Premiere (Beta)

I'm editing speech, I've used a multiband compressor with the "Broadcast" preset on one of the clips. I copy it then select the clips I'd liek to paste to, select paste attributes, make sure the check box nect to "multiband compressor" is selected but nothing happens. I have tried several times.  System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.2.0.29    OS: macOS v14.1.1, RAM: 16.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 8

Sometimes when I'm in the middle of editing, the main program panel would just randomly freeze on one frame and not change whenever I moved the slider or mess with any of the other buttons. I end up having to restart Premire Pro in order for it to start working again. This could be user error, but I have no idea what could cause this. It has happened twice in in 40 minutes of me editing.

Every time I add a new file into the project, the Preview Playback starts to have lag and it doesnt go away until I restart Premiere Pro Beta. This is so annoying cause I am constantly having to restart it.

Working in Version 24.2.0 (Build 28) on a Mac Studio running Ventura 13.6.1 Since updating to this version I get nothing when I use Shift + D to apply default audio transition to a selection of clips. Have tried restarting, changing my default transition length, applying to different types of clips or only one clip.  Right-clicking on timeline and hitting Apply Default Transitions also no longer working.   

I cannot seem to change the name of the project I am on,  in the timeline, within the timeline itself.    I am flipping back and forth to old projects to copy and paste "ready to go" sectionsInto the current project I am working on.  However, since I in past times allowed these projects to have the same name in the timeline, many are listed as "background problem" even though they are completely different projects.     So it is a struggle to find the right project within the timeline drop down list to copy and Paste complete sections from, and into my current timeline because many are named the same because I never could figure out how to change the name.  Now,  When I right click it, and when I click on the 3 horizontal bars to the right of the project name within the timeline, there isn't a rename optionto rename the project within the timeline panelThat would have made things much easier a long

Edit to add: current release 24.0.0 and Beta.   This has probably not gotten attention because the preferred workflow uses the "Automatically set in/out" button. If you select part of the transcript, right click, and "insert," the full clip is inserted, not just the selected part. As the title says, as soon as I open the essential graphics panel when the sub is selected, Premiere pro instantly crashes. 

Hello Support,It is impossible to use the application if I don't have the Essential Graphics Panel. Every time I click on the panel, the application crashes. This issue started today. So far other features work fine. Please assist, I need to deliver a project, impacting my deadlines. 

I've been working on a PPro project for the past week, and updating PPro Beta as soon as a new version is launched each day, with no problems. Today, I updated PPro to Build 25, launched it, clicked on my latest project to open it (from the Recent Projects list on the welcome screen) and PPro immediately crashed and quit. I cannot get the project to open in the latest PPro release at all. The project has some linked AE comps; I also updated AE to the latest version today, so there's not a version inconsistency. I can create a new PPro project seemingly without problems (although I've not tested this beyond simply creating the project). I shall use the public release version of PPro for now - that opens the project just fine.

I have a 15min project that needs final tweeks. I edited the entire thing in Premiere Pro Beta - excited to save time on the text based editing stuff. Now at the finish line, dissolves show up on the timeline - but they do NOT work. So now I have to go through and redo all of them. ALL OF THEM. Music changes every 30 - 60 sec. LOTS of sound design. WTF! What would be a few quick changes is going to take me all afternoon. This is the second time this has happened (the first was yesterday and I figured it was just a one-off project file issue but nope).  I used Beta for a similar project last week with zero issues. Also, when you go to change the label color of one clip it changes it for ALL of the clips referenced in that file.Please, for the love of god, help

How do I recover the audio that was lost in this section of the video? It just went mute. The files were given the time to properly render after each change. But the audio is completely missing from this area...  Enhanced sound was used first, then transcript, then delete ripples.  This is in the beta premiere pro. I use mac

Download the Beta build for 11/21/23 and I'm getting this message whenever I try to open a PR 2024 project. Tried to import the project into a new project and still got project failure

