Photoshop Elements

I have just downloaded Photoshop Elements 2024 from my adobe account and installed it on my new MacBook Pro 16 2024 (M4). When I started PSE after installation, it asked me to install Rosetta 2, which I would like to avoid. In other forum posts people have reported that there is an apple silicon compatible version of PSE 2024 that does not require Rosetta. Looking at info for the app file, it is listed as being the apple silicon version.Can someone indicate to me where I might find the correct version that does not require rosetta ?  

I have used PSE (Photoshop Elements) over many years for reconfiguring music for large pages.  I have used the bitmap function in PSE to condense the resulting pdf files.  The last PSE version that actually successfully condensed a pdf file was PSE10 - typically a factor of almost 10x reduction in size.  I was hoping that Adobe would sustain this feature of bitmap in later versions, but once again, PDE 2025 does not condense pdf files, in some cases the bitmap function actually increases the pdf file size!.  Can someone at Adobe look into this "loss of function" of bitmap in the PSE package since PSE10?   I am attaching the original fine (filea) and subsequent PSE10 and PSE25 bitmap files.

Tried to move Adobe Photoshop 2011 from C drive to D drive, because I kept getting notice not suffient space on C drive.  Looked on line for ways to do it, used Cut and Paste, Cut from C drive to paste to D drive.  It starts to load, but freezes said I need to reload lic. on Photo Editor, but can not find that file anywhere.  My C drive is only 220GB, and only have 1 GB left on Dell XPS8930  Help!  Wife 

I just got the 2025 version of PE but I havent used Elements for 15 years and the 2025 version is quite different than the old version I used to use. Im stuck right now on this: I've scanned a number of small images in one scan. I need to be able to move each individual small image off the original scan and use that as a stand alone image. But I cant for the life of me remember how to do it. I've tried a number of different strategies but so far nothing works. Please help! CC

I wonder if there is a special version for Apple Silicon. The trial version of PSE 2024 requires Rosetta2 to be installed. I would not like to run software like that on the Mac.  

I can't resize the screen/desktop and its way too big. It just about covers my whole computer screen, so I have to keep moving it when working on anything. Anyone else have that problem?

I was promised a call from the Adobe Help Center last night. Never happened. I have a license for Photoshop Elements 2023. Unfortunaly the computer with the software crashed and I therefore cannot deactivate the license. I need to install it on a replacement computer but cannot seem to get help from Help Center. Can anyone please help. I'm getting desperate. Platform Windows 11 home. Thx. John 

I have Photoshop Elements 2025 and suddenly, every time I try to print, the program crashes. I can use CorelDraw and no problems printing from there. Other programs print fine also. I use Windows 11.

Is an update already available of Photoshop Elements version 26.0 (20250915) to version 26.1 and when?in 26.0 are a lot of problems. 

THIS OLD PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW:In PSE Camera Raw, "Toggle Visibility" ("eye" icon) is non-functional (greyed out) after "Edit" > "Auto". This has been a problem since after Camera Raw v. 15.5.5.0.1595 (PSE 2024).I first reported this Camera Raw problem in PSE 2024 and it has persisted thru PSE 2025 & 2026 (v. 17.3.1.227 & 17.5.0.2318). It is a problem with Camera Raw not Photoshop Elements Editor or Organizer. 

I would like to be able to download both adobe photoshop elements and premiere without installing creative cloud. I have worked with CC in the past and specifically bought elements because for these apps CC is not required. So i was unpleasantly surprised to find that upon downloading elements cc was installed too. I completely reset my computer just to get rid of CC. Now i would like to know if perhaps there is a way to download just the photoshop and premiere elements applications? Or perhaps adobe can provide such a link? I am seriously considering not using my adobe elements applications because of this issue, and i have found that installing the software and removing CC afterwards is not a solution due to the fact that CC is almost impossible to fully delete.  Can someone help me with this issue?

Hello folks, I'm looking for some help! I recently installed PSE 2022 on my desktop PC and it runs great. I decided to install it on my laptop also. The PSE 2022 web install fails at the 84% mark and displays this error message. This is what Error Code 184 shows me: When I restart my laptop and try the install again, it fails at the same point with the same message. I have several other Adobe programs installed on my laptop that ALL run great. They are Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop, Acrobat Pro DC, Photoshop v23.1, and PSE 2020.2. My laptop meets and exceeds the required specs for PSE 2022. Does Photoshop Elements 2022 work with Windows 11?  I am not upgrading an existing system, I have a new PC with Windows 11 and need to install PE 2022.  Thank you very much for any help.

So that my license doesn't disappear, can you please tell me the procedure for discontinuing my Photoshop Elements 2022 on my old laptop and adding it to my new laptop? What are the differences between signing out, uninstalling, and deactivation?

When Reconnecting Missing Files, if one cancells the process in progress, do the files Reconnected in the partial process get saved, or all all lost. It's taking a long time to process, hours upon hours. 

Recently retired. My company computer had Photoshop on it and had to leave it there. Now I need to do a personal project requiring Photoshop Elements. Probably won't use it but a couple times a year. Trying to save money buying older version. My computer is a Dell Inspiron  with 11th generation intel i7 processor and 16 GB of memory and 1TB drive. So, I've got more than enough power to run Elements.

Hi everyone, I apologise if this is an obvious question , I tried their online support bit who hadn't a clue what I was talking about and couldn't readily see a support email address to contact so this is my last resort !I was working with photoshop elements 2022 up on my mac up until the recent OS upgrade to Sonama which has caused a lot of problems with elements. A bit of research has revealed that my goose is likely cooked and that moving on to a higher version is the only option.  I had a look at the elements 2024 page and see that it is priced seperately as licence upgrade for 83 euro or buy outright for 102 euro. If it was possible to upgrade my current version to the new version then I would obviously do that instead of paying the more expensive price and so here is my question, is that what license upgrade means ? I cannot see it explained exactly what license upgrade means, is from 2022 to 2024 or is it from 2023 to 2024 only or does it mean something else ? Can anyo

Hi all, I am currently travelling and I am receiving an error message on Adobe Photoshop Elements as it is requesting a product key. As I am not at home I am unable to get the product key from the disc box. However, I do have proof that I purchased the physical disc. Any advice on how I am to receive a product key to use Photoshop? 

I've just upgraded from elements 2018 to 2025. I then converted my 2018 catalog. Then followed process (using drop down menu under tags) to copy tags info for 2018 to a folder, then to 2015. Result is that tags are visible in 2025, but no photos attached (but all the photos are there). Any help gratefully received.

I use PSE 2025.  All of a sudden my type went to all caps ... even though I typed in both cases.  I selected the T tool and tried to reset it, to no avail.  I tried to reset all tools and many were reset, but not the type tool.   [Moved from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) by moderator]
