After opening and closing a pdf file in the latest version of Adobe Reader, I've noticed a bug. When I try to delete the recently viewed pdf file, I can't because Windows says that the program is open in another program. However, when I click details, there are no details. This is exasperating. I have never had this problem before when I've worked with pdf files. Please help.

Hello Folks, I have noticed that in my C Drive ProgramData/Adobe/ARM/S almost they took 10 GB, I got to know these are the old software updates, is it safe to delete the folder that are 3 months old, also each one of has contain AdoveARM.MSI and AdobeARMhelper Application file

Good morning,I need your support regarding an issue I'm experiencing when trying to sign a document using a digital signature certificate in Adobe Acrobat on a Mac device running the latest versions of macOS Sequoia.When using a physical token, the cryptographic device does not allow the signature process to complete. Although I can draw the signature field, it seems that the system is not connecting to the Keychain, and therefore the certificate is not being retrieved or shown for selection. It just gets stuck at that point without any further action.We have already performed several validations, including associating the PKCS#11 library, and tested this behavior across multiple versions of Adobe Acrobat (from 2020 onward), all with the same result.Any insights from someone who has faced this issue or knows how to resolve it would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance for your support.

When I open a pdf it is automatically saved on my desktop. How do I cancel this function?

Iv purchased Adobe Acrobe Acrobat Reader premium for an annual 69.99 a year fee, but every time I get on it from my phone it says I'm a new user and I have to restore purchase I have done this approximately 7 times then a day or two goes by it works for a little while but then it happens again??? 

We have a problem with batch printing documents with Acrobat Reader 2024. The default application for pdf documents is Acrobat Reader on the computer. We select pdf documents in our software and print them in batches. Our software calls the application configured by default for PDFs on the computer. With Acrobat Reader 2015 documents are sent to the printer directly. With Acrobat Reader 2024, we must confirm printing for each document in an Acrobat Reader window before sending it to print. Is there a configuration for Acrobat Reader 2024 that must be set up to send documents directly to the printer in the same way as Adobe Reader 2015 does?   [Edited for ease of reading]

I just did ANOTHER fresh install of Adobe, because, ya know, it's Adobe. And now I can't get the search bar to go away. It's taking up too much space on my open documents tab and I want to boot it from this earth. How do I make the search bar disappear? It wasn't there 20 minutes ago before I reinstalled. So why can't I find a way to get rid of it now? Used to be a check box, used to be easy, used to like Adobe too, but that was year and years and years ago now.

Hello, I have two PCs and use the same personal certificate on both. One computer is running Windows 11 Pro, and the other is running Windows 11 Home. Adobe Acrobat Reader 2025.001.20531 (64-bit) is installed on both machines. The application can successfully sign documents digitally on the Windows 11 Pro computer. However, on the Windows 11 Home PC, nothing happens after clicking the "Sign" button. The signing window just blinks but does not complete the signature. Other applications on the same Windows 11 Home machine are able to sign documents with this certificate without any issues. Why does Adobe Acrobat Reader fail to sign on the Windows 11 Home computer? Thanks

Desde hace unas semanas no me funciona bien la IA de la extensión de adobe reader de Chrome, cuando selecciono un texto del documento para preguntarle al asistente de IA, siempre selecciona lo mismo, aunque cambie de página o de párrafo, no se como arreglarlo, ya desinstalé la extensión, actualicé el navegador, etc.

Hi,I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and the last page of this PDF is not loading with this error message loading:An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem. I'm the person who created it  and i've changed the last page to see if it was something wrong with the content but it's still displaying this..Any help is appreciated!

Hi, I recently downloaded Adobe Reader XI. For PDFs that are already saved to my computer, whenever I comment on them (add text) and click Save, Adobe Reader always interprets that as "Save As" for the file and wants me to give it a name even though it already has one. When I give it the name it already has, Adobe Reader asks me if I want to replace the existing file. Does anyone know how to change this?? This is the case each time the PDF has been commented on. It is so very annoying. There aren't protections or locks on the PDFs that I 'm aware of. Thanks!

