Photoshop Elements

I have reinstalled Photoshop Elements 2020 on a new desktop machine  (Windows 11) via the original DVDs. On my old machine (Windows 10) I installed an ACR update via Camera Raw plugin instructions which showed blown highlights locally, rather than the global indicator arrows at the top of the image. Please advise the technique and ACR issue number suitable to regain the viewing of local highlights/shadows, as this is far more useful than the global indication.Many thanks for your assistance. 

I moved my catalogs to a new computer recently. I am confused about a couple of things and would appreciate guidance. My main catalog has thousands of photos but the photos are located on multiple drives, incuding my c drive which is getting full. I would like this catalog to be in the default location on the C drive and accessible to all users, but I want to relocate all of the photos from the various drives into one location on an external raid drive. (Then I intend do delete the photos from the C drive to create more space.) I have made a back up and I am ready to proceed. I am confused about how to use restore and get the catalog in one location on the C drive but then to get all the photos on the external drive.  Please help. thanks

Hello everyone, my first time here and not sure if it's the right forum for my question but here goes....... Like many others, I've been forced to buy a new computer so that I can run W11. Previously I used W10 and had Elements 12 installed and doing everything that I needed it to do without a problem. Naturally, I tried to download it onto my new machine and, inevitably it seems, crashed the entire thing.Having sorted that particular problem I'm now wondering what is the best alternative from the current PS offering and I see that Elements 2022 through 2024 are W11 compatible. I'm hoping that one or all of these, particularly 2024, will be a version that does everything that Elements 12 could do and maybe a few more things. Apart from doing all the usual things to manipulate my DSLR pictures, of particular importance to me is the ability to read the RGB colours of a particular part of the image. The Hue, saturation and Brightness values are also of importance. AAs you'll all know

Organizer Preferences: Camera or Card Reader "Save Files In:" Changed parameter from default (/User/username/Pictures) to another location.  Seems to work but when I go back into parameters it is returned to the default.  Tried multiple times and rebooted.  Running macOS 15.0.1.   Anyone have this issue and know a fix.  Maybe Adobe can help.

Bonjour,je viens de faire l'acquisition de l'édition 2024 (photoshop et premiere).A la fin de l'installation, j'ai pu avoir accès aux produits.Mais depuis, quand je veux m'en servir, ils se lancent (apparaît dans le gestionnaire des tâches avec une consommation de 27% du processeur dans "processus en arrière plan") mais ils restent inaccessibles (pas afficher à l'écran et ne sont pas dans les "applications en cours d'exécution").J'ai toujours accès à l'édition 2023 qui elle une fois lancée, ne consomme plus de CPU, juste la mémoire alors que l'édition 2024 reste "en arrère plan" avec une conso.J'ai pu pourtant accéder aux environnements de l'édition 2024, une fois juste après leur installation.Quelqu'un a-t-il eu ce problème ? I've been using Photoshop since version 2.5, but now that I've been retired for 25 years, and they rent Photoshop I've tried switching to Photoshop Element I think the latest version I have it something like 2022. I've been using a 4K monitor, for quite a while now, at least through the last two versions of Elements. The problem is that the UI won't accommodate 4K monitors.  So I'm still looking for something that does support my set-up.  I've used some free editors, and they work for the UI, but I've used Photoshop for over 20 years, I don't what to have to learn how to do everything over again.  I'm 86, I'm set in my ways.I'm willing to go back to the real version of Photoshop if I have to, but I'd like to use Element if I can do it without having to change the resolution on my PC every time just to make it usable. So that's what I'm asking. Can I run Photoshop Elements on my computer and have a readable UI that either doesn't have text and symbols

I have a sectoon ofs comic page I wish to recolor. In order to do that I wish to preserve the line art and then to re add the color. What are the steps to removing existing color alone ? Thanks. I am using Elements 2023 but also have both 2024 and 2025. Thanks

Is there  a way to have the captions included when upgrading from Elements 2023 to Elements 2025? They are missing. 

I suddenly have this blue banner (attached) overlaying my open layers images at the bottom of the PSE screen so I can't see or move #4. How can I get rid of it so I can work normally?

