Photoshop Elements

I open photoshop elements 2023 and want to start the editor for pictures and then it says that i have to login with my Adobe ID. So I click on the login butten and login with google (it opens the login in the browser) and say that im done and i can now close the browser window, i do that and then it just turns withe.

Hi,I managed to lose access to my photos in Elements.  The list of folders appears but when I click, it says no media available, clear filter and try again.I went further down on the list, click on This PC and C drive....it says no filters imported into Organizer.  To add, r click on folder and select import media.I did this but get a message saying 0 media files skipped because already present in catalog or not supplied.  I am tearing my hair out.  HELP!!!!!!

I'm using  PSE 2020. I want to share about 40 files with someone so they can download them. Only problem is that in sending these photos by gmail, some are large files and Google says I have to use Goggle Drive. To submit photos that way requires receiver to click on a link, which is not a problem. However, is there a better way than gmail and Google Drive for me to send these photos? Do I have to send each photo by itself?  Is there another service I could use?For    Should I just see if the receiver will accept a thumb drive? I use a MacBook Pro.

I shot photos in JPEG fine + RAW using a Nikon. The resolution of the  RAW images that I have edited is 733 for i ages that are something like 4000x 3200 pixels. If I change the resolution to 300, the size of the images changes to something like 1200 x whatever. Can I leave the recolution at abut 733 or can I change it?Is this high resolution the result of shooting in JPEG fine + RAW?

Hi, gang. My Photoshop Elements 2023 program stopped working last night (Sat 07/01). The editor would come up and allow me to make a menu choice but wouldn't load any file I chose. And then when I tried to close the window it took several seconds to do so. I have uninstalled the program (the original settings were saved), rebooted and reinstalled it but it's behaving the same way. Should I try another uninstall/reinstall or is something else at work here? HELP! And thanks. Mike!

I have Photoshop Elements 12. I have an image that I want to colorise to match a specific RGB/hex value, but in Photoshop, Enhance > Adjust Color > Adjust Hue/Saturation leads me to a pop-up box with sliders for hue, saturation and lightness, as shown below. It appears that it's only possible to judge by eye, which is not what I want.  Following the 'Help' link takes me here but none of that seems to address my problem. Am I stuck with just trying to use the sliders and judging the resulting colour by eye?

Photoshop Elements 2.0 keeps opening with a couple of "Help / Recipes / etc." dialogs along the right edge; nothing to be found in PE's Help -- only reiteration that, yes, there is a "Help / Rrecipes / etc." function on you computer now.  Never had this before Windows 10.How to stop those useless "Help / Recipe / etc." boxes from showing up ever again.No, I have no interest whatsoever in moving to any other version of PE -- this has served me completely satisfactorily.Thank you.  Your help will be, I hope, truly more helpful than anything I've found in the program or on-line.Appreciated.

I'm having a problem where the word GIF is appearing on top of images: How can I stop this?I have PSE 2023.

Yesterday I updated my Mac OS to Ventura 13.4.1. My Photoshop Elements 2023, vers. 21, will now not work. A window will open, but the top part of the window is not visible, meaning the menu at the top of the window, along with the red, brown, green buttons, are not visible. I can not move the window. I’ve tired a number suggestions found on the web, but no-one help.So - effectively, my Photoshop Element is not usable.

Hi, I've added a blue sky to a photo taken on an overcast morning, but now the sky reflected in the windows doesn't match the sky. Please could someone advise (in simple terms!) how I could solve this? Thanks  

They work everywhere else (Word, Facebook, MS File Explorer (correct name?)). Have installed NOTHING new in ages, running Win8. Help! 

Frustrated searching for hours how to resolve.purchased photoshop elements and premiere elements years ago and registered the serial numbber in my adobe account.I have no activated Computer in my account nor can i delete or modify the registered serial numbers.I purchased a new computer, the old is sweeped clean and I wanted to install the programs from the DVD which i still have. Now, I cannot start the program as it will not accept my serial number, I cannot change or modify anything in my account, have no 'registered' Computer to delete...What to do? Thanks for support.

I have Photoshop Elelments 2020 on Mac but now have a Windows laptop. Can it be downloaded for this or must I buy a new one?  

