10, but now it won't work.)Can anyone tell me how to fix this?  It would be very much appreciated. I would be glad of any suggestions.🙂

Clone stamp tool has stopped working properly.  Alt-Rclick seems to get response (sample circle turns to bullseye) but then get either "area to clone has not been defined" in some cases, but in others a selection is made and I can clone but the selection is in an incorrect area (not the area I selected to clone) and then I can't get it to change. Wierd.  Tried resetting general preferences on launch, resetting tool, resetting all tools. Sampling all layers (problem occurs even when only dealing with 1 (background) layer). I even tried a different mouse. I'm stumped.  Any other ideas? Windows 10.  Latest PS2020 updates. I'm reluctant to upgrade this old version now fearing I'll spend money only to have same problem.  Many thanks for any help.

No, I don't know when PSE 2024 will get released.No reason to put off getting prepared for it:  You will need to manually copy and paste things you installed into a folder on your computer that you can find.No, you do not need to uninstall a previous version:  IF YOU DO only do so after your catalogue is imported into the new version of the program.Each version of the program is a new version, and a new installation- your old version is never "upgraded" to a new version.If you have any other add-ons, such as elements plus (Elements+) you probably will have to purchase a new version of elements plus. There are probably other things, but not many, that you should make backup copies of, to me, these are the most important ones.

/Running Mac Ventura 13.5.1Photoshop Elements 2021Everything was working yesterday.  Now whenever I use the perspetice ctop tool the entire photo disappears.It was suggested to reset the tool - there is no option for me to do that 

I had PS ELLEMENTS on another computer but that computer has now been scrapped after it crashed so I want to instal PS ellements 14 on my new computer but it wont work and saying I have to uninstal from old computer 1st but that can't be done as computer went in bin,   Please help

When viewing some of my photos in Elements Organizer 2020, the Mark Face button on the lower ribbon is  grayed out (non-functional). This is not the case with other photos, and sometimes when I switch away from the photo where it is grayed out and then come back to it, the Mark Face button is now working. Can you help with this problem?

Hello friends.I'm somewhat new to restoring.  I've watched a few tutorials and tried using the healing brush and clone stamp, but I'm not getting anything that could be close to passable.  This is for personal use, so it doesn't need to be perfect, but the white streak is too distracting.Thanks,Kimberly

I installed Adobe elements last week, after initial setup it started the face analyzing aspect of the program I am going on 6 days and it is only at 66% it is completing about 3% a day and the rest of the program is too slow and unresponsive to use ....How long should this take to finish so I can start using the program?  I currently have about 22,000 pictures it is going through and I have taken the computer out of sleep mode so it is running 24/7.  At this rate I am still 2 weeks out from using the program this can not be normalThanks[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from generic Cloud/Setup forum to the specific Program forum...
