Premiere Elements

Hello again. I really want to use Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 again, but my key no longer works as I have used them all and don't have access to the computers to deactivate them. So my question is this - can I buy additional keys for Adobe Premiere Elements 2018? I have the new version, but it is missing quite a lot of features from the 2018 version.

I'm upgrading from Premier Elements 2021, to 2025, and the drastically changed/new/different interface is tripping me up. Three main Q's:1. Is there any way to ask Elements 2025 to shift back to a "legacy appearance", comparable to the 2021 version, or other prior versions?2. What command do I use to rotate a video by a controlled and limited amount, rather than in 90 degree increments? For example, if someone was holding the video camera at a slightly off-kilter angle, such as 4 degrees clockwise, how can I return the video to normal vertical?3. How can I zoom in, using a controllable slider, rather than the 1.5x, 2x, and other fixed increments that show up in the list of zooming options?Any help on ANY of those would be truly useful, and appreciated.

I am trying to align several clips in Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 but I can only "nudge" the clips (or the CTI) in single frame increments.  IOW, if I try to nudge either the CTI or the clip, they move a full frame length, no less. Does this have anything to do with snapping? If so, how do I turn it off? How can I move my clips by only a franction of a frame length? Thanks

I am using Premiere Elements 15 on 2 PCs running windows 10. One an older Dell XPS 9000 and the other a brand new Dell XPS 8900. Both machines have I7 processors, lots of memory and lots of disk space. The older machine has had the same issue in Premiere Elements 14 and 15. The new machine was just setup and is only running Premiere Elements 15. Both machines pause in the exact same way. After hitting play the video randomly stops. It does not make a difference which clip or it it has been rendered or not. Clicking play starts the video again, and it will randomly stop again. I adjusted many setting per dozens of discussions I've seen. I tried turning off services and upgrading and downgrading drivers. I removed the RealTek audio drivers. I tried rendering. I tried removing the video card and using the motherboard video only. I tried unlinking the audio from the video and deleting the audio (so only the video played) and I tried deleting the video (so just the audio played). I ran the

I have a 16:9 landscape video project. Within the timeline there is a clip which is a landscape photo media element. This photo shall be overlaid with a portrait 9:16 video clip from a second video track. Unfortunatly the vertical margins arround the portrait video clip are rendered black not transparent. Hence the underlying photo is no longer visible. How can I make the margins of the portrait video clip transparent instead of black? I tried several things, including the "Transform.Clip" effect, but I did not succeed. (Premiere Elements 2025, Windows 11)  

Die Steuerung über die J-K-L Tasten ist sehr praktisch. Leider muss ich bei meinem PRE v21 immer erst einmal auf den Cursor in der Timeline klicken, ehe die Steuerung funktioniert. Ohne diesen Klick haben die Tasten keine Funktion.Weiß jemand Rat? I can't find the tool bar to the left of the timeline (or above the timeline). You can see how it should be on the first image (marked with red line) and my program down below. I guess it's only to klick somewhere but I can't find it. Very frustrating. (It's in swedish)./Lars

Hello, I am quite appalled that there seems to be no one to speak to from Adobe in case one has problems with their software? Is that right?  First time working with Elements 2025, used to use 2018, then gave up on it, because the rendering times were horrendous on Windows and Apple computers, went with Filmora, first very happy, then it became a money-making machine, but because I make music videos, often using the green screen, 2018 wasn't enough anymore. Now doing a trial for 2025. So far some things are similar, what I don't like is that if I put my sound clip on Audio 1 and then bring down the first clip, it seems to override that clip and places two or three soundtracks for that clip and as I saw on this tutorial, if I bring down another clip (and I often do several takes), then all those sound tracks get muddled up. Is there a way to override that? Because right now it all looks like a huge mess!!!! I only need the sound on my filmed clips so that I can sync them with

Auch im Handbuch wird nur die einmalige Bearbeitung eines Clips beschrieben.Wie kann ich die Zeit eines Clips an verschiedenen Stellen ändern?

