Photoshop Elements

view fullscreen and F11 is suddently not working anymore with Elements 2020

This tool is really starting to drive me up the wall.  If I'm going around a large image, being careful to use the tool, it will close automatically at seemingly random times.  Once this start happening, lines are crisscrossed and it becomes nearly impossible to salvage what you've already selected.To make matters worse, adding new sections using the same tool it very flaky.  9 out of 10 times when I click to add the beginning of a new selection, no anchor is placed. down.  I end up clicking all around the image trying to get one started.

My Photo Shop Organizer 2022 recently updated on my computer resulting in ALL of my photo captions missing. Any suggestions on how to restore the captions?Thank you.

Ist es normal, dass wenn ich das Auswahlwerkzeug benutze und hierbei das Bild vergrößere oder auch verkleinere, dass das Bild dann immer „Springt“? Beim verschieben des Bildes habe ich das Problem nicht. Hier lässt sich das Bild sauber und ruhig hin und her bewegen. Ich hoffe jemand kann mein Problem teilen und mir Hilfestellung geben. I can't open RAF files from this camera in Elements 2023.  I have the Camera Raw plug-in installed, but it is version 14.4. Adobe cameras support chart says I need version 14.5, how do I get that?  Updates in my Elements is greyed out which I assume means it is all up to date....

While there is a response to a similar issue on the forum, it did not help my issue.I have a large collection of photos (50k) in PSE2022 that I have been using for over a year on my Windows10 desktop computer, with multiple disks.  Recently I added some photos to the collection and did some reorganising of the photos using PSE, then did a full backup.  When I next started Organizer I received the message that there was an error opening Catalog (see screenshot PSE Error 1).  I have three full backups on another disk.  The recovery did not work either (see screenshots PSE Error 2 and 3).  When I open Organizer now I get screenshot 4.I can find catalog.pse20db, but when I click on that I get screenshot PSE Error 5If I try to run Backup.tfy from my latest backup, I get PSE Error 5. If I try to run the earlier backups nothing happens.I really do not want to have to start again, so I'm desparate to find a solution to this problem.  I have no idea why it happened

Elements 2023 introduces a very advanced Location capability to assist folks who take snapshots on the road. BUT I have thousands of photos taken over almost 200 years which I have scanned but then must now add the location information.  From all over the world.   The old location tag system really works well.  Can I do somthiong like that in 23?  For instance in 22 I have continent tags and country tags and city/or region etc tags and address tags plus Family/Event/Vehicles etc etc.  After entering the photo in the system I could go the list of tags, pick the appropriate ones --tags --- or enter a new one, What to do in 23?  When I installed 23 it wiped out my list of tags apparently.  Sigh.  Might 23 be taught to work with user-added tags?  And NOT to destroy existing tags? 

I open PSE 2021> go to Photo Editor> click on Quick/Guided/Expert> Edit> Open in Camera Raw> click on a photo> the photo then overlays the editor. How do I get the photo to fit into the Q/G/E format so I can edit it?

Ciao a tutti, ho scaricato adobe photoshop elements 2023 tutto in inglese. Constatando che è un problema perchè il manuale che ho è scritto in italiano pertanto non riesco a capire quali voci di PSE corrispondono al manuale mettendomi in difficoltà nello studiare il software e nel lavorare sulle foto.Ho constatato che nelle preferenze le lingue sono: Inglese, francese, tedesco e cinese. E l'italiano che è la quarta lingua più parlata nel mondo nonchè la più bella in assoluto? Mah...Vorrei sapere come devo fare a impostarla in italiano?Grazie mille a chi mi aiuterà a risolvere il problema.Saluti a tutti.

Hallo,ich habe beim PSE - Organizer das Problem, dass die Gesichtserkenung nicht mehr sauber läuft. Sie zeigt nur noch wenige Bilder an. Beispiel: Auf etwa 2000 Bilder von Kinderfußball findet sie meinen Sohn 16 Mal. Beim Turnier davor noch auf 213 von 1250 Bildern...Zum Großteil sind das Serienbilder, da müsste die Software ihn 20 Mal direkt hintereinander erkennen. Tut sie aber nicht mehr.Hat da jemand einen Tipp?

I do many drafts of any given piece of art I make.  I send most of the drafts to the trash bin.  However, when I go into Organizer for anything, it shows empty thumbnails with a question mark on them.  I have been manually deleting them, but it is a chore.  Its there any EASY way to get rid of them?

