Photoshop Elements

I have used the 2021 version and i swear there was a mouse like icon to select stuff . I am using now move iconn but when i select a photo i cannot ctr c and control v . Is my installation bugged ? How can i have the default mouse pointer tool like in 2021 ?

Trying to use elements 2024. Adobe is trying to seel me elements 2025, with a giant obnoxous banner that has made it impossible to use elements 2024. Even trying to close down 2024 is impossible now without the task manager. How do I remove this banner so I can go back to using the product I paid for? 

I always use rectanuglar marquee, but it has suddenly switched to elliptcial and I cannot find how to change it back to rectangular. How do I do that?

I got to thinking:  What if I need to re download PSE 2025 for some reason?   It's not listed in my Adobe Products / Plans pages in my Adobe account. I did find the link below:  I assume it would be a simple matter of downloading, reinstalling, and signing in, sound about right?https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/photoshop-elements-downloads.html

I cannot really see the pink field created by the Object Removal brush since it is pink.  I would like it to be a non-red shade.  Blue would be great as would purple.   How do I change this for elements?  I have installed it to my macbook air

Id like to be able to continue using photoshop elements 12. Bought in 2013. In the last few days i've lost access to use it and a "pop up" screen says its no longer supported. I had a count down clock on the screen telling me to upgrade however Id simply like to keep what i have. Adobe online Chat keeps pushing subscription upgrades that id prefer not to do. Is there a way to keep using my old version 12 or do i have to buy a new version? I have the old serial number from the purchase but it wont allow me to reactivate it. Thanks in advance, Steven

I can search for the camera ( 7D) and for tagged photos (Greys Court) separately, but what I want to do is to search the results of, say, the 7D search with a search for Greys Court ones. At the moment I seem to get results for one, say camera but as soon as I click on the tag for Greys Court in my list of tags it shows ALL with that tag, and vice versa. I can search within tag results for other tags, so do I have to tag photos with the Camera model as well?Hoping for a solution John

Because I want a permanent license and there is a guide from Muvipix, I want the 2024 version of Photoshop Elementes which is available for download on the Adobe site. The question is 'How much is the license key fee and how do I pay it?'

Hi,Ich bin Anfänger was Photoshop betrifft und konnte bisher die Dinge die ich machen wollte auch irgendwie hinbekommen, aber bei diesem Problem weiß ich einfach nicht wie ich da ran gehen soll, wenn ich nicht jeden Pixel einzeln färben möchte.Ich habe eine Art Piktogramm auf transparentem Grund, und möchte eine schmale Linie mittendrin Magenta färben. Leider färbt das Füllwerkzeug immer den gesamten Hintergrund. Zuerst war noch eine Lücke zum Hintergrund, diese meine ich aber geschlossen zu haben. Manuell diesen schmalen Bereich auswählen ist extrem schwierig, und es gibt bestimmt eine bessere Methode, ich hoffe ihr könnt mich erhellen.

How do I open Improver-BR.DNG? Michael

Since I tried to divide up files and create a new catalog  the organsier will not load up.  I get a message saying that an abnormal exit has been detected.  I uninstalled elements and reinstalled it and the problem perists even when I tried to create a brand new catalog.  I would be prepared to  unistall and start again if that would help.

Is there a fix to convert jfif files to jpeg?  Some images from the web are now downloading as jfif files andcannot be opened in Elements 15.  Thanks!

Have used PSE (Elements, not big PS) for many years, and version 2024 for many months with no problems. Yesterday, the mouse cursor disappeared in the Organizer. Moving the mouse still highlights menus, but the cursor is invisible. I've Googled the problem enought to know this is a frequent Adobe problem, and I've tried every suggested solution including re-installing the software from scratch. The only thing that makes a difference is pressing the CAPS-Lock key: that brings the cursor back for a few seconds, but then it disappears again no matter what else I do or don't do. Plus, pressing the CAPS-lock key sometimes makes the screen flicker or even go completely dark. Pressing it again brings it back usually. Mouse cursor is visible in ELements Editor, in big Photoshop, in Windows, etc. Only disappears in the Organizer. This is incredibly frustrating for a tool that I use almost daily. Anybody have any other ideas?

Hello,I had a picture on the screen to look at. Suddenly I only had a white screen with the rotating wheel. Since then I can no longer get into Photoshop Elements 19 and keep getting the white screen. I use PC Microsoft Windows 11 and I am a normal, average user.Who can help me here? Is there any experience to solve my problem?Many thanks for any suggestions for finding a solution.With kind regardsPierre

Hi!Elements can import images from watched folders,but my program are also importing images from other folders(that I earlier have imported from manually).Can I turn off this auto-import?/ Marcus

I am still using PSE14 Organizer to add tags to my photos metadata.  There is a face recognition feature that identifies the faces.  Is there a way to combine these 2 features by allowing the names of the recognized faces to be added to the media and then saved to the metadata?  This was available in Picasa 😞

Running 2023 on latest version of Windows 11. I lost my ability to save as or open webp images after resetting preferences. I have downloaded the latest, version-compatible 64 bit plugin to the proper plugin folder (/Photoshop Elements 2023/plug-ins). I have no other Photoshop plug-ins that may be conflicting, and have only 1 copy of the webp plugin. I have re-opened PSE many times. In preferences/plugins, the folder listed is the same plugin folder my webp file is in. And in Help/about plugin, 2 are listed, none of which exist on my hard drive. The webp plugin is not listed. I just have nothing left to try. Maybe I should reinstall  elements. I'd appreciate any help. Thank you!

Recently I noticed that ALL images dated earlier than 20240530have (or at least display) a 5 star ratingmost were previously blank rating20,000++ images and videosI don't want to overwrite every image to blank rating because 1,000 or so are actually rated

I'm trying to type text in the shape of a heart.  I have followed the tutorial by creating the shape and then selecting the text tool, making sure I am on the horizontal type tool.  When I hover over the shape (i am on the shape layer in the layer palette) I do not get the cursor with the circle.  outside of the shape I have the cursor wit the box,  on the edge of the shape I get the cursor with the squiggly line, but it won't give me the circle to enable me to type in the shape of the heart.  any suggestions?thanks in advance!

I purchased and registered PSE 2023 in August 2023. Recently I've been going through immumerable futile steps to re-install the WebP plugin, which up until recently worked fine. Still, Elements (even after reinstallation) doesn't recognize the plugin at all. After many attempts to fix this problem, I just got a noticefrom Adobe.Tech that " No, it's because Windows 11 is not supported with our older version of the software. PSE 2024 comes with 4 years of warranty and supported." So if I upgrade to 2024 (or 25), will I lose the balance remaining on my PSE 2023 3-year license? ANd does it make any sense not to just skip to 2025, if my paid licence isn't going to be honored anyway? I need to be able to use webp. Thanks, Laurie

I am running Photoshop Elements 2024, v.2024.0(2024321.Git.master.597671b)x64.  I just installed Adobe DNG Converter 2024, v.17.0.0.2043 and used it to convert a single trial Fuji .RAF file.  Everytime I attempt to open the resulting .DNG file, Elements 2024 crashes and simply shuts down.  I have even tried using Windows File Explorer to look at the file properties of this resulting .DNG file and it causes File Explorer to immediately shut down.  Before I uninstall the DNG Converter, I would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this problem.
