Photoshop Elements

Can anyone help please? The Adobe advisors cant apparently. I am using PE2020 on windows 10 . Ive uninstalled and reinstalled but have the same issue. It launches but doesnt open photo editor. Just says its searching for plug ins. I want to upgrade to PE2023 but loathe to if it doesnt work like this and nobody can help me. Thanks for any suggestions!

I have downloaded Elements 2020 on my Mac High Sierra, using the serial number on a DVD bought on Amazon in France.  The version I downloaded is in US English.My problem is that I cannot activate it.  I try to fill in my serial number but the numbers do not appear and I am asked for a Redemption code, which I simply do not have - perhaps Amazon in the US provides this code but French Amazon does not; only the Serial Number is given with the DVD.How can I activate the software?

I had a previous employee who spent an insane amount of time in Adobe Bridge loading in keywords for an image database we have. Is there a way to retrieve these keywords? I don't want to start from scratch.

Can anyone help me with Elements 2022, Filter-Distort-Wave not functioning, please?

I use an SD Card as a usual drive. On the SD Card is Onedrive with my private files. The original files are on the cloud (master). I've a local copy of all files. When I use the Photoshop Elements Organizer he creates in my windows photo library a folder "Adobe" to import files from SD Card. My library is saved on a SD Card together with all my files from OneDrive. I use the SD Card as storage extension for my limited SSD. So my local Onedrive and all my Windows libraries are on the SD Card. This creates a circle. Photoshop Organizer copies now my library (on the SD Card) in a sub-folder of my library on the same SD Card all files. More or less each file is duplicated. Since my library is original on Onedrive all the duplicated files are uploaded to my Onedrive too. So the import feature of the Organizer eats my local and cloud space  I use the SD Card because my SSD does not have sufficient space for files. I can't upgrade my SSD without to break my notebook (

Downloaded both software's to Windows 11. They are separate programmes but I understood that they were bundled together. Yet to try them. Can, for example, I open Premier Elements from Elements or vice versa. Also even though separate programmes, if I install my photo's on the Elements Organiser will they be available to both programmes.I hope the answers are such that one can open, say, Elements to edit images and then access to Premier for video editing, adding images etc. 

As the 'wizards' here have helped me in the past resolve the last issue, could someone here in the Community  kindly guide me as to how I can remove a Covid-19 face mask of a photograph so that only the face shows, e.g. a friend being presented with an award? Thanks in advance.

I am wondering if there is a way to apply a gradient  to an existing layer mask that already has a selection without deleting the selection. Maybe another gradient can be cliped to an existing layer mask? For example. 1- Make a duplicate layer, use a layer mask to select the background of the subject and blur it. The result is that all of the background will be blurred making the subject stand out. 2.If its possible,  apply a gradient to the  layer mask so that only distant objects will be very blurred and nearby objects less blurred. I know this can be done if just the background is copied to a separate layer using control + J.Then a gradient can be applied to a layer mask.  But what about the situation where the layer mask has the selection of the background? Applying a gradient will remove the selection of the background that is already on the layer mask.  Your advice would be appreciated. Kind regardsChris  

I have been running PSE version 11 for many years and am still quite happy it meets my needs. BUT I run on MACOS which changed from 32 bit architecture to 64 bit a few years ago and PSE11 is 32 bit.This is now the only application which prevents me upgrading to enjoy later MAC 64 bit OS.PSE upgrades are not cheap, but can anyone advise how to upgrade a basic PSE and what options I might have version and/or cost wise.  I am only an occasional amateur user.All ideas welcomed.

Hello, I bought photoshop elements 2020 in november 2019. I bought an (official) adobe box with a cd rom and a serial nummer on it. Now my computer crashed (I got a new motherboard)  and I want to install elements again on my pc,  which does not have a cd rom. If I now want to download elements 2020 from Adobe I have to fill in my serial number. I get the message that it is already in use. Which it is ofcourse not in reality. Anyone? thanks

Just uupgraded from PSE 2020 to PSE 2023.If the display resolution is set to 2560x1440 to match the monitor, the following problems occur:File, Edit, Find, View and Help do nothing when hovering the mouse pointer over them or clicking on them.Right click on photos or file directories do nothing. If the display  resolutioin is set to 1920x1440, then the PSE 2023 performs normally. This was never a problem with PSE 2020.

