Photoshop Elements

Using Photoshop Elements 2020 vrsn 18.0  OS Windows 11    When opening a new, blank file, then selecting document type, There are a slew of options. I would like to know if there is any method by which these verious selections could be organized either alphabetically or at the user's whim? I believe this would be a very useful option.   Looking forward to any constructive assistance in this.  

I just installed PSE and PE on my laptop. When I open either of them the size of the menu items/text across the top of the screen -- file, edit, image, enhance, etc. -- are way too small and are difficult to select by touch or a mouse (thought the 'submenu' items are a bit larger). Any thoughts on how to make them larger? I looked in View and in preferences within the program and didn't see anything. Perhaps there's something in the Windows 10 settings or the graphics settings for the laptop?Regards, David.  

Hello, I purchased Elements 2023 for my mac [Monterey]When I try and print photos I do not get to choose any paper type. I can only select size and crop,How and where do i select Luster, Glossy, etc? I do not know if it is relevant but i have a Canon TS9150 printer.It is crazy because if i install a dutch version on a windows computer it has more choices. Hopefully some one can help me out.Kind regardsM

Ever since I installed PSE 2021 I haven't been able to use quick or guided edits. (Works fine in PSE 2020.) When I launch photo editer, Expert view works fine. However when I click on Quick or Guided edits the selection panel launches (but appears very small), I'm not able to move the main selction panel (with the options for quick or guided edits), and none of the selections will launch. I've ignored it since I installed it since I generally just use Expert, but it should work! Any ideas?

I upgraded to a new gaming computer and want to bring my Photoshop Elements Organizer over from my old computer. I'm using Windows 11, i7 processor, and Elements 2023. The software loaded fine.I backed up Elements 12 from the old computer onto an extenal HD. I bought another extenal SSD HD (Crucial X8 2TB) that I wanted to use to restore the photo catalog to. I went to RESTORE, found the .tly file on the old computer, then selected the new X8 HD as my location to restore to. When I press RESTORE, I get 2 error messages:1. One or more folders already exist with the same name as the folders being retored. This is odd since my new HD has nothing on it, but I just click past this, and then get another error message...2. Error encountered while restoring catalog. It is recommended that you contact your disc drive manufacturer and upgrade to the latest available firmware for your specific disc drive before trying again. I looked on line at Crucial and there is no firmware upgrade. I can copy

Does anybody know if Photoshop Elements works NATIVELY on Apple M-2 Chip sets?      If so, what version?

After downloading Elements 2023 to my Mac and trying to open it from desktop, I get a message saying there was an error during installation. Just get the option to click "Done". Should I try reinstalling?

Guten Abend liebe Community,ich weiß nicht weiter, vor 2 Jahren habe ich mir für PSE 2021 die Seriennummer gekauft.Nun habe ich meinen PC gewechselt, der andere war defekt (Totalschaden), und bei Eingabe der Seriennummer heißt es die Seriennummer ist gesperrt.Die Seriennummer habe ich damals nicht unter meiner Adobe ID registriert.Kann mir jemand helfen?

Hi everybody, I work on a Mac with photoshop elements 2023 and want to hide some folders in my view treeview [want to keep that treeview], it concerns folders that are not holding pictures but link to. My Mac's HDD, movies and other USB found folders.I have searched but cannot find or do not understand how to do this,There must be a way that you can assign the folders you need in your organiser yourself right? Hopefully someone can en will help me out.GreetingsHenny PS English is not native to me but i try my best 🙂

Why is it PSE is the only program I have trouble with. All my pc programmes work perfectly installingans uninstalling and this is nothing new. I thought it would have been sorted by now considering how long I have had PSE.PSE 22 would not link or load from icons and not even from file manager.  So I removed PSE 22, rebooted and tried ti re-install. 49% - Quit/Continue/Quit Continue etc. I went back into pc and dleted anything and everything to do with Adobe. Rebooted, same problem. One folder containing PSE Organiser 2022 refuses to be deleted or uninstall.I use PSE a lot for images for my web sites. I am seriously annoyed. It always the same. I even tried a fresh download.

I found the following question on the forum, but did not see that it was answered. Does the "Backup Catalog" makes a backup of not only the Elements' "Catalog" but also the entire photo library that the Catalog points to? In other words, do I need to backup the original photos when I back up Photoshop Elements catalog or will Elements restore them?

A time machine backup has resulted in disconnected files.Have others had this problem and what is the process for reconnecting.Now I have valuable photographs that I cannot find.

Bonjourdepuis quelque temps je peux plus me servir de Photoshop element et premier element.de me dits que je doits acheter la licence, hors j'ai acheté ces logiciel il y a plusieurs années et ca marchait bien ! quand je veux les réhintaller avec la licence marquée sur la pochette du CD impossible????donc comme j'ai payé ces licence a vie et que Adobe ne répond pas je depose plainte a UFC que choisir et j'invite toute les personnes ayant ce probleme a faire pareil! 

Purchased PS Elements 2022 from Microsoft Store last year. My old laptop died a couple of days ago. I bought a new one. Downloaded Elements. It asked for my product key. Don't have it. I do have my original MS purchase receipt. Spent an hour chatting with MS rep. He said there's nothing they can do and I need to explain the situation to an Adobe rep. Can find nowhere where I can connect live with Adobe (other than virtual agent) to explain the situation. Regrettably I didn't registern the program in my Adobe account when I bought it. MS has emailed me confirming that I paid for the program and that there's nothing they can do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a problem adding new place names for my US photo locations. Each time I try to add a new city it creates another 'path' listing: for instance United States, Florida, Miami instead of simply inserting Miami to the current United States Florida listing. It doesn't make any sense to me. I don't want to have multiple United States entries under Places on the right side of the page for each new city or state that I add for a location. Has anyone else run into or dealt with this same problem? I wish I could describe it better. Any assistance in how I can resolve it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much. 

Photoshop would not launch on my new Macbook Air (I used a timemachine backup to reinstall everything). I decided to delete, and reinstall from my Adobe account. That works fine on my partner's older mac. On my macbook air, the download happens and seems fine. I get the elements logo and click on it. Which opens the usual 'do you want to download this app' warning. Then nothing. No installation. No progress bar or wheel. Nada. What can I do? I need to get this working urgently 😞 

I am rebuilding a crashed Windows 7 system 64 bit. Photoshop Elements 2018 is re-installed but I can't seem to activate it. This should be easy as it is a purchase, not a subscription.  Adobe website and Chat are no help as the product is no longer "supported". 

I recently bought a Macbook Air M2 2022. It is running Monterrey 12.5. I installed my time machine back up, and all seemed good. Until I tried to launch Photoshop elements (which I purchased and ran fine on the previous macbook pro). Every time I try, I get 'Adobe P Elements 2020 quit unexpectedly). I've tried running from the application finder and the same happens. I ran some trouble shooting suggested on another thread. Help!

I have paid for download of Elements2023, next was asked for my password (to start download  ) Password not accepted. Changed password - not accepted. I cannot proceed to download no matter how many times I change password-none accepted.  Where do I go from here ?

Hello, I had an older version of the APE and just purchased thi one so that I could open those old files, but its not allowing me to access the layers to update my proo. Any suggestions before I have to completly start over. I am a novice. Thank you!!

I've recently gotten PSE 15. Everytime I go to open something, usually a jpeg, it defaults to opening it in camera raw. How do I turn this feature off?
