Photoshop Elements

I am using a Mac with Photoshop elements 2023. I have two external drives. I Import files from Drive 2. They import fine, but when I want to use one, it is disconnected. When I display the information it says that the file is on Drive 1. I have created new catalogs and started from scratch several times. It is always the same. None of the files are located on Drive 1. Everything is on drive 2. I get media from drive 2 and it imports and the file information says it's on drive 1. I can't reconnect the files even if I browse to the location. 

HelloI recently re-installed this old version, works fine, but I have just noticed there is no Actions link in Window top menu!I have just re-installed - just in case - and still the same.It is 9.0.3 so, the patch is installed too.Unless there is no actions in this version, but I believe there was.Any help?The actions folder exist at:C:\Users\******\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\9.0\PresetsAlso set the Preference to 'a different folder', which is the best way to avoid using space and copy actions etc. in Adobe's natural folder.ThanksMPS I also did put some actions within Adobe's fodler - no change!WIndows 10 21H1

Hi, I've installed a freestanding version of PSE 2022 on a Windows 10 desktop.  I use PSE 2022 in Expert mode, create/edit indiviual images, and save them to a portable hard drive -- not anywhere in PSE itself.  What is PSE Auto Creations? What does it do, and how I can disable it if it isn't absolutely necessary for running PSE 2022? Also, three related questions: 1. I don't want any aspects of PSE running automatically at startup.  Under Task Manager's Startup tab, I see Adobe Updater Startup Utility, which has low startup impact. Can I disable AUSU, and will doing so prevent me from running or updating PSe at the time of my choosing? 2. Under Task Manager's Processes tab, I see Adobe Update Service (32 bit), which has very low power usage.  Does this process run automatically at startup?  Again, I want to minimize unnecessary processes and have agency over when and how I use them. 3. What is "AdobeIPCBroker.log" and how do I pre

....and for future editions of PSE.  As another user stated here, Adobe makes billions of dollars per year in profits and has the ability to do this if they make it a priority. I don't have much hope that this will happen, but it still needs to be said. ajk1962f

I am currently running PSE 13 on Windows 11 Pro, 64-bit.The web page https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/maximum-image-size-limits-photoshop.htmldescribes a registry hack to get around image size limits in the Organizer.  For a 64-bit Windows OS, it says to add a new dword toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\elements organizer\X.0\OrganizerWhen I navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe," I do not see "elements organizer."My only choices are Acrobat Reader, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe ARM, and Setup.Any thoughts will be appreciated.This may be related: A few months ago, I migrated from a Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit computer to the new one I am using now.I did not follow the correct steps to un-install and re-install PSE 13, and had to get help from Adobe Support.It was a very lengthy, difficult process for him to get me running again. 

Hallo,habe gerade unter macOS Maverick das neue Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 gekauft und es funktionierte alles einwandfrei.Jetzt hat mein Rechner das Update auf macOS Ventura durchgeführt und neben Safari, Mail, funktioniert auch Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 nicht mehr einwandfrei.Gibt es da demnächst ein Update, oder was kann ich da machen?Ist ärgerlich, weil ich gerade viel Geld dafür ausgegeben hatte.Vielen Dank und Grußjosch

Does anyone know if Photoshop Elements 2023 can be used so the saved content goes onto our computer hardrive, rather than having to pay for icloud storage ? I have never bothered with icloud and am unfamiliar, I always use the computer hardrive for storage as that is what it is for 

printing text for heat transfer but font isnt large enough ... how can i make font larger and keep it that way?

Magic Extractor is documented thus: Open the photo containing the object you want to extract.To limit what appears in the Magic Extractor dialog box, make a preliminary selection using the Oval or Rectangular selection tool.Choose Image > Magic Extractor.The Magic Extractor dialog box opens with the Foreground Brush tool selected by default. However after making my preliminary selection there is nothing on the menu (Image > Magic Extractor). Trying to add location to a photo in PSE 2019 Organizer. Goes nowhere.

Cannot update my Photoshop 2020, it says no application to support update, also all filters not working now (a little blue triangle in upper right corner). running Mac OS Big Sur 11.6. Can anyone help me?  

How do i fix this? 

I have photoshop elements 2019 and when I am looking up tutorials it looks different that the ones shown. I always see a black screen and tool bar. There is usally a lot more options on the tools bar. Do I need to change something in settings or what?

Hello Gals and Guys- I have Photoshop Elements 2021.  Lately when I open PS Elements with an item on the clipboard that I intend to paste into Photoshop Elements, when I open a new canvas I get the error -  Could not complete hte command because the affected area is empty or does not overlap the canvas.  It still works and I can still paste into PS Elements.  I've had PS Elements for for a while now and this has only been happening the last few monthsl so I'm wondering where the error is coming from and if it's possible to get rid of it?  Thanks for any help.

Help! I have Photoshop Elements 2020. I use my lasso tool to copy and paste, but suddenly, it won't move. I can't drag it anywhere with my mouse. Can anyone help? I use Windows 11. Thanks.

Hello,Across the top left corner is a logo on a transparent background (1200 x 1200, but the logo is much smaller than that). As well as the photo of the shoes I am selling (also 1200 x 1200), I want to paste the logo so it always appears in the same place for every product I sell.Using the selection tool, I copied the entire logo image. After choosing my shoes, I clicked on paste into selection to paste the entire image. However, my logo appears in the center of the image, not in a corner. Is there something I'm doing wrong? This is my first time using Photoshop, so I really appreciate any help you can give me!

it will not load even though I've re-installed it and closed my computer several times! it says it trying, see screeshot below, but then it times out. My 2023 premiere elements works fine. I had trouble with 2023 organizer, but when I got that working, photoshop elements stopped working and  refused to load. anyone tell me what's happening and how I can fix it? thanks so much!  

While working on a project I needed to stop for a while so I went to the file and clicked the "save as" option. I saved the project under this section and when I went back to retrieve the work and continue, it was no where to be found. What am I doing wrong.

Dear Community,  I was very excited when I found out about Elements because it seemed like exactly the piece of software I needed, but I'm hesitating to purchase after I noticed the newest versions do not offer any image interpolation options, not even in Expert mode. Being able to switch between Bicubic and Nearest Neighbor is crucial in certain types of work. Afaik, early versions of PE (3, 4 etc) offered this option. Obviously Photoshop has it, but full Photoshop is overpowered for my needs and way too expensive. Is nn gone for good from the contemporary versions of PE or is it still being considered as a potential addition in the future?

I would like to install the elements+ plugins for elements 2023.  I read somewhere, I believe in one of the photography magazine reviews that it tends to crash a lot and doesn't work that well with Nikon images.  Not sure if what I read it bogus or if there is some truth to it.Does anyone know anything about this?Thanks