I'm looking to access my Adobe Organizer Elements 2021 on my Windows 10 desktop computer from my Android Pixel 6 Pro Phone.  I really only would like to browse photos from my phone as to  show people certain photos of interest.  Can anyone tell me the best way to accomplish this? I used to do this with Google photos but have since move most all of my Google photos into Elements.

TLDR: I want to avoid the dialog box asking me for confirmation upon deletion. I just got Photoshop Elements 2023 and am using Organizer to sort through thousands of images. I want to delete many images with extreme prejudice in a painless, efficient workflow. I've figured out things fairly well. The easiest way for me is to go "Full Screen" (i.e., the slideshow mode), and use the arrow keys to navigate from one image to the next, so that I can see each image with as much screen real estate as possible. When looking at an image, I can delete an image using the DELETE key, which is good. But, unfortunately, for each image I delete, it puts up a dialog box asking me for confirmation. To make matters worse, I also have to click on a checkbox to say that I also want Organizer to delete the image from the hard disk (rather than just Organizer's image index).I'm running this on a Mac running Ventura. Hello- I recently built a new computer and moved my secondary 😧 drive (where all data is stored) from the old PC to the new.  My intent was to also copy the Elements Organizer 2021 database into its proper location on the new PC (C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\My Catalog).  I've done all of these things, yet Elements Organizer does not recognize the database.  I've checked the Catalog Manager and it's set to "Catalogs Accessible to All Users".  I can create a test database and it shows up at "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\Test". How can I get Organizer to recognize the old database?

Weird problem just came up: I suddenly can't print from PSE Editor. Message is: "Error printing on ... . The printer couldn't print". The printer is then unusable till you manually delete the print job.The problem comes up only with PSE Editor (all OK with all other programs including even PSE Organizer), and only with this printer. And until now everything has been fine for > 3 years!PSE version is 2019 (and same thing happens with PSE 8.0). Printer is Lexmark CS827. PC is standard Dell desktop with Windows 10.This could be a PSE issue, or Windows, or Lexmark - I just can't figure it out. Maybe something dead stupid or simple. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hallo, ich habe keine Ahnung, warum diese Funktion nicht mehr funktioniert. Ich kann kein Rechteck mehr nutzen beim Auswahlrechteck (die SW macht immer einen Kreis oder etwas Ovales draus obwohl auch unten beim Expertenmodus das Rechteck aktiv ist) und daher kann ich auch nicht mehr die Funktion "Freistellen" nutzen. Hat jemand eine Idee, warum das nicht mehr funktioniert?

I am creating image files to send to an outside print house who have asked for .pdf files. I started with a png background image and added text.  I have saved the files with No Compression and again with High Quality. When they open the files they are not pdf. They tell me they are jpg and image quality is not great.What is going wrong? Can someone help please?

Hi, Desperate for Assistance!! Purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 from Amazon UK. I selected the PC version but I'm sure now I ended up with the MAC version. I can't return this on Amazon and it's the software isn't listed on my Adobe Account page. It gets worse, I can't see the previous versions of photoshop that I've bought and registered over the years, this include Photoshop Elements 13, 14 and 2020. I have done everthing to try and sort this but Amazon have no return facility for software and Adobe requires that you register your software in the downloading process. I am frozen out of any channels to communicate with either Amazon or Adobe. Can anybody help? (or has my money gone down the drain and there's no way back??) 

After downloading Elements 2023 many of my photos are upside down and sideways. How come?

Every so often, I move photos from my iPad (also have iPhone) to Organizer.  It is quite long-winded the way I do it, and wonder if there is a quick way of doing so.  I tend to use Google Photos which has social media that I take screenshots from, plus my iPhone pictures, to use on my website.   Thank you.

Hi is there any way/setting to auto save metadata? Use case.I'm adding place information to a lot of old photos. Now it would be so useful that the position was saved automatically to the photo if there was no gps entered already. If there were gps there could be a confirme check for these pictures. Same for adjusting create date etc.  Or is there anywhere to add a feature request? I'm happy with Photoshop Elements for my use, the organizer.... I could think of a thing or two that has room for improvement. 🙂

1.  When you do a backup, does it back up all catalogs or only the current one?2.  I just upgraded to PSE 2023 and want to transfer my existing catalogs into it.  I can't find any instructions online for how to do it?  Can someone help?  I'm clearly a novice at all this.  Thanks for your help.