Yesterday and today I tried to use the Adobe stock intergration within PSE 2024 for the first time. I am logged in and my copy of PSE 2024 is fully activated. I get the error message that says, "We're unable to process your request, please try later"  Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to enable a setting somewhere? Is the website just too busy or have Adobe disabled this feature? Kind regardsChris

In  FB group someone was asking about a limit of using Adobe Stock assets in pse.  In particular they were under the impression there was a limit of downloads for each 24 hour period.I just added 11 adobe stock assets to 11 different canvas's and had no issues. Is there a limit of how many free Adobe Stock assets a PSE user can use? 

After starting Photoshop Elements 24 (WIndows), it starts-up and then the program is not responding to any mouse action for about 20 seconds. I reinstalled elements and nothing changed. I used an other Windows accounts and the problem is the same. Motherboard MSI MAG b550M Mortar, Ryzen 7 5800X, 2x SSD 970EVO plus, 1x WD 6TB, GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2x 12G OC.

Gerade im Saturn die neue Box mit Version 2025 gesehen.(89€)Hinten steht sinngemäß, dass die Software eine 3 Jahres Lizenz beinhaltet und nach Ablauf nicht verlängerbar ist. Heißt das auch diese Verbraucher Edition nicht mehr unbegrenzt läuft, bzw. es keine Version mehr mit unbegrenzter Laufzeit gibt?  

Sometime in the last week the "Save for Web" option doesn't offer any version except JPG  medium.   It used to allow for various PNG and GIF versions, even different JPG high and low.  Even if I save it PNG first,  the save for options do not include PNG.  See example below. Image has been blurred to hide client information.Changing image size, mode, and profile do not solve the problem.Has anyone had this problem and what is the solution?Thank you,ELB

I'm currently using Photoshop Elements and I'm trying to straighten and crop ca. 2000 photos which have been digitized from paper copies by placing under a DSLR. I would like to make sure I haven't missed a method/solution. So, am I correct with the assumption that I have these options: Automatically straighten and crop one by one in PSE editor (no batch editing in PSE)Automatically edit in a batch in PSE editor with Elements+Automatically edit in a batch in free trial of Photoshop (or Lightroom?).Create an action script in free trial of Photoshop and import that to PSE and run it in Elements+ I have already tried method #2. I have installed Photoshop 2021 on a new computer, however the tag information is not showing on the right hand side (which I am looking to correct). The pictures displayed in grid view shows being tagged. The paragraph information is available when viewing an individual picture.The "My Folders" tree on the left side appears to be intact. Catalog Location - new computer: C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\My CatalogCatalog Location - old computer: C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\My Catalog 1\I tried to changing the Catalog name on the new computer to that of the old, however it did not work.Photo files are stored on the same removable drive (E).

Hello I am a very non techy person and work as an artist.  For many years I have scanned my artworks, usually four scans, into laptop and PS and basically followed a very basic format to allow Panorama Photomerge which was great for submitting to exhibitions etc.  I am working to a deadline and the previous laptop with old PS has died.  Now that we have to pay subscription I chose PS Elements thinking all I wanted to do was bring a large artwork together after scanning by merging images.  I bought the Elements program from Adobe direct and have tried and am spending too much time trying to get a decent result, the program looks very different to the PS one I had before and it seems a lesser quality result.What I would like to do is cancel this purchase and look at the PS subscription instead.However I'm not sure how to do that as I have asked on the chat icon and isn't able to answer my question.i assume I login and deactivate but how do I request a refund?  Th

Anyone know if theres a way or setting to change the way a new layer is added? New layers are only added above the selected layer but it would help a lot with my workflow if new layers could also be added below selected layer instead of only above. Am I alone in this?

I've got images small enough to fit PSE animate requirements (500x750), load and select them then save. The GIF appears with all images in it, but it just sits there on the first image; the user has to manually select subsequent images. What am I missing? I've attached the PSE view before clicking save, the GIF itself, and the way it appears on my screen (Mac OSX)...

What's the best training for learning how to use Photoshop Elements 2024 if you've never used this kind of software before? Manuals or Videos or In-person training? Specific recommendations will be much appreciated.

A user wrote me a Photoshop script that adds the dimensions of a photo at 300ppi to the bottom of a printout.
