We are happy to announce the release of Adobe Bridge Beta (14.1.1)   We have been tracking the issues reported on the latest release version of Bridge and have been working on fixing those issues. This Beta release contains several user-reported bug fixes.   Steps to install/update   Install: Go to the Creative Cloud desktop app > Apps > select Beta apps. Then select install for your beta app.   Update: Go to the Creative Cloud desktop app > Apps > click on View updates, and check for updates. Then click update for your beta app.   Fixed Issues   Keywords are not imported correctly in case of long keywords file Bridge does not get launched on Mac OS Bigsur If any selected filename contains an apostrophe then Photoshop is brought to the foreground but the Image Processor dialogue box never appears. Files selected after a "Find" do not remain selected after closing "Find."   Note: As always, the update will be rolled out incrementally. May continues to bring good things for the Substance 3D ecosystem. After last week’s major new release of Substance 3D Painter, we’ve just released the latest versions of Substance 3D Sampler and Substance 3D Stager!   Sampler now includes a range of features powered by Adobe Firefly. First up is Text to Pattern (AI). Type in a text prompt for a pattern, and Sampler will generate four tileable patterns that can be used to form the basis of a new material. In all, this means fast and effortless creation of patterned materials.     Another new feature in Sampler: Image to Texture (AI). You can now use a photo or image as a reference to generate tileable textures, allowing you to iterate quickly, with more control over final results. These textures can then be used as materials in Sampler.   This release of Sampler also includes Text to Texture (AI), which we debuted in March. Type in a text prompt and generate a selection of photorealistic textures. That is, you can work faster, with more freedom for creative iteration.   In Substance 3D Stager, we’re highlighting Generative Background (AI), which also leverages the power of Adobe Firefly. Here again, a simple text prompt allows you to generate a background scene, into which you can place your 3D objects as needed. Stager will then match lighting and perspective as needed. Version 4.4 Substance 3D Sampler 4.4 introduces three new generative workflows as beta: Text-to-texture, Text-to-pattern and Image-to-texture.   Generative AI features are only available on Adobe version as it requires an Adobe account. Therefore, these features are not available on Steam.   Release date: 23 May 2024 Text-to-texture   Text-to-texture allows you to explore a new way of creating materials with a text prompt. You can generate a tiled texture from a detailed text description, and keep building on the result via Image-to-material or any Sampler filter to make it uniquely yours.  Image-to-texture   With Image-to-texture you can create tiled square textures from your own reference image, no matter if it is non square and non tiling. This gets you closer to your desired results without needing to write the perfect prompt. Image-to-texture can also help you save time by creating variations from content you have already created. Text-to-pattern   The Text-to-pattern feature will use your text prompt to generate a square tiling pattern.
