Photoshop Elements

I have just purchased an upgrade version of adobe elements and premiere for mac 2023. It seems to have downloaded and installed correctly but is very different from elements 9 my last version.  When I try to go into thenphoto editor the software comes back with try free download!  If I try premiere, which I dont need, it starts setting up asking for password. Is there a problem or am I doing something wrong? advice sort, thanks.

Hello, I have a photo album with six photos on black paper and comments on the paper in white crayon.Three of the photos have a red cast which I want to remove.I then want to place the modified photos back on the page.Currently I have scanned the page to a tiff file.How can I remove the three photos to modify them and keep the background with the OK photos and the comments so I can replace the modified photos once the red cast has been removedThanksMartin

This tool no longer works correctly, although everything else seems OK.Now when I select it and then click on an area in an image and drag all that happens is that a very small area is selected and then moves as I drag the cursor without the marquee changing size. It stays about 60px square.Has anyone a solution to this problem?Thanks.

Hi I've realised that when I'm searching for images by keywords in Elements Organizer 20, the keywords which I entered onto the image using Image Tags are searchable. However, the keywords I entered when in Editor/ File Info/ Basic are not. This means that my searches are incomplete. Up until now, I had thought that keywords entered by both methods were in the same database. I've keyworded 100s of images directly in File Info so now I'm looking for a way to search them or to transfer them easily into the searchable keyword area. As an example, I tested this today on one image. I entered "The Yards" through Image Tag and then "Covent Garden" through File Info. When I do a search only "The Yards" is found. When I search for "Covent Garden" it doesn't appear. Both keywords are on the metadata in File Info.Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Can I make a planar picture out of it? And how can I replace the sky?I would be very grateful for any suggestions!Norbert 

I importet 50 new photos into the photoshop organizer.  I looked at them and they looked great.  I do not know what I did but the photos now all say Offline?  When I click on them they are blurred.  I assume they are no longer on my hard drive?  Where might they be?

Hello All, When I am building an image with a blank border around it I hit Ctrl-N and set up a blank image large enough and then drag a smaller image over this, leaving space around. Yesterday, I was unable to do this -- the new image dialog does not accept any change. Similar happens if I accept that size and try to change it via menu option Image>Resize>Image Size. Does anyone have any thoughts on where I've gone astray? Thanks for any help. System is: Windows 7, 64                  PSE 8

Just bought Photoshop Elements 2023. None of the text effects are available. Unchecking the box at Preferences > Performance > Use Grphic Processor ... didn't work. Did a reboot of machine (Mac) -- that didn't help either. There is no "fx" on a text layer showing. Is this a bug in 2023 that needs fixing?  

Hello I'm currently trying to deactivate my Photoshop Elements 9 license to install it on my new computer. Everytime im trying to deactivate it I get an "Internet Error" with a link to a connection faq.I tried everything and made sure there are no issues with my firewall, proxies, ... nothing helped. Deactivating my Adobe Premiere Elements on the other hand is working without problems. Thanks.

I have used PSE for many years and am currently using PSE 2020 on a Windows 10 PC. During migrations and in configuring OneDrive I have made a number of mistakes in how I have organised files and the PSE catalog and I am losing track of where files are stored - I haven't lost any files, yet, but I have come close to it and need to tidy things up before I do. Currently, everything is in one catalog which has almost 24,000 items, including many duplicates. The files are spread over an inconsistent file structure which is spread over my C: drive, the old drive from a previous version of Windows (E:) and in the cloud in OneDrive. (This situation is too confusing to explain here, but it might help to give you and idea about how confused I am. The interaction with OneDrive is particularly confusing to me just now and this is where I am most concerned about messing up so badly I lose data. I have had to restore from local backup once. I have Photoshop Elements 14 installed on my Windows 10 computer. I want to install it on another computer in a different part of my house.    I downloaded the installation .exe and began to install it. I was logged into my account and was asked the serial number of my Photoshop Elements14 program. The program began to install, but said that I had a start of the computer in sopension, so I should restart the computer and try again. I installed the program and tried to open it.    The second time, I got a message that said I already had the maximum number of copies installed.    I don't see any other copies on my account. Starting in ACR with 16bit selected then moving into the regular editing area and not sure how to save to a jpeg -- should I be changing setting  back to 8 bit or stay in 16 bit.  Where are my choices available in PS Elements 2022 to change this. Also do I need to save the huge PSD file or is the original raw file and XML adequate. Still figuring this out. Advice please.

After installing the updated version of PSE2023 (offered within the application), my most used catalog won't appear, won't open (was working fine, until the upgrade).     I did find the catalogue browsing in "custom location".  I tried to run the "convert" process, and it failed.  Please help!!

Hi, I just updated to 2023. From our last journey I have a lot of photos to which I wanted to add the locations. However, not possible, the map area remains dark grey, whatever place I enter it is not recognized. Bug or feature?

Guten Tag,Dialog mit Acer:Ich konnte die Speicherinegrität wieder einschalten und der PxHlpa64 ist nur noch als.old da.Aber photoshop 23 und auch 12 lässt sich nicht installieren. Er stüzt aber nicht mehr ab.Aufforderung: Neustart und nochmals probieren.nach einem Neustart kommt in der Installation die Meldung: Nachdem die Software am alten Acer unter win 7 (jetzt Win 10) läuft,muß sie auf dem neuen laufen,damit ich den alten weggeben kann.

I am very unhappy with Elements 2023 which I purchased in November.  When I try to launch Organizer, it hangs indefinitely.  I have opened tried numerous suggestions from this forum without success.  I am also unable to find any way to get direct support for this product I purchased.I would appreciate any advice on how to get answers on this problem because, as it is now, it is useless software. Please advise.Thanks,Bob SamsCorvallis, OR

The cursor is not visible in 'File Info' in Photoshop Elements 2023. It is running on a MacMini M1,  Ventura 13.3.1 Hopefully rectified in upcoming update.  

If I do an upgrade from PE18 to PE23, will my catalog from 18 work ok with 23 ?ORis it best to uninstall 18 and do a full clean install. Any advice greatful.

I have no problem getting into my Adobe account in a web browser. In fact I was able to modify my account by adding a backup email address. But Photoshop Elements will not open. It says "Sign in required." I enter the correct email address. I enter the correct password. I know it is correct because I can get into my account online through the browser. But as soon as I have entered the password, it simply returns me, without explanation, to the screen saying"Sign in required.Please sign in with your Adobe ID.  I have tried renaming SLCache amd SLStore in the system library Application Support folder. No results. MacOS Ventura 13.2.1, Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor 21.0, Safari 16.3.
