Premiere Elements

I have lots of Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 project files (circa 2007). Is there a version that can now open these? What is the last version that can open these files? These were on Windows (XP), but I now have a Mac. I could buy Parralels I suppose. Thanks.

I bought Adobe Premiere Elements 15 a few days ago so it should be the most up to date version. I have made my video but when exporting it it adds on 10 minutes of blankness at the end. I have zoomed out and pressed the end key to see if there is any hidden footage or audio further down the timeline but there isn't. I have then tried adding a stop marker to the end of the video and exporting it but this doesn't stop the problem. Is there a really clear way to end your video so Adobe understands? I checked with Adobe before purchase and was told the Premiere Elements 2022 could capture .AVI files from a MiniDV camcorder via Firewire on Windows 10 like PE v7 did on Windows XP for me. I installed a Startech PEX1394A2V2 card and Windows 10 Device manager shows 1394 Host controller and Imaging devices as Panasonic DV Camcorder correctly. The problem is when I try to Add Media, Videos from cameras and devices, it does my camcorder does not show up like it does in the Dev Mgr. Is this function only in the Premiere Pro version and been disabled in the Elements version? I could try WinDV but I was hoping to capture within PE like I did on my old PC. Also, the version of PE 2022 shows as version 20.0 (xxx). It was installed from the purchased DVD and other than setting it to auto update there seems to be no manual update. Could not find anything on Adobe website for the latest PE 2022 version See attached.

When I set up my movie to burn on Adobe Premier elements 11 it progresses to the indexing window but no indexing occurs and wont progress past that point. Screen shot included. This is an IMac. 

When I export a video it is not clear. any Ideas? Can anyone help?

I have a project for Premiere Elements 2022 that i created recently. I wanted to export the entire audio track, do some EQing and mastering in Cubase and then re-import the audio file into Premiere Elements to replace the existing track. I am doing it this way because Elements is pretty limited with audio editing and I already know cubase. these are the steps i followed:- from elements, File/Export and Share, selected WAV format, Medium quality. I did try MP3 too but my preference is WAV so avoid compression- Imported the track into Cubase, did my audio editing there and exported the results to another WAV file.- Imported the editing audio track back into Elements and drag/drop it on one of the audio tracks.- the result is that Elements will not play that audio track, meaning no sound comes out and there is not even a waveform displayed on that audio track like the others. - I can play the Cubase exported WAV file in other software - I can import a completely different M

I have my son's memorial service I want to edit. Only problem is that the person videoing for me gave me a seperate audio file from the 4K video file. Is it possible to sync them up in Premere Elements 2022. Looking for tips on doing this.

Does anyone know how to delete the temp, etc files after a project has been completed? The only place I save was in the preferences, media cache. It's set to 2 GB and after clicking 'clean now' the sizes of the C and D drives are still larger than before the project was completed even after adding the size of the project and export files. I follow the paths in the prefs: scratch disks and there are still 64 files totaling almost 600MB in the C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache Files folder. Is it safe to manually delete all of these and are there any other locations I can clean out? 

My Sony DCR-TRV-480 is no longer recognized by Adobe Pemiere Elements Ver 14.1. I connect to my PC via iEE-1394 cable and can view the video using VLC Media player. When trying to add media, the only option is WDM device. I have reinstalled Premeier Elements 14.0 and tried connecting my camera berfore upgrading to Ver. 14.1 but still unable to connect to camera. I have tried installing a Legacy Windows driver thinking that something in W10 has now blocked the camera, but still no luck. I used this Sony camera in August of 2021 and now in December it will no longer detect my camera.

Ich habe seit kurzer Zeit die neuste Version von Premiere Elements 2022.Aber die Probleme mit MOV-Dateien sind gleich geblieben.Unverständlich wie Adobe bei seiner Haltung bleiben kann, Apple-MOV-Dateien nicht zu unterstützen.Programme wie "VideoProc Converter" für 40€ konvertieren auch Apple-Formate,.Alle gelisteten Hinweise zu Windows-Codecs (HEVC-oder HEIF, Verwenden von HEVC- und HEIF-Medien unter Windows (adobe.com)) für MOV Dateien sind sinn- und erfolglos. Trotz INstallation keine Importierung möglich.Kennt Adobe nicht den Markt und die Verbreitung von IPhone-Kameras und damit verbunden den häufigen Einsatz der implementierten Kameras, zumal die Qualität immer besser wird.Die Konsequenz ist, Adobe Premiere Elements ist nicht nutzbar für Privatanwender,da eine Konvertierung sehr zeitaufwendig, selbst mit guter PC-Performance.Irre ich mich in meiner Feststellung und gibt es doch eine praktikable Lösung ohne Konvertierung mit Hilfsprogrammen?Bin für jede Hilfe dankbar, sonst fliegt

