I just installed Premiere Elements 2023 (free version) on Windows to try it out before buying.  It doesn't seem to work.  When I open it, I get the main window that lets me click on "Organizer", "Photo Editor", or "Video Editor".  When I click on "Video Editor", it opens a completely blank white window - no menu or anything.  See the attached screen shot.  This window is all I get, no matter how long I wait.   How do I get the video editor to actually launch, so I can try editing a video?  If I can't get the demo version to work, I'm certainly not going to pay for the full version!

In 2021 I bought and used Premiere Elements 20.0. I have now downloaded it from my Adobe account page onto a new computer, having signed out of the original installation.The download and installation are successful, but when it opens and I click on 'Photo Editor' I just get the invitation to 'Install from DVD' or 'Download Trial' - nowhere to enter the serial number. BUT if I click on 'Download Trial' it forces me to download Elements 2023, for which of course my serial number is not valid.However, if I click on 'Video Editor' I do get the activation dialog, it accepts my serial number, and it works fine. Then closing and reopening the app still does NOT activate the Photo Editor.How do I activate Photo Editor?

I recently edited a video on Elements 23, made an MP4 version but wish to convert it to a format that will play on an ordinary dvd player. Have tried several conversion apps without success. Any suggestions?

I am thinking of buying Premiere Elements.  What I wish to know is can I save a project as a package, so it saves all the clips and audio etc used?  So that the project can be reused at a later date.

Having rescently purchased this program, I managed to get one project done, then it malfunctioned.It is unable to play video fluently and at the proper speed, rendering it useless.I have Pinnacle 25 , Blender, and Microsoft thahave no problems playing or editing on my computedr . Therfore thr Adobe program Premiere Elements is useless.How do I get a refund.

Hi all,I've used Premeier elements 2018 for years.  With clips on the time line I was able to select a clip and then press "CTRL+ Left"   and move clips one frame to the left (or right etc).  Yesterday I "upgraded" to 2023 and this funtion no loger works.  No combination of CRTL, Shift, ALT and the arrow keys will move the clip at all.  The only thing the arrow keys will do now is move the play head, or slect from the top menu. Does anyone know how to nudge clips in Premiere elements 2023?ThanksMatt

Hello,In 2019 we bought a license for Adobe Premiere Elements program (version 17). The program worked normally until today, but now after its launch it requires a login. Then I enter a login to the account and the offer to buy the program/trial for 30 days/button Licence for this software is displayed.. Therefore I enter the Licences for this software and subsequently the serial number (from Licencing Website). After entering the number I click the Next button. Loading is displayed and in about 2 seconds the screen disappears and is replaced again by a login request. Can you therefore please advise me how to proceed? Thanks a lotJan 

In earlier versions of Premiere Elements, I could insert points on a voice or music timeline to adjust volume. I can no longer do this in Premiere Elements 23. I must now split the clip and can only use fade in and fade out. Is there a bug in this new version or is this a step backward in Premier Elements?

I can't find a way to the change project settings to have a frame size for an Instagram stories compatible video. I can see one can export in the costume frame size for it (1080x1920) but if I can't edit the video in the good format the best outcome is a vertical video with black bars on top and under the video... So far trying a new project I couldn't find a way to have a costumed project with the frame size I need.Any ideas? Thanks.

Using Premiere Elements 2022, it gives me the error.I have: - Bought and installed HEVC extension- Deleted cache files- Closed Elements and the Organizer- Changed security settings for my file- Restarted PCAt this point I am thinking it's a bug. Thank you for reading!  

I just purchased the Windows Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2023.  I am currently using version 2020 on a Windows 10 computer.   Can I upgrade directly from version 2020 to 2023 or are there intermediate steps required?I have 30K of photos, many of which are tagged with the names of people and events.  Are there any compatibility issues with tags between versions?Are there other issues I should considere before converting to the new version? Thanks in advance for any insights.

La dernière en date l'audio est inaudible lors du montage, ni celui de mes séquences vidéos, ni celui ajouté depuis ma bibliothèque, ni celui compris dans le logiciel avec les transitions titres effets etc...Par contre lors de l'export tout va bien, j'entends tout ce que j'ai mis lors du montage ?Avant cela j'avais eu un truc que je pensais impossible, un fichier audio MP3 de ma bibliothèque j'entendais les paroles mais pas la musique !!!Maintenant c'est plus clair, je n'entends absolument rien.Si quelqu'un dans la communauté a eu les mêmes déboires.... I am trying to create a project using a 3840 x 2160 25fps preset in Premiere Elements to match the output from my camcorder but no such preset exists. This seem to be a bug as all other relevent fps rates exist as presets. Not sure how to report a bug in premiere Elements?

