Premiere Elements

Premiere Elements 2019 is giving me a message "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed" when I try to upload my GoPro Hero 7 Black files shot in 4k 60fps.  What are the solutions so I can edit my video files?  Using Handbrake to change the codec is time consuming.  Is there a better fix so I don't have to process all my new videos?  Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Internal speaker on MAC will not play narrations on timeline using Premiere elements

I have purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 2019, But it won't Download on my Mac. I have taken the necessary steps to update, install creative cloud, I have sufficient storage and I have spoken with support over the phone who sent me a link to download a version of Premiere Elements 2019 that still WON'T work on my MAC. Since I have already purchased the software am I able to just get Premiere Elements 2019 as I know that will for sure work?

Is there a way to change the default text setting so you do not have to change them each time you add a title.These are the settings I would like.

Hi, I have a very odd situation where I have installed Premiere Elements 2018 on my Dell XPS15 laptop with Intel i7-6700 HQ CPU @ 2.60 GHz, 16 GB RAM, OS Windows 10 Home, 64 bit.  For my home set up, I use a Dell D3100 Dock and connect both the laptop and a Dell P2415Q monitor and use the separate monitor as my primary display.  Both displays have a resolution of 3840 x 2160, the laptop display refreshes at 59 Hz and the Dell monitor at 30 Hz.  The laptop monitor is connected to Intel HD Graphics 530 and I also have Nvidia GeForce GTX960M (not sure if this is too much info but not sure what is relevant).When I am at home, I can open Elements without issue, add media and play that media in elements before making any adjustments with the external Dell monitor as primary display.  I can even drag the entire Elements window over onto the laptop monitor and continue to play the media.  The programme will also close without a problem.The issue arises when I am away f

Je rencontre un bug avec Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 qui provient sans doute de l'effet "réduction du tremblement" et je ne sais comment m'en sortir. Mon projet est terminé mais il est impossible de le finaliser en l'exportant. Ce message d'erreur apparaît à chaque fois que je retente la manœuvre:"! Le processus Réduction du tremblement est en cours ou a rencontré une erreur.  Redémarrez l'exportation un fois la progression terminée ou résolvez le problème et réessayez."Il faut préciser que cet effet ne concerne que 2 petites séquences du projet et qu'il est intégrer et terminé depuis plusieurs jours. J'ai essayer de le supprimer puis ai enregistrer le projet sous un autre nom. Hi,I wonder if I might be leaving out a step when I try to combine 2 parts of a video into 1 screen. From what I’ve read, I align them 1 on top of the other. I then highlight the top one, and choose the “crop” function from the Effects menu on the bottom (close to the right) border (I have Elements 14.) I am then, thru the controls and the motion tool, able to arrange how I want each part to appear. I don’t hit any button, such as “OK” or “accept” at this point.However, when I look at the video, there are often a lot of frozen frames on 1 or both parts, esp the one that I had carried the Crop tool to. I have seen the “render” tool right there on the screen, and have tried this—since it says it smooths things out. This usually helps, though I still  get some freezing. Am I missing something?Thanks.LNovik

When I try to add text it blocks out it's own frame(s) creating a gap and does not appear on the actual video.  How do I do that?

I opened a previously produced and recorded show and it opened fine.  A few minutes later when I tried to open the show again  Premiere Elements 15 shut down immediately.  I have three shows experiencing the same issue. All other shows I've produced open up fine.  I'm preparing to upgrade to Premiere Elements 2019 and I want to make sure all previously produced shows open up.  For some reason, I have three shows that will not  open even though the previously did.  Thanks

Can Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 use the Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 GPU.I am running on a windows 10 version 1803 system with     intel i7-5820 CPU (6 cores)     Nvidia GeForce GTX 760When I am editing and rendering the CPU is doing all the work.Is there a way to get the GPU to share the load?

Hello,When I'm trying to set the motion title's background to a different opacity, I only see "select Background from monitor to enable Background editing."It's the same when trying to change the Graphics. What does this mean and how can I fix this? Thanks for your help!

