Premiere Elements

 I just got the latest Elements/Premiere 2022 package a couple weeks ago.  When making a video and inserting a couple clips on the time line and then viewing it I notice at times the video will pause until I hit the start arrow buton again.  Once I save (export?) the video I never have any pauses and all seems fine.  Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?  I typically have the camera video setting at 29fps and shutter speed set at 1/60th.  I pick an aperture I deem appropriate, shoot in manual mode and set the ISO for automatic mode. Any help for a video novice would be appreciated.

Hi, I have been used to create Disc Menus with Chapters in Premiere Elements 2014. I purchased Premiere Elements 2021 recently, and this version has no option to burn Bluray Disc containing the Disc Menus as in Elements 2014. The only comparable option is to create a movie containing Disc Menus in mp4 format and to save it into hard disc. The problem is that my Disc Menus included in a movie are not showed when the movie is played  in VLC, W Media Player or KODI. Therefore I don´t see menus, I canť skip the chapters etc.... Does anyone know how to solve this or what am I doing wrong way? Creating Disc Menus or should I use some special setting in movie players?  Thanks, Petr

I'm using PE 2021. I want to overlay 2 videos and I want one video to be 100% on right and the other to be 100% on the let of the screen but I want them to blend into each other in the middle- trying todoa memory effect in a music video. I was thinking I could do this with garbage matte but 1. new version of garbage matte doesn't have any 'points' for me to grab and drag. Only numbers to assign to points. Too time consuming for me to expereiment hit or miss with.  And if I was able to figure that out, how would I fade or blend the edges of the matte area into the rest of the video?  I've searched on youtube for tutorials on this kind of thing but no luck! THANKS!!

Hi Group, This is my first question/post and trust I'm doing it right. I'm using Premiere Elements and trying to stop my project from repeating every time I get to the end of my Timeline. I then have to manually drag or fast forward to the end. I have researched like crazy if there's an auto-loop button somewhere, but no luck I'm reaching out if you or anybody else can help, thanks.    Ted

Old video files that need converted for clipped and I'm not sure Adobe Premiere will support them all with Windows 10.  File types are AVI, DIVX, ASF, MPEG, WMV, MP4 and FLV.  Can anyone tell me if these all work with Premiere?  

When I go to "clip", "time stretch" the speed box is greyed and and can't be accessed.Any suggestions on a fix?

Is there a way in Prem Elements to add multiple markers at certain beats to a music clip? I've tried he Beat Marker function and it doesn't work properly. I've tried a few different settings. In Prem Pro, I can double click the music clip, play it and mark each beat simply by pushing the M key. I was hoping there was something similar in Prem Elements.  Thanks in advance.

Haven't done a slideshow for 2 years and having a problem.     I have downloaded photos and dragged onto project bar but they are not appearing in monitor panel.    Anybody any suggestions please?    Ann 

I've been searching for an answer to this to no avail: I have Premiere Elements 9, which has been adequate, and I didn't have the money to upgrade.  Now I'm ready to do so, but the newest version 2021 (and now 2022) requires a PC with a sixth-generation processor.  Mine is only second-generation.  I checked older versions and found the newest version I can run is v2020.  I was able to download it as a trial version and it does run OK, but I can't figure out how to buy it.  When I try, I'm taken to the page to buy the latest version, which I can't run.  If I buy v2022, will that activate v2020?  Is there some way to buy an older version that I'm not seeing?  I can find it on eBay but it costs much more than buying direct from Adobe, which has it on sale frequently.  It will likely be several years before a 6th-gen PC is cheap enough for me to buy one, and I'd like to use a newer version of PE long before then!

I want to download video from my Sony DCR camcorder using a firewire connection, but Premiere Elements doesn’t seems to recognize the device.  I can play video using WinDV.  Doing a Google search (I am new to Adobe Premier) it seems like in previous versions you cannot use a firewire and Adobe Premiere to download video.  Is this correct?  Is it best to use WinDV for all video?  I have about 20 cassettes worth of video I would like to download.  Is the quality using WinDV good or is there a better option?  Thank you in advance.