Nach dem Import der Videos von der Festplatte auf Premiere Elements laufen dort die Filme mit ca. doppelter Geschwindigkeit ab.Wie läßt sich dies auf "Normalgeschwindigkeit" zurückstellen?

Premiere Elements 2018 apparently does not have a video noise reduction option to reduce grainy video.  I'm aware that NeatVideo has a plugin for purchase, but would like to know if there is an open source plugin to reduce grainy video noise?

I created a 13 minute show using both still images and video for a travel site we use.  After uploading it to their site they posted it.  The images and videos are fine but the dissolves deteriorate significantly.I used film dissolves for the majority of the show.Any idea why?I also burned a DVD that is fine and the program looks fine when I play the MP4 version on my computere.Thanks

At first sorry for my bad english. I bought the german version of Premiere Elements and klickt on "Benutzerhandbuch" (User-Guide) and all happened is that this side https://helpx.adobe.com/de/premiere-elements/user-guide.html was opened in the browser. Just some Tutorials I do not need for my "Problems".Is there a possibility to find a older existing Version of a manual in german language ??? Greetings

HelloI need this fixed right now as I need it and paid for it.I used it last week and today it wont open. I have also tried launching the application only - still does not work. It keeps loading and loading then the tab disappears.How do I fix this? And where is the support chat? Regards,Andreas

Lorsque l’on fait une mise à jour d’Adobe première élément, nous devrions enregistrer le programme ouvert avec la nouvelle version, sous un autre nom, et contrôlez dans les réglage (préférence, disque d’enregistrement que le nom du fichier soit correcte.) Ce qui nous permettrait de garder la version précédente.Adobe pourrait faire que l’enregistrement soit automatiquement enregistré sous le nom suivit de la version d’Adobe premières élément, ce qui éviterait bien des problèmes aux utilisateurs.Sous Windows, il faut régler sur les propriétés des fichiers « .prel » (bouton droit de la souris), Ouvrir avec (Adobe première élément 2020, 2021, ou 2022).   JPG

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2018. I want to reduce video noise in a clip. The instructions say to go to Advanced Adjustments and select the Reduce Noise option, but no such option is found when I go to Advanced Adjustments.

I purchased Premier Elements 12 some years ago and due to work commitments didn't have time to use it.  I have just started copying some old VHS stuff, mostly old analogue camera stuff, onto DVD so that I can edit and save as MP4.   Not too challenging to import the DVD files into Elements, but saving as a MP3 file, which the brochure says it works with seems impossible.  I was thinking of upgrading to the Premier Elements 2022 version, but would rather spend my money elsewhere if it is not going to be possible to save the edited DVD video file as an MP4.  Can anyone advise if this is possible with the 2022 version please.

Hi I want to Add Audio to whatever video I am editing and when I get the audio from YouTube and put it on elements it says Add Media Failure and gives me an error message and I've been going online for this to help me and it did not work so I'd there any video that can help me with this problem

hello i was using a pc now im using a mac how does it work           

Original video is from iphone 12  4k quality looks great in both VLC and Quicktime. I edit and then export in PE 2021 with the BEST 4K setting possible and it comes out looking desaturated in both video viewers. Looks worse in QT but still not same quality in VLC as it was originally. This is very frustrating as it looks like i"m using a filter and I don't want that. Any suggestions what could be going on? Would upgrading to PE 2022 fix this?  See screen shot of video clip bleached out is after rendering at 4K (same settings as import) of the 2nd photo which is screen shot of the original. Hi, I bought Adobe Premiere Elements 13 in 2014 and it is now impossible to find the download link on the Adobe Website. Even on my personal account page.. Everytime the links move me on the 2019 and 2020 version instead.. No way to find the older ones. How can I retrieve it? Many thanks in advance for your help! Fabio
