Photoshop Elements

I have purchased a new copy of PE 2024 from Micro Center. I have an older computer with a Core i-5 3330 processor. PE 2024 editor will not open. Micro Center would not refund me but just said that it was a hardware issue & that I had to eat the $100.00. When click to open editor, I get an error message that says "ippiPyramidGetSize_L: The specified procedure cannot be found" What can be done to fix this?

I am currently trying to figure out which product might do what I need done, if any.  I have a picture that was taken on an iPhone 2nd gen SE.  The focus was on an object about arms length from the camera.  I am trying to figure out where the photo was taken and need to enhance the background to see if it somewhere familiar. I do not have experience with Adobe photo products and really don't want to purchase something that will be useless.  I am not clear on 2 things- 1 can this be done in Elements? 2 If I have no experience, will I be able to do it? Any help is appreciated. I have added the photo encase that helps

I successfully updated PSE 2024 and now have lost 70,000+ of organized and dated photos in the library!!!is there anyway to get this back??Windows 11 

I saw someone asking this question in 2018 but I don't think this is my fix. I'm running the Trial version of PE2024 on my mac. I created a stack of 20 photos. I can see the stack icon but I'd like to click on the icon and display the photos in the stack. I can't get it to work, is it doable?

Hello all,   I have been using Elements 8 since 2010 with Windows 7. I know both are antiques, but Elements 8 works perfect for me just fixing cosmetic issues for faces, as I am a Wedding Photographer. Yesterday I opened Elements 8 and everything worked fine until I clicked on the healing brush tool and took a sample of someones face and when I went to make the correction it did not work. Please help, is there just something I do not have clicked on at the top of the page? I tried turning off my computer and starting again from scratch, but that also did not work. I hope this is something simple, I even tried putting new batteries in my wire less key board. To summarize, it opens fine, I can control + and zoom in/out and all is fine, except this function.   Thanks, Mark        [Email removed by Moderator]

I have Elements 2021 and would like to know how to make the sample list displayed bigger.  The default likst is so small I can't begin to see it.  See Below for what I'm taking about.  Its been a while but I know my last version I could make the list  bigger.

Hi there.A couple of days a go, Elements 13 was working just fine. Then I had a Windows update , and now it's all [cursing removed]. I can open the program no problem, but am unable to do anything. When I first tried I got the following message  ...'Could not export the clipboard an unexpected end-of-file was encountered'....   Now it just sits and looks at me like it's punishing me for not upgrading! I don't need an upgrade. 13 is all I need (been using it since it came out with no problems), so would love to get it working again. I can click on any of the file, edit, etc. tabs, but nothing happens. I am unable to import any pictures or start a new file.    I've done all the obvious things - rebooted, ininstalled and re-installed, and uttered a few cusses. None of the above helped. I would appreciate any and all help. Please consider I'm not a techy person, so simple lingo would also be appreciated.   Thank  you

How can i verify Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 is up to date?

Every time I try to download Elements 2024 onto my PC the download fails and I keep getting a 183 code.I am in the UK but the download installer keeps giving me North American English in the drop down list with no option for UK english.It seems to think I am not in the UK.I get a dialogue box which asks me if I want to move to the UK site despite everything I can find stating my address is in the UK. Moving to the UK site makes no difference.I have tried to download several times but to no avail.What do I do now?Many thanks in advance.EnnGee

I've learned a lot over many years from this discussion, so thanks! But an issue has eluded me. If it helps, I'm using PSE 2024 on a Windows 11 Home machine, 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12400, 12 GB RAM, 64 bit operating system. Earlier version of PSE were on this computer and updated, but now deleted. Lately, when I've gone to "Get Photos and Videos from Files and Folders" within PSE, it often freezes up. Sometimes if I'm trying to get more than about 800 images. Often seems to get stuck on a specific file. Eventually, everything freezes, error report to Adobe, shuts down, and the computer acts so oddlly I have to restart Windows to get things working again. This morning it got stuck on "D:/jim/PSE Test.IMG_4019_HEVC.MOV" for about an hour,. Then all the bad things mentioned above happened. Got an error message in a box: "The exception unknown softeware exception (0xe0434352) occured in the application at location 0x00007FFC37F3F39C" (yes, exactly that with repeated words). Closed tha

How do I find serial Number for Elements 2024 purchased from Microsoft store.

My hard drive with PSE 14 failed earlier this year.  I reinstalled the program  from my account and restored the catalogue.  However out of 45000 images,  only 8000 images appear to have retained their tags. Can anyone explain why. I need hardly add that my complex tree was lost too. None of this happened  when I upgraded from a much earlier version to PSE14. I have now upgraded to PSE 24 hoping that somehow the information is still somewhere in the catalogue, and that PSE 24 would make a better job of it. Sadly, not.I don't suppose the information is recoverable. Adobe prompts one to backup the files, but only now do I discover that I should have backed up the tags separately. Adobe never prompts one to do this which is a major fault of the program. After all, backing up  the catalogue is a minor issue  - it's easy to import the original files again -  compared with the loss of the filing system which is catastrophic.Because my ta

Stops respondint when i browse faces

Photoshop Elements 2022 won't open Sony A6700 raw files but the list of cameras says it is compatible. I had no problem with my Sony A6000 raw files. What is wrong? 

 I simply directly opened Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 Editor — it opens "blank" in Expert Mode — and upon selecting the text tool, the program crashes within seven seconds. Otherwise, the program runs without issue. I can choose ANY other tool and no crashing. Upon selecting the text tool, it crashes again. It did allow me enough time to reset the tool as you prescribed, but then crashed again within the 6 or 7 seconds allowed following the text tool selection. I tried to capture it with a screenshot — command-shift-3 — but it wouldn't capture the "pointer". Upon selecting the text tool, the "pause/thinking" pointer behavior appears briefly and then disappears, after which the program then crashes.   I then deleted the preferences as prescribed — the program did not yet even create Adobe Photoshop Elements 18 Paths com.adobe.Elements Organizer.18.plist   Following the crash, out of your list — only Adobe Photoshop Elements 18 Settings [folder] and com.adobe.P

Has anyone figured out how to stop pop-ups of Elements New Tricks and Tips on PSE 2023?I'm using Windows 11.I've unchecked everything in Edit > Preferences > Adobe Partners Services. That does nothing to my problem.Anyone succeed in stopping pop-ups of Elements New Tricks and Tips on PSE 2023?

I have the trial version of PSE Ver 24 on a Mac Mini M1 running Sonoma 14.5.  I can load all my photos on the grid and select one. It loads a 10" x 13" complete photo. I'd like to zoom in, you'd think the zoom slider on the bottom would do something but it's already all the way to the right. Is there any way to zoom in in Organizer or do I have to use an Editor.

Please can someone explain how to justify text in PS Elements 2024. After the text is selected, I can see align left, centre and right, but not justify. Is it hidden somewhere? Kind regardsChris.  

Hi, so it took me a long time to learn photoshop and use it in my photography business. Now yesterday, I wanted to clone a part of an image and move it to another part and when I did it, it was blurry and it was surely not a clone of what I tried to clone. You could tell the difference, something that has never happened before. Once that failed, I tried the object selection tool after creating a layer to paste it into the image I was working on. That was different too and did not work per usual. What is going on???? Help. This blows! And is there an earlier version I can revert to that is the one I'm used to???? Thanks in advance.
