Photoshop Elements

I'm primarily a Photoshop (Beta) and ACR user but for many years I've used the Photoshop Elements Organizer to catalog my large image collection.  For the last 3 years I've used the Organizer 2022 version.  It has mostly worked well, suits my needs and has a nice, compact screen layout.  Its UI is intuitive.  Once in a while it has some quirks that screw up a few entiries in the catalog, which take a trial and error approach to resolve, but so far I've had success restoring items.  I thought that if I upgraded to PSE 2025 maybe those problems would go away and that maybe performance would improve a little. Unfortunately it seems that I was wrong, unless I've totally missed something that should be obvious.  The UI has taken a step backwards, maybe a decade or more.  The use of display real estate is terrible.  What used to be nice, compact displays of the folder lists and tags now uses twice as much space per entry as they did in the 2022 ve

I bought elements 25 some days ago and all was well. After 3 days it suddenly stopped working. I have reeinstalled it but the result is the same, not working. Help please. Oddvar

I tried installing an old copy of Photoshop Elements 9 on my new Dell (Windows 11). Once done I was prompted to restart, but I was then unable to reboot and couldn't get past the Dell logo Having found similar posts on here I see I'm not the only one to have this problem. After several hours of troubleshooting I was able to regain access by reverting to the last repair point.Elements is now there in my apps, but when I try to open it just crashes. When I try and go through the uninstall process I get the message "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed". I've tried running Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, but that doesn't seem to have helped. I'm not really sure what to try next so would appreciate any guidance! Also, I know I should probably consider an upgrade, but is it possible to get Elements 9 working on Windows 11?

Hello and Thanks  What are the proper dimensins to post photo on facebook ? My photos which are reworked comicbook covers are getting cut off with initial post. . However when one is clicked on it is fully visable. Someone here suggested I drag a photo onto a standard sized clean page from photo bin to the working area. The working area suggested was 1200 px width and  1630  px high unless I got it wrong. Thanks  

Adobe Elements Organizer 2023 V. 21.0 in Windows 11 ProI have hundreds of file folders arranged by date under my root folder "Pictures 2" Example:  1997 09 Italy RomeFolders ranging from 1964 - 2025Currently I click and hold on the scroll bar and drag through the years.Is there a quicker more precise way to accomplish this? 

I'm struggling to open new images in raw on elements 23.If I move the SD card to my fuji x t20 - no problem however if I put the same SD card in my fuji  xe4 I am unable to get elements to recognise that they are on the card let alone download them. 

recently purchased new imac 24 to replace ancient 2012 imacdownloaded elements 25 ( old machine had elements 14 ) on free trial. transferred photos from old machine but disconnected new machine in error - wrong plug - rebooted but elements organiser will not load nowany suggestion please

Does PS Elements 2025 (windows 11 operating system) come with Camera Raw Facility, as my new camera raw files won't open in 2018 version PSE I have. I also have some LUTS which work with RAW, but haven't been able to use them yet, so it's the same fundamental question? Any help on this matter? Would be appreciated. Last of all, woulf you go for a Brand New Download version or accept the upgrade to 2018 Elements, any potential bugs or issues anyone aware of. Thanks G

Just installed 2025 (was on 2023). I have prepared lots of digital scrapbook pages & saved them as TIFF files because you can see a photo preview but not on a PSE file. I tried to open a TIFF file & got an error message that Camera Raw has to be installed first (even if the document was not prepared in Camera Raw). I installed it & the document opened. I then tried to open a 2nd TIFF file & got the same message. Adobe said no it only has to be installed once. But I cannot open it. I went back to 2023 version & it also said I had to install Camera Raw (it never said that before). I went to Help in the Editor & chose Install Camera Raw. A screen opened saying it would install it in Organizer. I don't use Organizer but I said OK. Can't open it in 2023 either.Can anyone help me?

HiI was thinking on purchasing Elements 2025 and wanted to ask whether it is possible to not use the AI features? Images that I edit for submission into competitions must not contain any pixels other than my own, so this rules out any generative AI. Can someone please explain whether AI can be disabled or avoided in Elements 2025. Thank you for your help

I purchased and installed Photoshop Elements 2024 on my new HP OmniBook 14 laptop with a SnapDragon X Elite chip, 16GB of RAM and running Windows 11.  The install went fine but when I tried to open the photo editor, the spinning asterick with the message "Loading Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace..." shows on the screen for about a minute then disappears without actually loading the program.  My understanding was that Photoshop Elements 2024 would run natively on an ARM64 Windows - what am I doing wrong?

HiHas anyone manage to install Photoshop Elements 17 on W11?I have tried everything that I can find here.I have changed computer and can not install a program that I have bought.

