Questions

I use Reader at home mostly to read magazines & books.  I like these to always open in two-page view with a cover page.  You would think that most books & magazines would automatically set this in the creation, but no.  I set my default view to two-up view and zoom to fit page.  This works for maybe half.  When it does work, they show with a cover page.  So I set the override to two-up and fit page, but know NOTHING shows with a cover page.  How can I set it to force a cover page?

I'm having trouble filling out the company name change form "540 Certificate" to update your company name, it keeps giving me an error message. Someone told me to save the PDF File first then open Adobe to attach the saved file, I'm so confused on why the Secretary of State website didn't just have this updated on their website.

Hello,I have been trying to timestamp a document using a tsa but can't due to this error SigValue is 729 bytes than exepected.Here are some details about the TSA Responder Certificate:It's using a key length of 3072 RSAThe private keys are generated in a hardware security module  Has someone experieced this issue before?  The issue at hand is the way Adobe parses the responses because on the server side, i can see that a timestamping token was generated.

Already have continious scrolling enabled in preferences and page display. Adobe scrolls about 1/3 speed of literally every other application based on the global scroll setting. 

Since Adobe Reader has updated to 2025.001.20744 prints are now only printing like the attached example which is chopping off most of the page.  PDFs print ok if loaded in Microsoft Edge. Setup a clean machine, installed Adobe reader 2025.001.20693 and printed and was ok.  Did Help...check for updates which updated and then the issue occurs.Printing to PDF and then loading the failed output back into Adobe reader seems to result in blue sections on the page when you click.

Just within the past two days I now have to use an upgraded version of PDF that is forcing me to create a new signature. When I take and use a new photo of my signature, it looks terrible on the document, including a shaded area behind my name. In the previous version of PDF all I had to do was click on the drop down and select my signature which had a transparent background and looked great on the document. What happened????

I didn't know I had acrobat installed, it came with an update or something. I don't want it at all but it changed all my normal pdf files to acrobat files which has me confused. How do I change the files back to just displaying PDF instead of an Adobe Acrobat Document? Is there a difference? Can it be fixed by removing Adobe?

We use Adobe Reader on our terminal servers and it had been working perfectly fine up until recently. For the last couple of months Adobe Reader has decided to automatically upgrade itself to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC every once in a while, asking all currently logged in users to sign into Adobe Reader with their Adobe ID, which they don't have because our company doesn't have any Acrobat Pro licenses. This will sometimes happen once in two weeks, or twice in two days! It seems sporadic and happens on all of the server in the farm.As soon as I receive a report that Adobe is asking a user to sign in, I check the Application log in Event Viewer on that server for event 11707 and lo and behold, there's an event in there from a few minutes ago saying something like: "Product: Adobe Acrobat DC (64-bit) -- Installation operation completed successfully." To fix this, I've had to uninstall Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and install Adobe Reader from https://get.adobe.com/reader while the

I have never had this happen, but whenever I attempt to print a pdf, it opens a "save as" box instead.  So I've saved the pdf to my desktop, but after it's opened again I select print and the same "save as" box pops up again.  The ONLY way I've been able to print is by right-clicking the pdf file from my desktop.  Only then does it actually print.I'm using Adobe X Reader (version 10.1.7).  Why doesn't it allow me to print a pdf when the app is open?

I've seen this come up a few times on a google search. Attempted to delete and re-install a few times to no avail.I ran through the suggestions on this page:https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/adobe-acrobat-pro-not-responding-and-constanly-crashing-windows-11/m-p/13007623#M366676 but this did not resolve either. I'm not doing anything too demanding. Literally opening a single pdf and have to wait 10-15 seconds of Not Responding before I can do anything.Running windows 11 64-bitI've tried running in administrator mode (which is annoying as you have to always press OK on the dialogue box before opening) and as others have pointed out, cannot run in compatibility mode as the options only go up to windows 8. Bizarrely, I had no problems until I upgrade to a paid version (so I could get signatures) and this is when I 1st started noticing the problem. Is this the reason? Or just coincidence

Hi, I use Acrobat Reader for editing pdf's that are saved on a network drive at work. Often times in the filalble fields I am typing the same or similar things and historically Reader would provide a list of suggestions to autofill with. Recently it has stopped doing so without any change in settings. I've tried to troubleshoot and have gone to the forms section of preferences and verified that the auto-complete is on (currently set to advanced) but it is still not working. Any thoughts?  

Buenas, estoy un poco perdido en todo esto y no sé cómo puedo hacerlo. Tengo hecho un catálogo de productos con Acrobat lo he guardado en la nube y lo quiero compartir con clientes. Cuando lo comparto me da un enlace el cual lo envío a los clientes y cuando lo pinchan se les descarga mi catálogo. El problema que tengo es que si del catálogo modifico algo, precios fotos....etc y lo guardo de nuevo en la nube sobreescribiendo el anterior, el enlace que le mandé a los clientes no se modifica Se modifica si vuelvo a compartir y genera un nuevo enlace con el engorro que es mandar un nuevo enlace cada vez que se modifica algo.Se que se puede hacer pero no se cómo, alguien me puede ayudar.Gracias

The save command is grayed out when I open a .pdf document in the Acrobat Adobe Reader viewer. I used to "save as" once opened, but now this command is not working properly, I think it happened after an operating system update (windows 10), so I thought this was related to it, but I can say...The keyboard short Shift-CTRL-S is not working either... but it used to work and it works with other files like .odt or .docThe point is: why could I do save and save as when already have the pdf document opened (pdf viewer) before and now this button is grayed out and cannot do save or save as anymore? I'm not doing nothing wrong using Acrobat Adobe Reader DC, because I do exactly the same of what I used to, and it always worked, so now it's something different...Please help!!Thanks in advance!!

A recent update has completely changed the placement of tool bar and menu. I don't know why Adobe does this so frequently. It is really inefficient. I've looked at other discussions and F9 on the keyboard doesn't restore the old layout. Previously tools were on the right hand side and the menu (zoom, page number etc.) was at the top. Now tools are on the top left, and the menu is on the bottom right. Please help. 

Hello, I am fairly new to my new role in IT and my sales team uses remote desktop sessions to operate. Recently, one of the reps signed into thier personal Pro account for Acrobat, but didn't realize it would share that with the rest of the team. Now everyone is having issues opening PDFs because it will continue to prompt them to login when they don't have an account to use. We just want to use the free Reader. I have completely done a fresh install of Acrobat and checked to make sure Windows is not saving her credentials. I am at a loss here.

I am using Adobe Reader Ver 10.1.1 (All updates)   I have a pdf document in which I am unable to search for words. No words in the document are found even though they do exist. If I copy a word from within the document and paste it into the search criteria then instead of getting the word that I copied, I get substitute characters and it can in fact find these characters as the word being searched.   The document is a catalog and can be downloaded from the following URL.   http://www.carbatec.com.au/getcatalogue?zenid=d1cuvbat0ois0g37r0r33vnah1   I will appreciate any help as to why I cannot search for words in the document.

I have a new win 11 PC. Trying to install Acrobat Reader but get Error 150210. It seems I have to run Adobe cleaner but will that delete my Creative Cloud apps? e.g Photoshop .

When Adobe Reader DC replaced IX, I was very unhappy because DC took away important features for me, like adding text,  signing, comments, highlighting, etc. so I found XI and I am still using Adobe Reader XI.  Is it possible that those features have been reinstated with the current version of the FREE Reader DC?
