Photoshop Elements

I searched how to do this and read other posts but I do not have this "log out" or "deactivate" option that I can find. I bought my Photoshop Elements 2022 from the Microsoft store on my laptop. I now have this gaming computer to do my graphics on and want to transfer it to there. I looked all over in the program but do not find any way to sign out or deactivate so I can install on my new PC. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello.  I just purchased PSE 2023, and it consistently crashes during the latter part of installation and upon launch w/ the error log as attached.  Not sure why libraries would be missing.  I'm running MacOS 11.7, and I'd really prefer not to install MacOS 12. I had uninstalled a demo version of PSE 2020 prior to installing PSE 2023. I've also tried unistalling and re-installing PSE 2023.  Thanks in advance for any assistance.  

I recently bought Photoshop Elements 2023. Struggling to learn it I use Adobe´s help functions and Youtube tutorials. When opening up Elements I find menus and symbols partly different from those described i Adobe´s and Youtube´s tutorials. For example, up to the right there is no magnifying glass and no search bar where I could find the discovery panel. At the moment I am trying to remove the background of my photo. I have Elements 2022 on a PC upgraded to Windows 11 a month ago. Suddenly nothing works. When I right click on a photo and tell it to open with Elements-nothing happens. NOTHING. When I go into my programs and select Elements it presents the start screen for Elements 2023-I still have 2022 and don't even have a trial version of 2023. When I try to play around with it and tell it to open a workspace-nothing happens. I am stumped. 

I have Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements and have been using them without using the Organizer.  I want to start using Organizer, but I’m a bit overwhelmed about what my process should be. What I have been doing: moving photos/videos from my camera to my hard drive (solid state) and importing individual photos/videos into PSE. I sometimes move photos/videos around in folders, or rename files/folders or remove entirely from my PC to an external drive.  I’ve been doing all of this from File Explorer, rather than from within Organizer.  (I realize now this wasn’t smart, and have deleted all of the “Missing Files” in the Organizer catalog.)  I have a ton of questions about what to do next.  Here are a few of them: Am I correct in thinking I need to import directly from camera to PSE, building my folder structure within Organizer?How should I handle storing the raw photos? I just replaced my iMac by a Mac Mini with MacOS Monterey 12.6.3. I made a migration of my old HD (Big Sur) but PE won't open. I've got a message saying I should uninstall then reinstall the application (error:11). I uninstalled but now I cannot reinstall it because I don't have my serial number. Apparently I didn't register... So I have downloaded PE 2023. What do I need to do to activate it?

While doing full backup of photo library following error message recieved, 'Error encountered while writing file(s) E:\Volumes\my passport\Organizer\Photo Library Media\Masters\2012\11\06\20121106-151740\Img\Img_0382.Jpeg.The backup seems to have completed but I do not know for sure, is there any action I need to take please?

I am using a new version of Elements (2023) and I cannot import Adobe Acrpbat Documents. Is this no longer an option?

Hello, I've had Photoshop Elements for a while now and I keep having issues with it. It was fine at first but eventual I get an error of sorts. The first time Photoshop would take forever to load up, I'm taking up to an hour or more sometimes. I've had prblems with it running slow and now I kept getting multiple pop up every time I restarted my laptop telling me photoshop was having issues and I needed to delete and redownload Photoshop to fix them. I was reluctent to do this because Downloading the Program is a hassle that can take weeks to fix. It tells me an eirlier versoin was found on my laptop in a folder but that folder is empty.    On top of this I deleted this folder in an attempt to stop it but it tells me it's there anyway. It then only get to like 1-4% download before it will tell me there was an issue and to look up code 199 but code 199 doesn't exist aparently cause the site they lead me too doesn't have anything for it. I don't know what to do, I rely on P

I just bought Elements 2023. Assuming the options bar is the thing that runs across the bottom of the screen, I hit the Tool Options button but there is no Reset tool in that bar. I also tried right-clicking on the tool but nothing happened. Any idea how I can get rid of the annoying circle that results when I click the clone tool? Thank you..       Subject renamed.  Husband backed up photos in PSE 2020 and reinstalled into new Windows 11. However all my photos are displaying error Missing Files on all 16,000 photos.I have tried reconnecting the files, but no luck. What am I missing here.Help!

