Photoshop Elements

Hi,    Using Elements Organiser 2022 Places dialogue, I can drag and drop an "unpinned" image onto a map and it will stay pinned there.  Even when I close and restart Organiser.  But when I look at the file, its last modified date hasn't changed and (not surprisingly) there is no GPS data or place name associated with it.  In fact its only the Organiser Catalog that has been updated.  This is immediately obvious when the image is deleted from the catalog and re-imported.  It is no longer is pinned.   I've read https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/elements-organizer/using/adding-places.html which talks about adding location data to your media files.  It would seem that the one thing Organiser doesn't do is add location data to the media files.  One of the reasons I upgraded from my older license was because the mapping function died when Adobe had a bust up with Google - they used Google Maps.   To be honest I really don't

I have moved my photos to a new PC.  Is there an easy way to change the location of all the files?  On my old computer the location was C:\User\Username\OneDrive\Pictures...On the new one it is:C:\User\Usern\OneDrive\Pictures...The photos are already moved to the new PC using windows file copy.  Reconnecting the Missing photos is taking a very long time because the auto connect doesn't work effeciently and if I do it mannually I need to search for each subfolder manually.  Is there a way to just tell the program that the files are in the same subfolders but the UserName folder has changed? Thanks, 

I can't find a suitable group to post this question. I have Elements 2020 and legacy Lightroom v6 in my adobe account. Lately I can't sign into my account because Adobe wants a phone number now. There's no way I can bypass this step:Does anyone know how to bypass the request for a phone number?

I have realised that I have GPS data in Strava for a lot of images that I have taken while walking and cycling over the years. I don't think that PSE 2020 will do this directly, but I can use a variety of tools to update the images to add GPS metadataWhat I can't do is get PSE to use that data to pin images that have already been imported.Is there an easy way to make PSE read the GPS metadata and pin the images according to that data?I think that PSE reads the GPS data when it imports the files and woud pin it then, but I don't want to delete and reimport as it would lose the edits and tagging.I read somewhere that updating the thumbnail might do it, but that doesn't seem to work.Any ideas?

Elements 2023. How do I change my address in the Info Copyright box of thousands of picture files? 

I recently purchased my mac and it's my first one (but I have used Photoshop Elements 2019 on my PC). When I open elements organizer 2023 on my mac it works for 1-10 minutes and then crashes. At first I thought it was crashing when it tried to update watched folders, but I no longer have watched folders and it's still doing it. Sometimes I'm in the application, and others I've tabbed out to do something else, most recently checking activity monitor... I have had a dozen versions of Elements over the years and all have work great...The newer versions with the guided tools is a big pain in the ass as far as keeping things running...The Painterly Tool never works more than one or two times after doing a reset and that is a pain...How do I fix this issue perminatly?  

I have a Creative Cloud All Apps plan.Why are ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 2021 and premiere Element not part of the plan?

I have somehow deleted the task bar at the bottom of my screen (that has the Photo Bin and Tool Options, etc) and cannot fully recover it.  I have gotten back the Photo Bin by pressing fn5, and the current tool by pressing fn4, but I'm unable to find the rest of the task bar.  I'm running Elements 2023 on a Mac using MacOS 13.5.1Can someone lead me in the right direction, please!  Most of the help I've found seems more directed to PCs than Macs.Thanks in Advance,Don

Hi creators, I have lot of layers which i need to group individually with tha same layer name. Is thera way to group a single layer by layer name itself without renaming each group?

I downloaded Photoshop Elements 2023, and selected one of my catalogs, which are on an external drive, to update. The thumbnails display for each album, but there are no individual photos. To find them, the system tries to go through my computer files, not the separate drive. When I try to match them from the drive, I've so far had no luck. I tried importing them from the file, but am told they're already in the catalog. Since this is only one of a number of catalogs I have, I really need to know how to solve this. I use an iMac and Seagate drive.

Hello, I just got Adove Photoshop Elements 2023. When I attempt to add moving elements, whatever I select just goes solid grey when I go to play the effect. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks. KLS

Photoshop Elements- 2 questions about Skin Tan lines. I need detailed step-by-step instructions, please. (the bandaid clone tool does not do what we would like to look realistic).  1. How do I remove tan lines on leg at the bottom of shorts? The bandaid tool that matches area does not seem to be thr best approach.2. How do I make feet in high heels that are extremley white (tennis player has legs tanned but feet are white because of shoes). How do I make the feet tan. That are in black stappy high heels?

Hello,I'm trying to use Enhance->Moving Elements in Photoshop Elements 2023. In the preview everything looks great. But if I export the result the video quality is absolutely horrible and the video is also downscaled. I could not find anything in the preferences or anywhere else that would allow me to configure the video output bitrate or resolution. How can I get a high quality export?Thanks

I have elements 2020 and have see ads for presets that say they are compablable with Photoshop, but they do not specifically say photoshop elements. Does anyone know if external purachsed presets will work with photoshop elements and has anyone tried them.Do they really work and are they worth purchasing?

Or do I just need to do something extra to get it to work?Thanks so much for any guidance!

How can I preserve the image quality when importing a jpg to Elements 2023 from my samsung phone?   Before we upgradedto 2023 it was Perfect. every time.    Now all the jpgs are pixilated and useless.  Help!

Hello, I am having issues when I try ant cut and paste, im getting a box saying 'Could not use the content-aware tool because no pixels are detected' What does this mean, I use this all the time for years no problems.    [Typo in title edited by moderator]

I want to transfer my photos to an external hard drive because my scratch disk is full,. But something funny has been going on with my photos for awhile. Even when I import them once, they are imported again and again. I usually don't erase them from my memory card until I make my final edits.  I'm using a MacBook Pro, Monterey OS and Photoshop Elements  2020. Maybe it will help to look at the screenshot I have attached that lists my folders. Some of folders have no images in them.  Will this "funny stuff" with the folders affect my transferring images (25 GB) to a hard drive and then later trying to import certain folders to work with them?  

Onlangs licentie gekocht Adobe Elements 2023 voor € 99,--.  Geregistreerd account bij Adobe. Installatie gaat met problemen. # 1 Required components were not completely installed. Please reinstall etc.# 2 Online Services could no be initialized. Please reinstall etc. Meerdere malen programma opgehaald uit mijn Adobe account en geinstalleerd op mijn Mac.Foutmeldingen komen telkens terug. Cookies ?Als ik de Organiser open (na moeizame start) zie ik slechts 15% van mijn fotobestanden, die fysiek staan op externe SSD HD.Geen idee: Hoe nu verder ? Dit is de zoveelste teleurstelling met Adobe. By the way waarom is het programma niet in het Nederlands voor de Mac wel voor Windows ? Weer een teleurstelling. Ga ik naar support-site dan staan daar oplossingen in het Nederlands, maar dat is niet handig als het programma uitsluitend in het Engels is. Wie gaat mij helpen ?
