Photoshop Elements

A while ago I got my hands on a CD of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, from what little I've been able to find it seems dated, but other than that I haven't been able to find much about it. Is it still usable in the modern day? (Somewhat skeptical though) Or would I need to get my hands on an older computer to get it working? (The CD itself doesn't seem to read for me but I have been able to register it on my account if that changes anything)

.MOV Videos from my new iPhone 16 with IOS 18 will not play or show a thumbnail on Organizer 2021. They have no thumbnail on Windows File Explorer but will play on Photos, Media Player or any other Windows video app. I have tried all kinds of different camera settings on the iPhone including turning HDR OFF and reducing the frame rate and resolution, but nothing makes them work on Organizer. Is there any iPhone setting or Organizer/Windows update that will make this work?

If so, what are the quirks? If not, how may I upgrade? Thank you.

Hello , has anyone a good understanding of the way keywords and metadata are managed in PSE Organizer ? Here are my findings and questions: In PSE Organizer (24) , my keywords categories are:  dates, locations structured by sub categories ( I do not use the "location group" of PSE - no GPS data) and eventually multiple categories and subcategories ... Then come the PSE  "persons" category  (that I have organized in groups)  and last, the PSE "events" group..For a given photo, on the right hand side of the screen , all the selected tags come in the right order  (i.e. like the keyword list).However on the bottom of the screen, "events"  (if any) would come first, then"people", then date ,  location, and , last,  the other tags...Despite a different order, nothing very disturbing. I have being printing on a Canon  pro 200 through PSE 2023. Now it wont print, telling me that it cannot open the printer.The problem appears to be with PSE 2023 because I can print from the laptop theough other print options seperate to PSE 2023.  Any help would be great appreicatedTonyN

Hello,Few weeks ago I've had to replace my CPU/Motherboard. My PC sudently had crashed and didn't let me the time to log out Photoshop. As Photoshop was installed on my desktop and laptop, I was not able to re-install the application on my newly rebuilded PC..... (Too many licenses used error). In order to avoid such situation, I'm wondering if it is possible to log out the applications (both Photoshop et Premiere Element) when you close (quit). Thanks for your help. 

Help please. Certain guided programmes in Elements have stopped working, in particular the peek-through overlay. I have used this multiple times in the past with no problems. I have restarted my computer and reinstalled the software.  Any help or ideas appreciated.

PNG files won't open in Photoshop Elements 2025 Premier. I don't know what the issue is. I can save images as PNG but they will not open in PS Elements 2025. I'm running windows 11. Other programs on my PC will open them but not PS Elements.

I used to open raw images in Elements 2024, but now get a message that it requires GPU acceleration. I have been able to open raw files in the past and don't understand why I am unable to now. I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 card. I can still open raw files in Elements 2021! I am not a techie so don't understand all the directions on the Adobe website. I certainly don't want to upgrade further in case the problem continues plus I don't want a subscription. Any help will be appreciated.

I bought a version 10 of Photoshop Elements, Registration Date Dec 28, 2023, lifetime which is 32-bit.  The I can only download for 32-bit. Now that I bought a 64-bit computer, it does not work on it. Do you have any ideas on how I can make it work

My old computer died.  Bought a new one. Downloaded PSE 15 from my Adobe Account.  Can't open it because Adobe says I have "too many devices using that serial number."  In my Adobe Account it says I have "no devices activated". How can I deactivate a device if Adobe doesn't show me what devices it "thinks" I have activated??? Doesn't sound legal to me. .

I have adobe photoshop elements 13 that I am trying to move from my old computer to the new windows 11 computer but keep getting a message to login to adobe.  is there a work arond?  

I just installed Elements 25 on my MacbookPro (V. 15.4.1). When I go to download photos, it only offers the options 'from files and folders', 'in bulk' and 'from iphoto'. It doesn't offer 'from camera or card reader'. Is this normal?