Hi, Can I open a Premiere Pro working file inside Premiere Elements? An editor wants to share a timeline from Premiere Pro for me to work off of… but I’m not sure if that will work.

Had a crash with a laptop with premiere elements 18 (2020). Good backup of all adobe files.Bought a new laptop, installed a trial version of 2022 and replaced the backup.Starting an exinsting project cannot find the media, although all are available in the copied backup files.All are there: .prl. prev. etc.How do I recontact the foto's, video's and music? 

Hi!For Fade Out there is Blend Mode dropdown with lots of options.- when set to Normal it fades out to black.- when set it to any other option - it doesn't fade out at all.Why? 

I have a new hi end PC using windows 10 with Premiere Elements 2022 loaded. Video that is crisp on another PC using elements 15, is very poor when editing on my new pc? Particularly the freeze frame images. I dropped video into the timeline first to ensure the presets recognised my video correctly.

Working with PE2021 on a WIN10 PC... When I insert a .jpg file into the timeline that is a photo or screenshot from a Smartphone, the graphic is scaled to the vertical limits with significant black bars left & right.  "Scale To Framesize" is enabled for this graphic.  Thats understood. What I am at a loss to find out it how to move this graphic to the right-hand-side of the frame so that I can add some explanatory text in Video 2 to the left of the graphic. All advice gratefully received.

I downloaded the trial version which was the 2019 version and it worked ok so I bought a license and was directedto install the new 2022 version. Now that version wont play  any clips without corrupting the picture with green patches and smears Ive spent hours asking for advice on here and been directed to graphics card driver updates which I have done with no effect.I have a 3 year old HP 7th gen i7  processor with two graphics adaptors. a Nvidia 950M which i find from the Adobe site is not compatitble with elements 2022 and an Intel HD 620 which Adobe says is compatible. Both have up to date drivers. Ive tried disabling each graphics adaptor in turn but nothing works. So I thought I would uninstall PE2022 and try PE 2021 but no, when I try to activate it im told my license key is invalid.So Ive bought a product which is not fit for purpose, which in the UK means I am able return it and get my money back - BUT HOW!there seems no way of communicating with the vendor exce

I am using APE 15. I have an aerial clip of landscape that is slowly panning right to left. I would like to add labels next to geographical features. I know how to add text to a clip but is there any way for the text to pan with the object?

 I downloaded the trial of Premiere Elements 2021 and tried to make a movie using MP4 files. Got an error message.  Then I tried to make a movie with AVI files. Got an error an error message: "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed."I am not going to purchase the product.  I suggest other people try it out, they may want to look for a product that will work with the files they have.  

I have owned Elements 14 for several years. During this time I have had one computer die and two computers wiped and sold.I now want to install Elements on my laptop and Windows 11 desktop, but I have just got a message from Adobe saying the serial number is being used on too many devices. In fact it is only one. The one I got the message on.How do I contact Adobe to get this sorted out? Any help greatly appreciated. Alasdair

Hello,I've recently been getting into making youtube videos using Premiere Elements 2021. Everything was going fine until a new update came out, and premiere tried downloading it automatically but froze/crashed in the process. After that I've had a series of issues with the program, specifically, rendering video playback so that I can actually edit without the playback being very choppy/stuttering. First, the rendering process would freeze anywhere from 15-20min in to a render. It would just get stuck on frame (Rendering Frame X of Y) and I'd have to cancel it or close the program. After testing out new preferences/settings and updating my Graphics Card Driver, I am now unable to even render the first frame (it gets stuck Rendering Frame 1 with an estimated time of 353141:4...) I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Elements multiple times with multiple versions to no avail. This has been very frustrating as its made editing videos much more difficult since all my playb