When I try to create a narration it comes back through the speakers while I'm talking.  Hearing myself on a 3 second delay screws my mind up and I have to stop narrating.  How do I disable this playback?

Hi - I am doing some zooming in on videos, and inadvertently added an extra focus frame to my clip.Now I cannot remove it. Yes, I tried delete, control delete, x, etc, and there is no way to delete it.Any suggestions, or is this a bug/missing feature? It is a giant pain in the you-know-what.Windows 64-bit - Windows 10 in case you're wondering.Thanks to all in advance.

I would like to have a video play full screen for a time then while it continues playing have the frame shrink to half screen so I can place some text in the newly vacated part of the screen.  Possible ?I have Premiere Elements 15.

I set up a picture naming system about a year ago that, after experience, is proving non-workable and I need to bulk rename all of my pictures: e.g. date_time_original name.  This is doable, but I also need to bulk rename all of my picture names in Elements 15 catalog to avoid without manually retagging all 17,000 plus of them. I see that you can bulk rename in the edit screen but does this carry over to the catalog as well?  If not, can anyone offer a suggestion.Thanks in advance.

I've used Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 10 64 bit for a year or more. A few weeks ago I went to open it and found I cannot either start a new project or open existing projects. Whichever I select it just hangs and does nothing.If I select the Organiser then that works OK, but if I select the Video Editor then New Project it does nothing other than show me the stripy progress indicator for a minute or so then stops even doing that.It is a valid licensed copy.I've uninstalled and reinstalled, doing registry clean in between. On first startup it asks to validate my license online and I agree. That appears to work, but maybe doesn't work well enough because then it crashes. I've reinstalled twice and it has done this both times. On next startup it doesn't ask me to relicense but it doesn't do much at all, as above.I've updated to 12.1I've disabled antivirus, and have reset windows firewall to default settingsI've renamed "C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Adobe\Premier Elements", to reset prefere

Can't up load footage from video camera..when the .get video window opens..its all white and nothing happens when I press the red get video button...have been using this programme for.years and never had a problem until now..recently had my.PC services and reformatted ..could that.have something to do.with it or is.it a Programme faultRegards Brian

I am running Premiere Elements 11 on a networked windows 7 system. The computer is a Dell with and i5 processor, 8 GB RAM and 2x 500 GB hard drives.I recently had issues caused by Windows concerning my video card. After many attempts, I was able to get a new driver downloaded and installed and was able to complete a fairly large (52 min) video project and burn it to DVD last week. Today I opened Premiere, and selected "new project". Once it was opened I selected "add Media" to begin importing footage from my camera. I immediately got a message that the APP had crashed.Went through the same steps several times with the same results. I have element 2018, suddenly I am unable to get audio on the same clips that worked fine this morning. I checked audio hardware. what else could be wrong?

Hello.  I am having trouble editing my 4k Gopro footage.  I have Premiere Elements 15 with the latest updates.  When I try to select 4k for my project settings it does not show up. Here is a screen shot of the settings menu.  There is no option for 4k.  Is 4k not available on this program?  It does give me the option to export in 4k.  I imported the files.  They play back kind of choppy until I render them.  After I render them they play smoothly as expected, but the quality is horrible.  Like 360 resolution!  What gives?  I have a new computer with a 1 TB SSD, I7 CPU 3.6ghtz, 32 GB RAMand a NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 graphics card so I don't think it's my computer. 

I am running Premiere Elements 11 on Win 7I suddenly started getting an error message that says my NVIDIA GeForce GT620 driver is out of date... please load updated driver. When I click OK the computer continues to load Premiere.... for ever, and ever, and ever.... If I wait 10 or 15 minutes, sometimes it finally opens load (usually the computer just locks up and I have to do a forced shutdown), but then when I bring up the file I've been working on it only plays the audio. So, I did as it suggested, I went to the NVIDIA website found the latest driver for my card and installed it, rebooted the computer and... Same result, same error message, same freeze up of the machine. So, I reinstalled Premiere and guess what? same exact results.Can anyone help? The only thing I had left to do on this current project was one final check and then burn to DVD. I really needed to get it done by the end of this week.Phil
