Premiere Elements

I am trying to do shake reduction on a clip and it doesn't work. I get a red banner across the preview with some writing on it ...but I can't read the "error message" if that is what it is.Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or at least tell me what the message in the red banner is telling me (This is NOT a user friendly message it is illegible, at least to me!!!!). Thank you in anticipation. Charlie

Hello, I just started using Premiere Elements and I'm trying to do a picture in picture, except the small video which needs to be on top is behind the video I'm using as the background, so I can't see it - all I see is my background video. How do I bring the PiP video to the front? I plan to have two videos overlaid over the background, if that's important. Thanks!

Since a short time, I suddenly have several audio lines in Premiere Elements. I can now no longer fade in or out the audio of a video. Does anyone know how to do this? This was possible six months ago, but probably an update has changed something and now I can't figure it out. I send a screenshot with this message.   [typos edited by mod]

Really frustrated. I shot a series of talking head videos this weekend on a Sony ZV1 for use on my website. Once the lighting was set, I started and stopped the camera with no setting changes.To edit, I moved all the raw clips (MP4's) off the memory card to my Dell. I opened up Premiere Elements 2019 and got to work editing my three videos. Finished first and second and am happy with the results.But this am, I came in to work on the third video. As is typical, I name the project in Premiere Elements, (say Video 3), then grab the raw MP4 clip I want and drop it into the Project Assets bin. But today, when I then move the clip down to the video timeline to begin editing, the tint/saturation has gone crazy and I’m extremely red in the face with a visible haze around me. I can’t fix it. I have made no setting changes to Elements since I successfully edited video 2. The raw MP4 clip displays with perfectly normal color, so something is happening once it gets moved over to Elements. I upgraded from 2018 to 2021 yesterday to allow me to add footage from my newe GoPro Hero 5. I edited a video from the GoPro , everything worked well. However, when I imported footage from my DJI Osmo Action camera, its color shifted, lots of yellow,purple, etc overlayed on the footage in preview. I went back to 2018, and the footage is fine. I tried turning off hardware acceleration after seeing apost about a similiar issue with Sony camera footage, no change.

Hello,I recently had an issue importing a video file, telling me HEVC is missing. When I tried to contact the support, the chatbot tells me, that it couldn't find any supported products in my account. When I check my account through the provided link from the bot, they are actually listed there. When I check here https://helpx.adobe.com/de/contact/what-contact-options.html it says it should be supported. I'm using Premiere Elements 2021 and it's registered. I try to export and the response I get is "Audio incoding failed. If Audio is in 2 pass VBR encoding mode, try either CBR or 1 pass encoding. I have worked on this project for over a year, Does anyone know how to correct this?

hello! I just bought adobe elements 2021 and tried to edit a short video. My laptop specs are alienware 14 running 64 bit windows 10intel core i7-4900Q CPU @ 2.80GHZ16 gig ramnividia geforce gtx 765M I cannot seem to get the clip preview to play smoothly. Even after lowering the quality. I did manage to edit a clip and once rendered and exported the video plays perfectly in its exported format. The unedited video also runs with no issues in multiple media players, (this is actually what I used to review the clips while editing as the preview window was too choppy to tell if the video was smooth or shaky) At no point other than when I am rendering the video does my gpu or cpu ever clock over 50% and always seem to have lots of ram available. I checked to make sure my GPU and CPU drivers were updated. The stuttering playback occurs all the time regardles if I use footage from my go pro, samsung s8 or my dji mavic mini. I ahve also tried the work around I found on here

Hi. I switched from an old version of Elements (10) to the new one. In the old one there was the possibility to define the line space of text in titles.Where is this in PE 21???  Even also the character spacing (kerning for fonts) with an exact number to make it similar to other text fields seems to be gone, too.?????So to have the titles I want I have to create them in PE 10 and import those titles???Hhm!Thanks for helping. 

Hi, I'm planning to purchase Elements but my footage involves a lot of 360 videos taken from 360 cams.I would like to be able to reframe my 360 footages. Not being able to do this is a deal breaker for me.Does Elements support reframing 360 vids?And, to the developers, is Elements going to have this feature at all?

Die Lizenz ist für 2 PCs gültig, das Programm funktioniert aber nur auf einem PC und auf dem anderen nicht. Ich bekomme folgende Fehlermeldung: Fehler beim importieren der Datei, Dieser Dateityp wir nicht unterstützt oder erfordert einen nicht installiereten Codec. When I export the edited video, the individual video clips are partially displayed smaller in the saved file. What do I have to set so that all videos are subsequently displayed in full-screen mode? It would be ok for me if the quality of the individual clips suffers a bit.Thanks a lot!