Hi, I am using Elements 2020, when go edit phots in Expert mode, the bottom menu applets keeps flickering and I am not bale to do any work , I have applied all latest update to Elements 2020Please see attahced sceen shot

    Yesterday I upgraded from Photoshop Elements [PE] 2018 to PE 2023.  I mostly use Irfanview [IV] for viewing and quick edits.  When I want to do something more, I open the file in PE.    After installing PE 2023, I opened a pic (from 2003) in IV, and decided I liked it enough that I wanted to use 'perspective crop', so opened it in PE 2023.  To my surprise, the sky in the pic appeared very blotchy.  I'd never seen that difference between the two programs' display of a picture before.  When I saved the pic with PE 2023, the resulting pic retained that blotchiness even when viewed with IV.  I haven't yet deleted PE 2018, so tried the same with PE 2018 and got the same result as PE 2023.  Looking at the original pic in IV, I see some artifacts in the sky portion, but not nearly so distracting in the PE versions.  If PE showed the same view as IV, I could have quickly removed the sky artifacts with PE's tools, but in the PE ver

Hi! I purchased PE10 and loaded it, using the DVD's, onto my Mac computer which is now so old that it wont run. I registered the serial number at the time I loaded the software.I have purchased a Windows Laptop that I want to load my software onto, however it has no DVD drive and Im unable to find my version to download. I tried to use the Adode Help service where it asked me to provide the serial number of the product and all I get is a message that the Serial Number is already in use - which I know. Contacting the Help Desk via chat Im told that PE is now 'End-of-Support' and all they wanted to do was sell me a new plan.Can anyone help me? If my computer wasnt so old that it stopped working, Id still be using the product I purchase - I dont want to pay again!Please and Thank you in advance.

I transferred a photo folder from a USB drive to my MacBook Pro. Successful. I'm using Photoshop Elements 2020. However, when I click on two of the photos, they do not open. All photos are  JPEG.   Four of the 30 photos have a Cloud icon beside them. I don't know why some have the icon and others not. Also, the first time I clicked on the folder there was no Cloud icon next to it, the second time, there was a Cloud icon next to the folder and a message saying "waiting for 9 photos to upload". Also, after the click, the photos where in a different order. Do I/ a user have to be connected to internet to get these photos? I don't want to have to be on the internet to look at photos. I have backup. I just want me or anyone else to put USB flashdrive in computer slot or phone to view or order prints. The problem too is that four of the photos have Cloud icons beside them. How do I get a set of photos that are not in the Cloud.  Does a photo being in the Cloud a

Hi,I have just downloaded the Photoshop Elements 2023. Something went wrong with the installtion and I get the message: Sorry, installation failed. With no error code.When I start the installation, it says that is has found an already existing folder where an old installation resides. And I am not able to select another path where I can install the application. Anybody that has some good advices here?Thank for your help.BrRoger

Hi,I am hoping someone can tell me why Photoshop won't let me open my files as "Camera Raw" files anymore.I was opening and editing all files as camera raw files and then it just stopped letting me opening the files as camera raw files. I now get a prompt "Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file."I am hoping someone has a solution to this issue?

Wenn ich unter Datei, Drucken wähle erscheint das Bild zentriert z.B auf A4 und ist mit einem blauen Rahmen umgeben. Lösche ich nun zentriert und gebe z.B. oben 2 cm ein verschwindet das Bild und es ist nur noch zentriert der blaue Rahmen sichtbar. Ich möchte aber um Papier zu sparen nicht ein 10x15 cm Bild mitten in einem A4 Blatt ausdrucken. Auf  meinem alten Laptop mit PSE 10 funktioniert die Verschiebung nach oben proglemlos. Was mache ich falsch?  Trotz grosser Geduld und Freundlichkeit konnte mir der Support nicht weiterhelfen.When I choose File, Print, the image appears centered on e.g. A4 and is surrounded by a blue frame. If I now delete centered and enter e.g. 2 cm at the top, the image disappears and only the centered blue frame is visible. But I don't want to print a 10x15 cm picture in the middle of an A4 sheet to save paper. On my old laptop with PSE 10, shifting up works without a hitch. What am I doing wrong? I recently got my 2019 iMac working, and upgraded it to Monterey. I bought Photoshop Elements 2022, and Premiere Elements 2022, and downloaded them from Adobe.  Photoshop Elements won’t install. It hangs up saying “Installing (7%)” and “10-12 MINUTES LEFT.” It’s been this way for over an hour. This is the second time I’ve tried installing PE2022, with the exact same results.  After this, I installed Premiere Elements 2022, and the install worked. I’m not familiar with Premiere, but it seems to work. Any thoughts or ideas how to make Photoshop Elements 2022 work with Monterey yet? I’ve read about the problems and hope Adobe will get this fixed sooner rather than later. Maybe this info will help.

Many will start getting an error message now if they try and direct download the installer for their adobe products. Why? I have no idea. I tried myself to reinstall my licensed software, in this case, Photoshop Elements 2022, and kept getting this notice which hasn't occurred before: "installation  cannot continue as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer again." The usual "guidance being relied on is in fact out of date, inaccurate or just nonsense. The false advice is usually something along the lines of: Make sure all your updates have been done including drivers (you should do that anyways but it wont help).Use a different browser (Edge/Both versions, FireFox, Safari, Chrome).Check your Internet connection, try installing trial software then activate, blah, blah, blah. Make sure you are not trying to install something else at the same time.
