Photoshop Elements

Has anyone tried to connect directly to their onedrive account in the cloud as opposed to the sync'd one held locally? I am trying to do this as I no longer have space to hold a copy locally but trying to populate a catalog takes forever as one would expect - I have 500GB of pics. Anyone have any suggestions?

Suddenly my Photoshop will not open jpeg files. Once process is completed in LRC and exported as a jpeg file I get a blacked out file in Photoshop. If I try to Open as I get the above message.

I open the main app that offers Organizer, Photo Editor, Video Editor.  I choose Photo Editor and it opens, then it's not responding at all.  Waiting doesn't help.  I have to use Task Manager to stop the process.  Adobe supposedly fixed this a while back and it did work for a while but now it's useless again.  This is on Windows 10.  Version: 19044.2604   Please fix as I try to use this software regularly.  I tried to attach the .DMP file from Task Manager but Adobe won't accept it.  

I am at a loss. I have imported several thousand, probably 50,000 or more photos in the last several years and just ran into this issue. Trying to import any photo. The first thing I notice is that when I open Elements 18 it is showing me all the photos that are in my catalogs BUT when I go to "Get Files and Videos" and then "From Files and Folders" I select the photo I have in the file and it then says "1 Media item was imported" BUT I am not seeing the photo. In the past it usually shows up all by itself so I can work on it but now, for whatever reason, all my photos are showing up except the one I am trying to import. It is happening for any photo I try to import now. Just started today. I have shut the program down. I have rebooted my computer. I don't know what else to try. Any help will be much appreciated. This is a Windows 10 machine.

I have a new Dell PC Inspiron and newly purchased Photoshop Elements 2023.  I find multiple copies of previously downloded  .jpeg pics.  After deleting the copies including removing them from the hard disk.  they continue to come up as double and sometimes triple copies.  Is there a fix for this.  There 18 years worth of photos in the file.  Currently reporting over 12,800 items. There is ample space on the PC to store the photos.  Creating a backup that includes 2 or 3 unwanted copies makes no sense to me.Does anyone have an answer?

While using adobe photoshop ver. 22 I didn't have a problem zooming in while the cursor is on screen... for some reason I can no longer do it on ver.23? (I use the gestures on my touchpad to pinch zoom) Can I please have assistance?

Im running PSE 2023 on a Mac Studio Ventura OS and it does not work properly. Adobe helped me fix some of the issues. The program freezes up after running for a while and gives you the hand.  It wont space between words when journaling. It has not given any updates.  Adobe customer support told me "my mac studio was too powerful for PSE 2023 and I should run it on a Windows computer.  That answer sucks. .  WHEN IS ADOBE GOING TO FIX THE PROBLEM???????

I am using Elements Organizer 20.0.0.0 on a Mac Mini M1 with 8GB RAMMy catalogue does not have any of the Media-Analysis settings turned on. All off.The catalogue has about 100k images in it, but the thumbnails are constantly unreliable. Sometimes they are there, other times they are not. It hangs, its slow, it pretty awful.Here is the question:Will it work better if I create smaller catalogues? Maybe a catalogue per year? Kinda defeats the object of the software but its unusable at the moment. Is 100k just too big for this product?

I have come across a problem with PSE 2019 with the Organiser when using the Save Metadata to File option (Ctrl + W)My original photograph includes EXIF GPS data showing the location of the photograph.When I first import the photos into Organiser they contain Latitude and Longitude information in the EXIF data.I TAG the photos with relevant information in the organiser and then write the Tag information back to the file.The GPS Data that gets written back in the EXIF Metadata however gets truncated or corrupted.None of this data was changed during my editing, all I did was add several Keyword Tags.For example, my original photograph has Latitude          30, 58' 19.117813"Longitude     116, 12' 50.312519"     After writing the TAG metadata to the file using the Ctrl+W option I get the followingLatitude          30, 58' 19.000000"Longitude   &n