Bonjour, Devant les nouveaux formats demandés sur facebook, instagram et autres, je me retrouve bloqué avec Premiere Elements et suis obligé de passer par un autre logiciel pour pouvoir travailler correctement. Ma question est donc la suivante, comment créer un format vidéo adapté à nos besoins: par exemple 720 x 1280, ou encore 1080 x1920... Ces formats n'exitent pas dans ceux préconfigurés. My question is therefore the following, how to create a video format adapted to our needs: for example 720 x 1280, or even 1080 x1920 ... I have to do several tedious manipulations to produce a finished quality product.

I have just purchased and installed Premiere Elements 2021. A day later I bought and installed Photoshop Elements 2021I'm pleased with them especialy as I have had the pro/full versions (albeit older versions) in the past and they compare very well. However  on a premiere elements job I was working on, I wanted ot extract a single frame. I learned how to do it and during the process I noticed a check box ; open up in Photoshop. see attached image. I thought that would be useful shortcut. So I ticked it. However Photoshop does not open and so obviouslydoesn't open that frame with it.either Is there something I can do to fix this? Thanks 

When I add a music track to the timeline for my video, it will not play in the timeline view until after rendering. Is this normal? This was not an issue in my previous version of PE.

So I bought because I like the old Adobe program I had. It it didn't work on my new computer. Got this program already had issues with the set but figured it out. Now trying to edit my videos and all I get is the green line. I read some of the other post follewed the links download the driver went to nvidia it's self download the driver restarted computer check for updates and reinstalled. Still the same problem it play fine on video and the windows edit but can't get past it here. Any help would be appreciated.

Hallo Adobe, ich habe Jahre lang  mit Premiere Pro CS5,5  gearbeitet, da ich nun windows 10 installieren muss, wird das nun sicher nicht mehr gehen, schlimm genug. Noch schlimmer, dass das neue Premiere Pro NUR mit monatlicher Gebühr zu haben ist, das kommt in keinem Fall für mich in Frage. (Ändert sich das vielleicht wieder?) Würde ich mich für Premiere Elements entscheiden, kann das Programm folgendes? : Ich brauche nur einige Funktionen, da ich Filme NUR AUS STANDBILDERN mache, aus jpgs und gifs, die ich aber in SEHR VIELEN EBENEN übereinander legen muss. Dazu muss ich Ebenen ausblenden und sperren können. Ich brauche ca. 15 Ebenen übereinander. Geht das mit Premiere Elements????? Dann brauche ich noch, dass ich diese vielen einzelnen Bilder extrem variabel animieren kann, sowie gute Überblendungen dafür, mehr brauche ich nicht. Aber das muss schnell und leicht gehen. Wie eben in Premiere PRO - ist Elements dafür überhaupt geeignet?  Soundbearbeitung sollte in den Gru

I have just invested a lot of money on an RTX 3080 because it is supposed to be supported for GPU acceleration. To my surprise it says detected card is RTX 3080 but says detected graphics processor is unsupported. Whats going on? Is it supported like Adobe says it is, or isn't it?

Hi, I have been using PSE 20 without any big issues for editing videos. Until today where I have spent hours trying to complete a  9min video and right at the end of the rendering for export and sharing I get this message..."File imported detected an inconsistendy in the file structure of morven.mpt4. reading and writing this files metadata (xmp) has been disabled."the only operable icon is to press Ok then I am back to the start again..There are 66 video clips, mainly go pro and dji drone 4k footage, one music track and that is it. I am trying to save to 4k and wait for over an hour to receive this message at around 98% complete..this is the 3rd time today!!Can anyone advise?Thank you

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020.Can anybody tell me why when I right click on an audio track on Audio 1 and click on fade in/out it does not work. Just to mention there is a small 5.1 being displayed just by the wording Audio 1 if that's anything......Thanks

After update for my Elements 19, individual thumbs changed to touching each other.  How do I change back to separate pics, showing stacks?

GREETINGS! Can ANYONE help...?  In my 'add mediatab, I want to search for a file but the SEARCH TAB won't allow me to type thename of a specific file I'm looking for! Does ANYONE have a clue or knows how to fix this annoying issue??