Is it possible to copy the settings and adjustments you have done to one photograph and paste those settings into another photo edit?Can I 'Batch Convert' several photos at the same time with the same settings and adjustments?

I hope you can help me with the following problem to recover my photographs. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 to manage/edit photographs on my desktop computer. I imported some photographs from my external hard drive with out a problem, then decided to install the imported photographs into a separate folder. The problem I have is I cannot exit the new folder to access all my photographs in the organiser, (I hope this makes sense). I would appreciate your technical help in regaining access to all my photographs in adobe 14. Kind regards Alan Platts

Elements 13 was printing fine. Needed to print got thr following error message:"Because the default printrer could not be opened."I have a Canon Pixma 200. It was working fine. 1) I tried another jpg...nothing2) Did the preference reset routine in E13..no chage 3) Other apps print 4) used printer cable direct to PC, bypassing wifi...nada5) Reloaded printer driver....nope6) Reloaded Elements 13,,,,still noI suspect an E13 update might have done this...any help appreciated  

I have just started using Photoshop Elements 2023 Organizer and two controls have appeared alongside a couple of photos (see screenshot). One looks like a brush in a box and displays the words "Version Set' when hovered over. The other is a right pointing arrow with a bar to the left of it. This doesn't display any wording when hovered over but appears to duplicate the photo when clicked. Can anyone tell me what these two controls are used for?

I want to add the file name to the picture, so that when people look at the picture the file name is embedded into the picture.I have done some research on this top and have found some mention of tools that people have build to do this and indeed many different things I suppose. Im using PSE 10. Windows 7 Prof.  From what I understand, I cant build tools because my version eg Elements is not full blown. But if people have build something to do this I can then add it to my software and it will function for me.While in full, quick or even guided there appears to be an option under File/Automation Tools. This appears to be what I need. Can anyone tell me where this add on is and how to use it, I cant seem to find it and I really dont know if it will work with PSE 10. Many of the refrences I have seen seem to be for earlier version.Perhaps there is an easier way ?? Thanks

Hi! My Photoshop elements 2020 is freezing for 20-30s when pressing some menu button. This happens when I have started the program and opening something from top menus. I have tried usual things like clean install and so on but that doesn't help. Any clues how to get this problem fixed? Thanks in advance...

Is Elements 2022 compatible with MAC OS Ventura 13.0?

I've been using Photoshop since 1991 and just purchased Elements. I can't believe this program was okayed for release - it is quite possibly the worst version of Photoshop ever created. It's as if the developers decided to create a program that would be nothing but a frustration for people who use it. Not only does the tool box not undock from a 'workspace', the workspace is a dead weight atrocity, with tool options locked into a grey area that can't even be brought forward by clicking on it. So it sits there in the background like a useless block. Constraining images now automatically locks in and requires users to hold the shift key - or not, depending on how the program decides to respond to the command - creating another headache for users. Pasting into is now a complete nightmare as Elements pastes in on one layer instead of two and locks in the pasted image at a normal setting which can't be adjusted. Gone are features like rasterization and the warp option in the transform comma

I wanted to know here is there any possibility to Stable and hold the + icon which move when we color the subject?

I'm having some issues with the Updaters for PSE2023. It starts and gets to 3% but no further.Anyone experienced a similar issue?Any suggestions? Thanks.

After I installed Photoshop Elements 11 I started Organizer, and it started building a catalog. Before the catalog was completed I selected "stop" which interupted the process. So I have an incomplete catalog. Is there a way to complete the process or to start it over again?

Since updating to Elements 2023 (on IOS 11.7.1) from Elements 2020, I am having many issues. Mainly with the preview functions in "Skin Tones and Shadows and Highlights." Changes often cannot been seen unless you toggle the preview box a few times. I have rest the tools but the problem especially with Skintones is lagging or does not change at all. Very fraustrating as Elements 2020 was flawless. Contact Adobe support but no real resolve yet. Any ideas?

I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 14 which has always worked fine but suddenly it won't open at all and when I try to uninstall I get a message that it needs to be updated to work with my OS - I'm running monterey on a 2015 MacBook pro, intel, but haven't upgraded the OS recently. So, strange. Can I reinstall PE14 from somewhere? I'm perfectly happy with it. I tried installing 2023 but of course my serial number is no longer valid. And I can't reinstall from DVD since the MacBook doesn't have a dvd reader.I have had some problems recently changing my user name on the MacBook (which, I've now learnt, cannot easily be done...), I suspect there's path that's been lost and PE can't find whatever files it needs to launch.