Request for advice below ...The effects are based on Steve's tutorial (since removed) starting at 1:59 in my video. The four icons that introduce each section are made as follows:First the TLI is placed at the first frame of each section & a Freeze Frame taken.In video 1 there is "04_Cloud" (from Graphics/Video Background).The Freeze frames were imported and stacked one per video track with the one that is to "take over" being at the top.  At the very top of the stack is the text with labels - 3 seconds long.Everything in the stack has default fade-in. For the icon at the top of the stack via Applied Effects / Motion keyframes were placed at the 3 second mark.Then at the end of the clip 2 more keyframes with position (960, 540) & scale 100.The motion is of course linear.See the graphic - the two keyframes at the 5 second mark are highlighted by the arrows...&nb

Just tried using the Premiere Elements 7-day trial (2025) to test the video facial recognition capabilities of Elements Organizer.  I'm certain the product isn't as terribly contradictory to how it's advertised, but wondering why, after days beyond uploading the 124 video files (avg size per file is 325 MB), I'm still waiting for the People tab to recognize (or process) the uploaded files.  To ensure facial recognition is working generally I uploaded 2000+ photos, as well.  The People tab recognized those within seconds.  What am I not doing correctly regarding video files? Running a Macbook Pro 2021 | Apple M1 Max | OS 15.4.1

I am making a video slideshow for senior graduation.  I am almost finished and notice that there is a "blip" of a slide from the middle showing up at the end.  I am assuming I butted the following slide up and overlapped just a smidge, but i cannot get it to fix, and do not want to have to undo/redo the entire 2nd half.  Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I had the 2023 version which was simple, and just updated to 2025. The directions to do picture in picture in my new version are not in the user manual (2022) and I can't figure out how to place a piccture in picture in my videos that relate to painting a painting. I want to have the completed painting in one of the corners for reference. .Help? 

I need to reinstall this version. It no longer shows on my account because it is too old. I dont use it often enough to purchase the new version. Is there anywhere safe that it can be downloaded from?

After about 15 minutes of video footage on the timeline of Adobe Premiere Elements 2025 , most of the new clips that I drag onto the timeline appear distorted in colour: Foreground objects in correct colours, background objects black and white, even finely contoured, therefore I suspect AI behind it. Or some capacity overload? (see attachment). I am stuck! I have deleted the media cache files, restarted the editor several times, even restarted the whole system. Nothing has helped so far. Does anyone else have similar problems? Thanks!

I had to reinstall windows on my computer after the last update.  I reinestalled my adobe premier elements 2022.  Before when I used vidos from my camcorder (.mts)  they loaded with video and audio.  Now they only load with video.  How can I fix this?

I cannot seem to change range of time shown on the timeline screen.  It always shows the entire video.  The zoom control does not seem to change the time range shown.  Is there a setting to allow adjustment of the timeline zoom.   The slider is working but their is no affect on the time range displayed on the screen. Please see the word document showing the screen with two different zoom settings. I am sorry for what I am sure will be a simple question.Any suggestions would be appreciated.Martin

Hello,I resently rebuilt my computer and didn't back up all my applications because I didn't find it neccessary.  That being said, premiere elements 2019 is one application I decided I wanted to reinstall.  I signed in to my account, navigated to the products page and downloaded the instal executable for that product.  Once initiating the instal, I was notified I would need to upgrade my adobe applications before installing.   Doing some research I found that support for my version of elements (Premiere Elements 2019 ver 17) discontinued in 2021.  This was odd because I was using it up until I rebuilt my pc a month ago, and now am unable to download it.   I am frustrated because this was advertised as a perpetual liscense agreement, and I have no need for upgrading every 3 years as they now state you must do, and no need for premiere pro.  When I purchased this application I was under the impression I would have access to it for li

Hello community!  I produced a 7 minute video in Adobe Premiere 2025.  When I export the video to a .mp4 in order to post in on YouTube, there are two errors in the end product.  Same errors each time.  What happens is the .mp4 drops two different video frames from the video.  I have tried deleting those frames and replacing them with different frames, but same problem.  I have tried all of the solutions posted by Adobe, like cutting the video in half, deleting frames and replacing, etc. and nothing works.  Same problem every time.  Any suggestions?

Using Premiere elements 2023. I have numerous edits to an audio track where I'm using time stretch to reverse the audio of several clips. All was working fine but after about 5 of these edits, any additional time stretch reverse audio clips don't playback at all. I've tried rendering the section and even exporting the project but the clips have no audio. They look correct on the timeline though, and the gain and audio levels are unchanged with a -100% appearing on the audio clip like it should. It's almost as if there's a bug in the software that occurs after a certain number of time stretch edits like this. Any ideas? Thanks