I have been using Photoshop Elements for years. I am currently on 2022. I have many images that are 'keep' images of events, people and places. I also have many images that are unimportant but I keep, such as images of things around the house that I use for reference as I'm working on projects or fixing something. I would like to keep these two collections separated in the Organizer in some fashion. Generally I organize my 'keep' images in folders by date: E:\My Pictures\<Year>\Year-Month Event. Many unimportant ones are intermixed in E:\My Pictures structure but also in D:\Users\<myuser>\Pictures. (relocated C:\Users\<myuser>\Pictures.) Both Pictures and My Pictures folders are listed in my Watched Folders. When I view All Media, this will intermix the two groups of images together in the organizer.  I mostly view images Sort by: Newest. Sort by Name doesn't display in a useful mannor in my collection. I use tags and albums for some things but many, ma

When I click on "Album" or search by "Keyword," Elements 2025 finds the photos but doesn't let me click on them and make updates to things like date, or keywords.  Is there a way to do this?  I don't want to have to keep scrolling through 20,000 pictures to find the one I want to update tags, date, etc. Thanks for your help!.

So I recently purchased the new photoshop elements 2024 since i wanted to upgrade my old photoshop elements 2021. I have the program installed on my laptop and all i needed to do was to use my redemption code to get the serial number, but i was running into an issue. Everytime i try to put in the code it kept saying oops! this code dosent seem to be active. Now i thought that the person at the register forgot to scan the product over at Best Buy, so i went back and told them my issue. They got me a new photoshop elements 2024 product and i watch them scanned it before i went off. Try again, same issue like before. I look at every page in the adobe website to see if anything would help but nothing seemed to work. Went on Youtube to see if anyone solved the redemption code issue, which nobody did. I tried conntacting the virtual support which didnt help at all. I looked in every nook and cranny and came to a dead end. 4 hours later of trying to solve my issue. Now im not sure if its beca

I am new to Tagging. I bought Elements 2020 or 21 and I like the organizer. But what I tag a photo then open it up in Bridge or Photoshop there is no Tag Info. I know I can Tag in Bridge and PS but the Elements Organizer helps me in other ways.What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do to Tag a photo and have it carry through to other software?Dave

I primarily use two catalogs in Photoshop Elements Organizer.  The purpose of one catalogs is for my family photos and the other is for photos and other material that I have collected over the years for my genealogy research.  Unfortunately, I have some photos that I have put in the family photos catalog that ideally would be better included in the genealogy catalog.I would really like an enhancement to the Organizer view more than one catalog at the same time and to easily move or copy the information for an item from one catalog to the other.  Currently, I have to write write down the information (metadata tags, etc.) for the photo in the one catalog, open the other catalog, import the item, and then manually enter the item information in the other catalog.  Being able to move or copy photo information from one catalog to another would be a great help!I had previously submitted this request to Adobe some years back, but it didn't get any traction.  I would re

Adobe Elements Organizer 2023 V. 21.0 in Windows 11 Pro Creating “New Folder” does not show up in “View as tree” or “View as list” but does show up when “Reveal in Explorer” is selected. See below: All created folders appear in Explorer but only two show up on “Grid”. I have tried “Refresh screen”, F4, “Refresh Thumbnail Cache”, “Catalog Optimization”,  “File” > “Manage Catalog”, > “Optimize” as well as “Repair”.After creating a folder I also save the changes by selecting File > Save Metadata to File.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 does not have an auto save option under edit/preferences 

Does anyone know how to get an online USER GUIDE for Photoshop Elements 2024 to be printed as an entire PDF file?https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop-elements/user-guide.htmlI mean, the entire online USER GUIDE as one whole document, not tab after tab, section after section, subsection after subscetion, to combine all those partial files into one PDF file in Acrobat Pro, which might take hours and hours to accomplish. Adobe clearly misses links on their website similar to this website: https://docs.izotope.com/ozone10/en/index.html where the customer can print the entire document to a PDF file with one click.

   i have been using the same Photoshop Elements 12, purchased long ago.    i no longer remember the Adobe ID# for the product, or where i may have 'safely' stashed it.    i still have the purchased PsE12 CD and the serial#.    My hp tower developed a 'boot loop', and the operating system needed to be replaced.    Files and extraneous systems were backed up, but some could not, and were lost, as was PsE12.    The PsE12 program downloaded completely and perfectly from the vintage CD into the newly replaced OS in the hp, and worked perfectly for several days.  Then Adobe jumped in and prompted that the old ID# be provided in order to allow PsE12 to continue to function as it just had been.    Absent providing to Adobe that ID#,  Adobe caused the program to cease functioning.     At 81 years old, and not used to whining and complaining, i don't get it.
