Premiere Elements

I purchased Premier Elements 14 and have been using it for several years. I recently upgraded computers and uninstalled it on the original PC and installed it on my new PC. When starting Premier, I get a message saying "The serial number is already in use by the maximium allowed computers. You must deactivate another computer or provide another valid serial number to use the product again on this computer" I have used the "retry activation option" but still get the message. If I close the message window it prompts me "Are you sure you want to quit" There have been times when I selcet YES that the window closes and then Premier starts and runs as normal, but it not longer will open and run. I have completely uninstalled Premier from my previous computer, turned it off and have tried to reinstall it on my new computer, but still get this error message.I am not sure how to resolve this, any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

I am trying to carefully place as many as a dozen clips into the output at the same time.all are scaled and cropped, it is just hard to 'nudge' them into precise placement.time is not a problem, they are all aligned and cut perfectly.the problem is, with a dozen clips on the screen at the same time,moving them perfectly into position.helps says you can nudge them into position,but Ctr Alt with arrows does not seem to have any effect.sample attached.ideas?

I used my trusty Panasonic HC-V727 (HD) camcorder during a recent vacation and subsequently discovered that I must have inadvertently changed the audio setting from “2ch” (i.e. stereo) to 5.1 (since corrected).   I read that Premiere Elements (I have Version 2021 on a WIN10 PC) does not work well (true – on inserting a clip into a new project the audio trace is not shown) and given that I wish to also include clips from a second device (this with stereo audio) it seems I should convert the HC-V727 clips via Handbrake.   The files from the HC-V727 are of filetype “.m2ts” - see below for the data from MediaInfo. When I ran a file through Handbrake with the default settings the audio had been converted to stereo but the resulting file (type .m4v) was only a quarter of the size of the original. I fear a possible loss of video quality due to not using the best presets – also the mini graphic of the clip did not appear in the timeline of a test project – but the preview screen look

I just got a new laptop and i'm trying to install all my old software, including Adobe Premiere Elements 11. I know it's an older version, but so far I never had any problems with it. Photoshop Elements also runs with no issues. But Premiere won't launch. The splash screen comes up and after a few seconds it just closes again. Nothing happens.I looked online and I read I should adjust the "DebugDatabase.txt" file in the AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Elements\11.0 directory, but there is no such file to be found... (Also adding the file manually did not change anything.) My new machine is a Asus TUF Gaming A17 with an AMD Ryzen 9 processor, 16 GB RAM and a GTX 1660 Ti. I have DirectX 12 installed. I'd be very grateful for any ideas. Thank you

Having trouble with Premier Elements 10 when I almost finished a video of a recent holiday it crashed and reported I need a driver update. HD GRaphics. Any Suggestions ?CheersGraham

I've just downloaded the 2021 version. It seems to work okay, BUT I don't understand why the sound don't work during play back. Help plsPoulDenmark

Hi, one year ago I bought the license for Premiere Elements 2020. Everything wroked and it was properly registered. Now I'm getting the message "you license is expiring on 31th August, please contact your administrator". What does it mean? Did they sell me an invalid license?I attach teh message in italian but it is very clear to understand...

Olen kuvannut piilokojulta karhuhaaskaa. Aiemmin automaatilla kuvatessa ja vanhempaa Premieriä käyttäessä taustakohina ei ole ollut noin kova. Mutta kun nyt olen aukaissut klipin ensi kertaa uudella PE 2021 ohjelmassa, taustakohina on kova. 

All prior .iso file burns to my computer have saved. The most recent attempts to burn the .iso file lists as successful on Premier Elements, but the saved file location does not show the .iso file. I have now perfromed this three times on the same project. The Encoding Media does take ~45 minutes which is normal, but the Burn time is very short which makes me suspicious there is something wrong. I have closed the program, perfromed a full comptuer re-sdtart and the problem exists. Suggestions?\

Is it possible to create Custom Preset with settings from ‘Adjustment’ category such us Gamma Correction, Color, Lighting etc.?

Hi guys, bit of a novice so appologies. I had a licenced version of PE from February 2019 and use it as a hobby from time to time. I have had issues with it not working properly so thought I'd try and remove it and reinstall it from the inital downloaded file I kept. Bad move. I now find I keep getting 'Your browser or OS is no loger supported. I have updated MS Edge and Adobe Acrobat but still not working. I wonder if anyone might be able to offer advice or info to help. Thank you in advance for any feedback

I'm new, and vexed by crazy problem.  My objective is a simple picture slideshow of about 200 pictures, with about five different songs on the music line.   I put the pictures in the desired order on the video timeline.I put the songs on the music timeline.  Sometimes the added songs cause the picture sequence to split open with a big gap.If I add a new image somewhere along the timeline, it often causes a split in the music line. I'm not understanding this software. There must be a way to stop this.Photos: Sample1 shows photos lined up on timeline (about 3 seconds each)              Sample2 shows adding the first song               Sample 3: after adding a second song, the photo lineup splits.  Then any attempt                                to move the photos back into place, results in the M

I just purchased Elements 2021 and I am trying to match my other recorded sound to a video. I of course clapped on video twice so that i could match the recorded sound exactly.  But in my Elements editor it is very troublesome tring to drage the audio along to match the video.  If I move it in fine adjustments it is always slightly out either to the right or left of the marker when magnified to maxium for exactness. How do I match sound and video exactly?