Photoshop Elements 2022 very slow at startup (at least seven minutes). My hardware is enabled to support it. What can be done to solve this problem?

I bought a never-used Photoshop Element 12, along with Premiere Element 12.  DVDs for Mac and Windows came in sealed box with redemption code.  Used redemption code to obtain Serial #s for both apps, and used Windows DVD and serial numbers to install both apps on my laptop.  I already had an Adobe account, as I own a copy of Acrobat Pro.  I then used the serial numbers to register both Elements and Premiere Elements, and Adobe now lists both products as registered.  So far so good. While still signed into my Adobe account, I opened Elements 12 on my laptop.  A screen opened with a link and a message stating that I must sign into my Adobe account, and am required to register the product with 7 days or it will stop working.  (I was already signed in, and the product was already registered.)  I followed the link and signed in via password and 2FA.  When I did, I received a message stating that I'm signed in and can get back to where I left

Hey there,I've recently started using the latest version of Adobe Photoshop Elements.  I've figured out how to isolate my digital signature and add it to pictures and whatnot, but what I can't figure out for the life of me is how to darken it, make is a solid color, or change the color.  It looks very grainy, even when I've adjusted the contrast.  If someone has the patience to put up with my ignorance, I would love a little help.  Thanks so much in advance.

When I click import from Files/Folders I no longer get the dialog box opening.  Anyone else had this ?Dialogs open for scanner etc plus I can import using the tree panel but takes much longer.Been using on Win11 [23H5 I think] for 18 months without issue.  Elements/Organiser 24 download version.Is it something simple or a back up catalogs and re-install scenario ?!Thanks for any helpAdrian

 Hi there, I'm receiving the message below when I try to install PSE 2025.  I've tried installing from Downloads, Desktop and using different browsers.  I've removed all the cookies and caches and reinstalled Creative Cloud (after 2 days of it refusing to launch, I deleted every Adobe file on my PC, and voila! CC launched). I had PSE 2019 but removed it with all the CC issues.  Now that download also comes up with the message below. Has anyone got any ideas on fixing this?  It would be much appreciated.Vicki  

I have been using elements for many years, now with Elements 2022.  Today when I started Organier, my photos flashed for a split second and than totally disapeared.  All I am left with is a screen that states "No Media Available.  Click import to add media."  So where did my photos go and how do I get them back? Thank you.

My old computer crashed and I bought a new computer. How would I install Photoshop Elements 2022 to my  new computer electronically. I have the SKU and Code to install. 

I've bought Photoshop Elements-13 in November 2014 and I still have it's serial number. Today SSD-disc on my computer was formatted due to some problems with computer, and Windows was reinstalled. And now I can't reinstall Photoshop. I entered serial number, I agreed with licence, but Photoshop doesn't open and doesn't work. When I try to start Photoshop or try to open with it some picture, the programm offer to visit Adobe's web-site, to log-in there and then to agree with licence again and again. I use Photoshop Elements only at one additional computer.

I take a lot of animal photos.  sometime at night. their eyes are glowing, not red.  I have version 2021 and there is no  "perfect pet" option in Guided Mode - Special Edits.  thank you for your help.

I wanted to use Liquefy in PS Elements 2021. But all of the searches that tell me where it is in PS, its not there. For example Filter/Distort/liquefy its not there.Is there a replacement or am I missing somethings. I want to upturn a face so that it smile. And also to take a few pounds off. This version does not have a quick edit to do this automatically, and besides its a little on the side view so Im not sure it would work.

When I open a .NEF RAW file in Elements 2025 it only fills 1/4 of the window. I am on Windows 11 and a 4500x3000 monitor which I'm sure is a factor. I have spent over 3 hours in chat and in remote sessions with 4 different agents and it's only gotten worse. Program was reinstalled and GPU driver updated. See screenshot. I'm supposed to geta a call Friday from the Sr. Tech team. Anyone else had this issue?