I have updated from earlier versions of premier elements and mystified how one can do a quick edit if only the first and last frames are visible in the 2019 version.The magnify slider has no effect on them.I see Adobe proudly claim they have made editing easier. Not worth buying the program now, if they think removing essential functionality is the answer.I have searched the settings and find nothing that makes them appear.Also, moving the position marker is so hit or miss, like using an underpowered PC, you cannot home in on the place to make the cut. Remember, the only thing that has changed is upgrading from 2018 to 2019.If I don't get sensible answers, I will downgrade for now and look elsewhere for a quick editing program.

I've installed PRE 2023 on both my desktop and laptop computers. It appears that I might have a defective installation of the Organizer on my desktop, which of course is the computer where I really do all my editing. I was attempting to get into the Organizer's preferences to adjust the settings for the Media Analyzer. On the desktop computer, none of the menu items for the organizer (File, Edit, find, etc.) are functional. The menu headings are there, and when I hover the cursor over them the get surrounded by a white box as normal, but clicking on any menu item does nothing. I have no access to any of the menu items in the Organizer. This issue does not exist on my laptop, which leads me to believe I have a defective installation on the desktop computer. I have no issues with the Editor itself, everything appears to be fully functional. Before I reinstall the program on the desktop, I thought I'd throw this issue to the community for suggestions.Thanks,Russ  

I use fusion for my title or clor correction. For the title I have often alpha transparent. Until Fusion 8 Idid use Quicktime compression PNG. In the version 9 you have different codec like DNxHR 444 12bit. in.mov. Is that possible to connect such a codec on PE11 oder is there n way.ThanksCL

Hi: I've edited my video down to five minutes. When I export the video, the running time is over 13 minutes. Help!

Ive been trying to export this video I spent hours editing it, but when I went to export it. It came up with this errorr " A low level exception occurred in: H.264 (exporter:9) "I've tired uninstalling the program, clearing cashe, updating driver and windows. I tired opening a new file with the same unedited footage and it let me export it then. But I would like not to have to start over in editing it. The error appears to be because of different frame rate of one of the files, so I changed them all so they were all 60 and that didn't help. If anyone has any tips of what to try next. let me know  

Hi, I am new to Premiere Elements and encounter a problem. As I load a video into Premiere, it is missing the first 3/4 seconds of the video. When I play the video outside of Premiere, e.g. in Windows Mediaplayer, it shows the complete video including the first seconds.How can I solve this?Kind regards,Jeroen

I upgraded to 2023 and first thing I notice is that it has only about half of the transitions I had in 2022. Is there some way to import the trnsitions from an earlier version or directly from Adobe? It's a much smaller selection in 2023 version.

Hallo, ich habe ein riesen Problem. Ich habe anscheinend mein Projekt mit den Falschen Einstellungen angelegt. Auflösung ist 1280 x 720 ... Ich möchte wie gewohnt Full HD sprich 1920 x 1080.Gibt es irgendeine Möglichkeit das noch zu ändern? Mein Problem ist.. das Video ist komplett fertig. Dementsprechend bin ich gerade ziemlich verzweifelt.In den Projekteinstellungen kann ich die Framegröße nicht mehr ändern. Hat irgendwer einen Lösungsvorschlag oder muss ich es komplett neu machen?Gäbe es vielleicht auch eine Möglichkeit den Arbeitsbereich in ein neues Projekt zu kopieren oder so? Bitte um Hilfe!Vielen Dank

Hallo allerseits,ich bekomme nach Installation von Premiere Elements 13 (Upgrade) die Meldung, dass ich eine Verbindung mit dem Internet herstellen soll. Die Verbindung steht aber definitiv, da ich zu diesem Fenster nur komme mit einem Code, der mir direkt davor per Mail zugesendet wird. Hat jemand eine Idee, was ich falsch mache?Ich nutze Windows 7, beim Internet Explorer sind SSL 2.0, 3.0 und TLS 1.0, 1.1 und 1.2 aktiviert.Viele Grüße, Rick Hello all,after installing Premiere Elements 13 (upgrade) I get this message about a missing internet connection. In fact the PC is connected, because directly before I get an adobe code via mail.