I searched how to do this and read other posts but I do not have this "log out" or "deactivate" option that I can find. I bought my Photoshop Elements 2022 from the Microsoft store on my laptop. I now have this gaming computer to do my graphics on and want to transfer it to there. I looked all over in the program but do not find any way to sign out or deactivate so I can install on my new PC. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello.  I just purchased PSE 2023, and it consistently crashes during the latter part of installation and upon launch w/ the error log as attached.  Not sure why libraries would be missing.  I'm running MacOS 11.7, and I'd really prefer not to install MacOS 12. I had uninstalled a demo version of PSE 2020 prior to installing PSE 2023. I've also tried unistalling and re-installing PSE 2023.  Thanks in advance for any assistance.  

I recently bought Photoshop Elements 2023. Struggling to learn it I use Adobe´s help functions and Youtube tutorials. When opening up Elements I find menus and symbols partly different from those described i Adobe´s and Youtube´s tutorials. For example, up to the right there is no magnifying glass and no search bar where I could find the discovery panel. At the moment I am trying to remove the background of my photo. I have Elements 2022 on a PC upgraded to Windows 11 a month ago. Suddenly nothing works. When I right click on a photo and tell it to open with Elements-nothing happens. NOTHING. When I go into my programs and select Elements it presents the start screen for Elements 2023-I still have 2022 and don't even have a trial version of 2023. When I try to play around with it and tell it to open a workspace-nothing happens. I am stumped. 

I have Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements and have been using them without using the Organizer.  I want to start using Organizer, but I’m a bit overwhelmed about what my process should be. What I have been doing: moving photos/videos from my camera to my hard drive (solid state) and importing individual photos/videos into PSE. I sometimes move photos/videos around in folders, or rename files/folders or remove entirely from my PC to an external drive.  I’ve been doing all of this from File Explorer, rather than from within Organizer.  (I realize now this wasn’t smart, and have deleted all of the “Missing Files” in the Organizer catalog.)  I have a ton of questions about what to do next.  Here are a few of them: Am I correct in thinking I need to import directly from camera to PSE, building my folder structure within Organizer?How should I handle storing the raw photos? I just replaced my iMac by a Mac Mini with MacOS Monterey 12.6.3. I made a migration of my old HD (Big Sur) but PE won't open. I've got a message saying I should uninstall then reinstall the application (error:11). I uninstalled but now I cannot reinstall it because I don't have my serial number. Apparently I didn't register... So I have downloaded PE 2023. What do I need to do to activate it?

While doing full backup of photo library following error message recieved, 'Error encountered while writing file(s) E:\Volumes\my passport\Organizer\Photo Library Media\Masters\2012\11\06\20121106-151740\Img\Img_0382.Jpeg.The backup seems to have completed but I do not know for sure, is there any action I need to take please?

I am using a new version of Elements (2023) and I cannot import Adobe Acrpbat Documents. Is this no longer an option?

Hello, I've had Photoshop Elements for a while now and I keep having issues with it. It was fine at first but eventual I get an error of sorts. The first time Photoshop would take forever to load up, I'm taking up to an hour or more sometimes. I've had prblems with it running slow and now I kept getting multiple pop up every time I restarted my laptop telling me photoshop was having issues and I needed to delete and redownload Photoshop to fix them. I was reluctent to do this because Downloading the Program is a hassle that can take weeks to fix. It tells me an eirlier versoin was found on my laptop in a folder but that folder is empty.    On top of this I deleted this folder in an attempt to stop it but it tells me it's there anyway. It then only get to like 1-4% download before it will tell me there was an issue and to look up code 199 but code 199 doesn't exist aparently cause the site they lead me too doesn't have anything for it. I don't know what to do, I rely on P

I just bought Elements 2023. Assuming the options bar is the thing that runs across the bottom of the screen, I hit the Tool Options button but there is no Reset tool in that bar. I also tried right-clicking on the tool but nothing happened. Any idea how I can get rid of the annoying circle that results when I click the clone tool? Thank you..       Subject renamed.