When opening a PDF with the latest version of Acrobat Reader (2025.001.20630),I encounter display issues with images inside the PDF.(This problem occurs only with 24-bit images; 8-bit, 4-bit, and 1-bit images are not affected.)Could this issue be related to a bug introduced in the recent update?Is there any configuration or workaround that could resolve this problem?

Hi,say that I draw a comment shape (e.g. an oval) in Acrobat Reader. Initially it is without any text. You can add a text in the comment pannel or in the pop-up note. But you also do not need to add any text.Say that I have added some text. How can I delete the text without removing the comment shape completely?

Opening a PDF in Outlook 365 preview then clicking on the "open" button (default PDF application is adobe reader) result in Window Application error. The pdf opens correctly, no Win Event Log entry created.  Tried repair, reinstall (both Adobe reader and Officer 365), turning off protected mode. Same issue with Outlook 365 classick and "new" versions. The error repeatable, happening every time.

Hello,I use Adobe Reader Acrobat DC, when I send a PDF with the “send a link or attach this file to an email” tool. It opens a new email but in plain text.so I have to change the text format and insert the signature in the new e-mail that Outlook opens for me. I've scoured the forum with various solutions, but it doesn't work. Hello, I have been trying for about a week to download the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. I have a brand new desktop computer with Windows 11. It meets the system requirements for the download. I open the Reader_en_install from my downloads and double click on it. It starts downloading but once it gets to about 80 or 90% downloaded, it stops and says there is an error. This has happened at least a dozen times. It doesn't say what type of error. I shut down my computer and turn it back on. I restart it. I have gone to the troubleshooting pages and tried the suggestions, including trying to download with different browsers, but nothing works. I'm not sure what is going on. It should be easy. Does anyone else have this issue? Can anyone out there help? 

 I own a HP Z2 Small Form Factor G5 Workstation (9FW01AV) which is installed with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit Version: 26100.6584. I purchase Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro when it was first launched and have used it until recently when it became unable to complete certain basic tasks. I uninstalled the software conventionally, via Windows Settings, with the objective of installing Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, obtained directly from the Microsoft Store. For whatever reason, I have been unable to install the specific reader application. Typically, what happens, is a larger file is installed, which appears to contain a trail version of a major Adobe application. Despite attempting to uninstall the complete Adobe package and reinstall just the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, my efforts have thus far been decidedly uncussessful. Does anyone have a definitive method of accomplishing my objective. All advice and suggestions would be gratefully received.

Hello everyone, I get an error, when I open a PDF with desktop app in SharePoint Online > "Open in Adobe Document Cloud" > "https://documentcloud.adobe.com/spodintegration"   > "Open in Desktop App" Error There was an error opening this document. This thing is bothering me because I tried to look up for support, I tried re-installing Chrome, Adobe Reader and also installing an other PDF Viewer program, but every time I set the app as default app for the .pdf format the downloaded file is instantly opened even if I don't want to. I also tried previous versions of Adobe Reader and it didn't work as well. I really need it to stop because I have to download a lot of files for University and I don't want to be forced to close these windows every time after the download.What can I do? Also, I would rather not change browser as I don't want to re-insert all the passwords and favourites again.

Hi All, Is there a way to disable or hide the Signature Panel for documents that were digitally signed?    

I bought a sewing pattern recently, and wanted to print a layer from it, but when I open it up with Adobe Reader the layers option is not visible. I have added the icon into the lefthand side bar but the layer icon is empty when selected? This seems to be happening with nearly all my patterns that I have bought. I am confident that there are layers within the pdf pattern as i have discussed it with fellow users from the FB chatter page. And nobody else seems to have this issue... plus the instructions for the pattern explains how to print the required layer needed.please help! Why are the layers not active in Adobe reader?

Latest update moves page up/down arrows around based on page number/name length. Is there a way to stop them from moving around?Is this an oopsy on Adobe's part that'll get patched?See .gif file below showing the problem.
