Premiere (Beta)

Hi, Premiere Pro Beta is now 22.0 and it opens with the regular welcome screen that we are all familiar with. Does this mean we're very close to an official release of Premiere Pro? Please let the answer be yes 😉 Thanks.

How do you scale and crop on the new export? I often scale to make widescreen dvds full frame.

Hi, I have been using the autotranscribe fuction on a real-world project and it's been a revelation to my production team and become part of our pipeline for creating transcripts for editors and directors. However I have run into problem and I'm not sure whether it's related to my usage or in the back-end (in the cloud), but it's throwing up 'Quota is insufficient to start transcription (2488/494) when I go to upload the timeline? Feature request: If this is because I have uploaded too many files, would it be possible to have running count of available uploads or the ability to cancel / delete projects if there is more than one timeline? Cheers- Simon 

Hello,For the new version of Premiere Pro Beta, I have a new feature request.Actually, to move an element and put it between two elements in the timeline,  I am obliged to select an element and make "Control key", and move my element, then put it between two elements.I would like an easy way to do this, like in Premiere Rush, where if I move an element between two elements, it insert it automatically between these two elements. 

As a developer is there away to offer locations to our platform in the export location where YouTube and Twitter ect have them? and offer a custom form for settings. If it is possible is there any documentation for this?

When I hit CTRL+M and send to media encoder, Premiere will switch to a random other sequence instead of returning to the sequence I was at. It does get a bit annoying over time. Hope this can be fixed soon.  

First, Kudos, love the new improvements.But after the initial import of video files that create a sequence, I tried to import graphics that I would be using. It created a default second "Sequence 1".I believe this should not happen as it creates confusion having two "Sequence 1". Also opening a second project I tried to drag elements from an earlier project from that timeline into the new timeline and had difficulty doing so. I had to copy and paste instead.I think these are two bugs.But keep up the great work. Best Al 

I am testing the new import screen and I think it's awesome. The only thing I'm missing is the ability to import image sequences. PNG and TIFF sequences are a very important part of my workflow, it gives me the best quality out of my Blender renders.  I also saw on this forum response from someone on the team saying that a "Select All" function was added but when I try it on my Windows 10 machine, Ctrl + A doesn't do anything.  Thank you so much and congrats, you are doing an amazing job guys.  Juan

The new import does not open folders containing old format such as dv avi. Workarea stays empty. Works perfectly on modern formats.

Hi - would love to see two updates to Libraries; 1) adding audio files and 2) bulk add files to sequence (adding more than one file to a project at the same time rather than having to go back and forth adding additional assets)? 

Hi, just wondering if there's a way to hide to new header bar.  I'm working off a laptop at the moment and trying to maximize available space.

Switching to the audio workspace, the new import and export screen just bugs out and doesn't fit the screen. Swtiching to editing workspace works just fine.

It looks like the delete button only works on custom presets. there should be a way to ignore all system presets, I've never in my life asked for these things to default to Adobe DCI 4k for my prores, but they still do.

Rename Destination doesn't work. The box disappears when you attempt.For those of us who will never need anything but "Media File", it would be nice if default destinations were deletable and reorderable. And all destinations could be categorizable by folders.

When I change the sequence names in the project window, the names in the Edit window and the Export file name don't update.  I have to copy and paste to make it export something other than Sequence 1.Also the Program monitor window frequently quits and goes to black while I'm editing captions.

Hi I have seen online people using the speech to text transcription to auto create captions on Beta for premiere pro 2021, when I downloaded it, I am still getting a message saying 'speech to text transcription is coming soon to PP' and says to join the early access program.  I have applied today, anyone know how quickly that might happne?  I am full CC subscriber.   I have contaced adobe on chat but they said to ask the forum!  Any help would be very appreciated as I have a number of short films to make captions for urgently. Thanks  

Hello I'd like to report that PremierePro Beta (MacMini M1) playback prefs; there are not appearance of Black Magic playback monitor (version 12 installed), I'm not sure what the fault is : Adobe or BMD   thanks in advance arek   [Moderator note: moved to appropriate forum.]

I can see the ability to save it once i've changed a standard inbuilt preset, but I can't name it or save it, only choose the folder it goes to.System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.4.0.40    OS: macOS v10.15.7, RAM: 64.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 28

media encoder supports typing .5 as the LU tolerance.

I don't seem to have the new features in beta version 15.4. Selecting "new project" from home screen brings up old new project settings box. I also don't see the new header bar. I'm at a university with enterprise account. Could that be the reason? 

Hi, I just tried out the new export window in the beta and have two minor inconveniences i ran into.In the video export settings. the bitrate number can no longer be clicked on and entered manually. only the slider is active and its almost impossible to land it on a round number.If we say have sequence1 and sequence2. if while in edit mode, i am on seq2 and go to the export tab, when returning to the edit tab it jumps back to seq1. this could be confusing when wanting to jump back to quickly fix something in the original sequence i was about to export and then return to the export window, especially if you have several sequences open with similar names.best if it would maintain the same sequence when jumping between tabs\modes.

Great new update with the export panel settings and design. My feedback - after I finish exporting or queing a video for export, the software brings me back to my edit timeline - but it takes me to the first timeline sequence in the window and not the last one I worked on. I find this annoying since I'm working on over 10 sequences in my window and I'm used to finishing an export, returnging to the latest sequence and making changes to export a new video.  Happy to elaborate if needed.Thanks for all your work!

Hi,  I've noticed that you it seems you are unable to select multiple clips at once from the new create new project window which would make the process a lot longer having to manually click on on all of the items needed in the project.  Also, is there a way to import and create specific bins to put these in to help with project media management?  Regards,