I've been using Photoshop Elements 2020 and recently got a new  computer. Organizer works fine, but when I try to open the Editor, it asks me to sign in. I enter my Adobe login and password, and it asks me to sign in . . . I tried changing the password, same result. I can't get past the sign-in page although I'm entering the correct login and new password.

I am trying to apply changes on a photo facial features. I make the adjustments and hit the "OK" button. but the changes dont take effect; ie; the photo is the same as before. The circle is around the face and the sliders adjust ok, but the changes dont save. Am I missing something?   Thanks

After reading posts about duplicate photo problems in organizer, my brain is spinning. So Ill take a chance in asking what might be a simple question. when Im in the slideshow screen and trying to rearrange photos for the slideshow I comer across duplicates. I remove them. When the slideshow is processed and I play back I find that many of the dupicate photos I removed are in the slideshow presentation. I then do it all over again and the same thing happens. What am I missing here? I have windows 10-pro. Thanks

When importing pictures, they don't show in Elements organizer, except as grey squares. See attached dump. Why, and how can I fix this?/Torsten

I recently had my computer quit on me. I had ALL my pics/vids backed up on separate drives, but, the Photoshop Elements 10 Catalog didn't seem to quite make it.I have gotten to a Windows Image Backup of the drive, where I found Elements Organizer Catalogs (and other Elements folders). I was able to Download my Elements 10, and Install it. I got to be able to see all my pics, which are still in the same folder setup, as before, Except they are Now on a Separate drive from the OS, and under Microsoft's Onedrive (ex: d:\onedrive\pictures\photos).Some of my Tags are now there, after an Import, but LOST most of the People/Places/Events tags. As well as the People Recognition. If I have access to my Original Elements files (including Catalog), where could I Find and Bring IN the data for Tags (people, places, events) and the Facial recognition data? Would it be as easy as just Copying and replacing New data files with Old ones from the Backup (System Image).I have LOTS of pictures with peopl

PSE 2023 crashes when changing the features of a square-brush. PSE 2018 on the same computer instead does not crash; runs perfectly.My hardware: iMac Retina 21.5 2017 / 16 GB RAM / macOS Monterey 12.6.3Please see also my article from March 06 2023 "Tiefen/Lichter" - still no good solution; also yet running perfectly on PSE 2018.  

In 2020 I bought Adobe Elements 2020 in the Microsoft store. It was installed onmy laptop but I only received the bill buit no serialnumber. This week I bought a new laptop and wanted to install Elements 2020 again but I can not find it the Microsoft store. I was looking at the Adobe webside but can not find it to download it they ask for a serial number.Can someone help please.With regards Hans.

I ingested a photo with a Create Date of 3/11/2023, and Organizer is setting its date to 1/1/1601.  I have attached the photo.  All embedded metadata viewed via exiftool looks correct.  Any ideas?

I recently purchased a copy of Adobe Elements 2022. I'm working on a Mac with Catalina 10.15.7. It seems to work okay while using, but when I save and close the file (as PSD), much of my formatting disappears. The fonts are completely wonky (line spacing, colors, sizes completely wrong). The drop shadow styling is completely gone as well. That's at least an hour of work gone. Have to redo this all over again. This is extremely aggravating. I'm sorry I spent money on this software.

Above is a screen shot of a photo I'm trying to remove text from. Originally I selected the Text Icon, drew a text box and entered text. Then saved photo. Presently, I require a copy of this photo unsigned. I made a copy of the original and have made several attempts to remove text. Nothing, I have tried seems to work. Using the AutoSelection tool, I have gotten the text to highlight, but still unable to edit or remove. Some of the answers I've seen in Help seem to be for a different version of Photoshop. Using a Windows PC.