 Never seen this before, after reopening a project from yesterday, some of my clip sections showed as black screens but then if I moved it up to a different track the video appeared again. Also weird that the whole clip isn't black, just a few seconds. At first, I thought it was because of the effects I had on the clip that was messing it up but even after deleting the effects and resetting the workspace, it would still show as black. Unlinking media and relinking did not fix the black screen, the only solution I've found so far is to move it to a different track. I also am wondering if it is connected to using the text panel to cut sections out of the video because when I did that it shifted my clips over but the cross dissolve didn't move with it so I had 2 clips where the cross dissolve was in the middle of the clip. To fix that I copied the clip, deleted it, and then pasted the clip again and it was back to normal. But that's when I noticed the black screen sections. I've

When I select "Show Audio Filenames" my timeline scale tool at the bottom of the timeline disapears.  Comes back when I deselect "Show Audio Filenames" Sorry! Hit Post too fast...PPro Beta 24.1M1 Max Mac Studio 64Gb RamSonoma 14.1.1

After editing the speaker names in text-based editing, the names keep reverting back to "speaker 1", etc. This continues to occurr even after renaming a second and third time. Additionally, after sorting transcribed clips into separate bins, the names again revert back to the default "speaker 1", etc.

The trim preferences in Premiere Pro Beta now offer a new option called "Ripple trim adds edits to keep both sides of trim in sync". With this option enabled, Premiere Pro will now add edits on tracks as necessary when ripple trimming, regardless of the direction of the trim operation, and will automatically ripple trim these added edits as part of the user's trim operation to keep both sides of the trim edit in complete sync. During a ripple trim, Premiere Pro will add edits to any clip that overlaps the trim selection, on any track that does not have an edit selected as part of the trim operation. The edits are added at the position of the first (leftmost) edit in a group of selected edits to trim. These added edits will automatically ripple trim along with any selected edits as the user proceeds with the trim. In places where the edit being trimmed is overlapped by a gap, the size of the gap is adjusted to accommodate the trimmed frames, and clips beyond the gap will stay in

We are used to seeing lots of metadata that is embedded in MXF files showing in Avid bins, but the same is not true in PP. Currently we get the first line ('EVS Device Src') in 'Comment' and 'EVS_NOTES' shows up as 'Log Note'.Any chance this could be displayed via the metadata window? I am shooting canon clog3 with dialog audio on channels 1 and 2. Transcription will not work when pointed at channel 1 but will work when pointed to channel 2.Text-based editing does not seem to delete at all. I can jump around the footage and highlight sections, however it will not delete segments. I have tried editing with other types of footage (MOV from an iphone) and while transcription worked smoothly there, I had the same issues with text-based editing and it will not delete segments.

I'm on 24.0.3Before Dutch as selected langauge worked fine. Now whatever I do fails. It's always switching to German. Start a new project, select the clips with the interviews and set the langauage to Dutch, and let it transcribe: result is in German.Manually create an empty project, basic settings for language are Dutch. Try transcribe: German! Adobe has messed something up here. Also I would love a menu pop up for "re-transcribe" or a "Delete transcription." 

in some panels, such as the essential graphics panel, the sidebar for scrolling is completely lost, making it impossible to scroll down or up.

Im using Premiere Pro Beta for the Enhance audio feature and im finding audio artifacts like weird voices when the speaker is quiet. 

Bonjour, J'ai déposé mes fichiers au formats .wav dans le logiciel, qui a pu les importer correctement. Au moment de les transcrire, Premiere s'arrête subitement sans message d'erreur et me redemande de lancer la transcription de la source.  J'ai suivi votre logiciel deux fois et ma méthode semble être totalement identique à la votre. Je ne comprend pas pourquoi ça ne fonctionne pas .   PS : J'ai déjà redémarré le programme Premiere et ça ne change rien ...  Que dois-je faire ?