When I add iPhone photos to premier elements they arrive upsidedown.   I often add them to the end of a family movie I am making. But only the photos from iPhone become upsidedown.    I then have to manually select each one separately  and turn left or right till facing up.  Very annoying when adding many photos.   What ami doing wrong.  Help thanks 

Premiere 2021 Two problems: 1. Contrast There are at least two ways to change contrast in APEa. In Adjustments. Work as I expected.b. In Effects. Works differently and it basically changing the brightness, not contrast. It look very strange to me. 2. Sharpness. It seems that sharpness slider is ‘very aggressive’. Most of the setting are almost useless (within the full range) since the sharpness is too aggressive. This is not something I would expect. Can I import and edit 4k video in this software? Can I import wave audio files and synch with my hd and 4k video in this software? Thanks.

When using the Custom function of Auto Tone, it's supposed to allow you to make further adjustments by dragging the cursor around the grid. The grid, and the four scenes are not appearing. The Auto Tone works, but the grid and adjustments simply don't appear. I'm familiar with this function from using a previous version. Any suggestions?

At first, sorry for my bad English im from Germany I have a Question about the Gpu Acceleration in Premiere Elements 2021 I can see when i Render a Video that CPU and GPU working and has Power but..in the Seconds the Transitions comes the GPU Acceleration goes to 3 % and Rendering goes Slow Down Extremly. When the Transitions is finish The CPU and GPU Fires up again and it Render fast i mean GPU acceleration should be faster, especially for effects and transitions, but not slowerIn the System Monitor you can see at the Moments of the Transitions CPu goes down to 3 % Gpu 0 % Rendering without Transitions CPU has 58 % and GPU 65 % 

Installed on laptop with Windows 10.  Used before about a month ago with no issues on Elements (and more recently on Photoshop).  Now click the desk top icon and it only spins.  Tried reinstall from download version and says have to close out the one currently open -- which it is not (doesn't show up on Task Manager).  Tried some of the suggesetions of control alt shift with no luck.  Cleaned with ccleaner and disk clean up, shut down and restarted computer. 

Reinstall of recently downloaded Verion 2013 on my Windows 10 PC. On opening an existing project, a box appears entitled 'Activating Component', stating that the MPEG2 Component with a Serial Number 971487033296968281374346-0001-ADBE-PRE13.0-WINGB-EEF1 must be activated to use this feature.It instructs me to go to http://www.adobe.com/go/premiereel_encoder (but I receive a 404 error - ie doesn't exist) to enter the Serial Number & get an unlock key. This key is then to be pasted into the appropriate field in the 'Activating Component' box.Adobe support are unable to help - primarily they say because the software is old & no longer supported.Anyone able to do any better than Adobe support?

I created a slide show in Premiere Elements 2021 and can't burn it to DVD.  It is mostly pictures and some videos.  It is a little over 34 min. and almost 2.5 GBs.  When I attempt to burn, it encodes the media for the menu without a problem and when it encodes the media for the slideshow, it stops at 63%.  It gets there in descent time but doesn't get any further, even when I let it go over night.  I have not recieved an error message.  I just have to cancel burn.   I tried burning without a menu and got to 67% but it still stopped.  I also tried converting the HEIC pictures and mp4 videos I had to jpeg and mov. but it didn't help.  I saw something on here about turning off the hardware accelerator, so I tried that and got to 64%.  Anything I can do? Thanks

Hi, everyone,I have the problem that the audio display changes in the middle of video editing or when saving (see photo) and can no longer be edited afterwards.The audio can no longer be undone.Does someone know the problem and can give me a solution. Would be very grateful!Birgit

Does anyone know if AMD GPU's will be supported in the windows version of PE 2021? After all the problems with licencing (ended up in Adobe commercial circuit, rather than support 😞 ) I decided due to a number of non finished PE projects to upgrade to PE 2021. Only now to discover in hindside that my GPu is not supported. Yes, ignorant and naief on my end. Tips how to improve my PE performance without upgrading GPU are welcome

Could not download without having someone from Adobe to fix bugs. Miserable day. Never would have purchased. I have no extra time or energy for this to have happen. Now will see if I can clip a small Audio Video. Wanted to pay someone to clip the video for me but with this COVID could not find anyone locally still in business.
