Xd does not seem to be able to fully support color fonts. Normal color glyphs use SVG or PNG data included in the font as glyphs. However, if a color glyph is not available in the font, outline data is retrieved from the font and used for display. If you enter a character that uses this outline, Xd will not apply the specified color to this font.In case of the font contains svg table like "貂明朝", Most characters fall back to the outline data, but Xd does not apply the specified color to characters.

We are currently trialling Adobe XD to share documents for review across the business but have a few issues. Many people across the business needs this so we create a shared link for anyone to view. Unfortunately, they cannot seem to tag each other unless that person makes their own comment in XD. If they already have a free reviewer account under our organisation, shouldnt we be able to just tag anyone in the business without them having to comment in the prototype first? The only way around is is to manually invite every stakeholder to review but that would take hours to fill out over 100 people. Thanks

I'm trying to create a Repeat Grid using (Text + icon + button)when i tried to change the text and the button everything works great, But once i tried to change the icon the repeat grid repeated the same icon throughout the blocks and don't replace it for each one.Any ideas how to fix this?The Title was edited by Moderator.

I would like to turn off the new spellcheck/autocorrect feature in XD but don't see an easy way to do so. We use an icon font set for adding icons to our designs and since I have updated to the latest version, XD is autocorrecting my entries - for example, one of the icons has a character mapping of "n" but XD corrects it to "N" because it thinks I am starting a sentence and wants to capitalize it. This also assumes that I always want to start typing with a capital letter no matter what the situation. There is one other issue that I find annoying, and that is that XD adds a period (.) if I add more than two spaces between words. This has been happening for a while, not just in the new version. Even Word or other word processing programs don't assume that I have just ended a sentence. This is totally unnecessary and adds no value, because I then have to manually go back and remove the period from the line of text, and then it keeps happening and I don't have a way to stop it the next ti

Hi, Hope you all are doing good. I'm facing an issue in downloading Adobe xd project files from my creative cloud account. When I open the work file, there are options to copy, move and view the preview of xd file, however there is no option to download the work file. Can any one face the same issue or educate me, is there an alternate option to download the old Adobe XD files which was synced and stored in Adobe creative cloud account?

InVision Studio provides a simple way of updating or replacing images as fills (no resizing or reimporting necessary). See attached screenshot below.This rather fundamental action appears to be missing with XD and costing me valuable production time. Olá pessoal.Já faz um tempo que percebo um bug no meu XD, quando vou editar textos, algumas vezes ele buga e não consigo mais inserir textos. quando isso acontece afeta todo o XD, inclusive itens da interface como por exemplo se eu quiser inserir um tamanho especifico nas medidas de formas e etc. Em algum casos a barrinha de digitar que fica entre os caracteres some, nesse caso eu só consigo apagar mas não inserir novas letras.Eu uso o adobe xd para windows. Meu pc é um dell, core i5, com a versão mais recente do windows. Não sei se o problema é do meu PC ou se é do software. Em todo cass deixo aqui meu feedback. ❤️

Helo, I am aware how to create a fixed position for a back to  top like but is is possible to add top paddng and have it appear futher down the scroll outside of the viewport yet still have its fixed positioning? If so, then how would this acheved? Thanks.

Recently, my students have been attempting to purchase Adobe XD without having to buy the entire Creative Cloud suite, but they seem to be encountering difficulties.Could you please confirm whether Adobe XD has been discontinued as standalone software? If so, does this mean that it is no longer possible to purchase it as an individual software product?I would greatly appreciate any information or guidance you can provide regarding this matter.

Hey, I'm trying to figured out if my links created in an Adobe XD document are going to work once I exported to PDF, so far doesn't work, is that normal? HELP PLEASE ? I'm new in XD  

I have been trying for the last two days to update a link of a project so the client can see the update.  I updated the link with no problem and suddenly yesterday it gives me the message " You're disconnected. Check your internet connection and try again." I have tried to create a new link, I have tried to create a new project, I have tried to save it to the cloud. I have tried these to a different project. I have tried with ethernet and wifi. All give me the same message. I use an iMac and I have the last update on the XD. My internet connection is perfect and everything else works perfectly. I send it to a colleague that uses a different adobe account and she could create a link perfectly... for now. (No one knows what will happen next). I have seen that others have the same problem but there is no answer here, only direct.   This is an important bug and I am in a difficult spot right now, since today at 2:00 pm I had a deadline and I couldn't deliver to my client. Since today I can't open my cloud document properly anymore. The file gets loaded and then shows a popover with "syncing". This popover stays open forever (I left it running for 1 hour) and the file can't be accessed. This means I'm blocked from my professional work and can't access my files anymore!

Is anyone else experiencing this? When I search on my files from CC, all of the resulting files that show up take me to the adobe support page, vs. opening the actual file like it usually does.  

Hello, I would like to know more about the impact of Figma's rising popularity on Adobe XD. Please provide us with any insights or information on whether Figma is likely to surpass XD as the primary UI/UX design application. My team and I would greatly appreciate this information as we need to evaluate how it may affect our future design workflows and project collaborations. If Figma is not set to become Adobe's primary UI/UX design application, are there any upcoming updates or enhancements planned for Adobe XD that will bring it up to par with the tools and advanced features in Figma? Thank you.

Creative Cloud Libraries can not work on Adobe XD (but can work on illustrator and photoshop), when I drag an image from libraries, the images keeps loading forever:   Does any genius know how to fix it? Thanks.     {Title renamed by MOD}

Hi, I'm confused about what is going on with my prototype (first time I've used a video in a prototype.) I've used a video player template, placed a video within it, then created default, play and pause states--I'd like to show the main play icon first, then the small play icon, then the pause icon, as shown in my screenshots. The prototype is playing the video, but the states are not changing. The image directly below is the only state that shows while the video is playing. Can anyone help? Thank you!

It keeps giving me this error "It appears you are not eligible to download the app, or your computer does not meet minimum system requirements." I have it available on the creative pro suite, and my mac is up to date on everything.  Anyone know why this would be happening?

Hi, while embedding text in xd, I encountered a problem editing the text within xd itself, I downloaded the plugin and it still doesn't work. It is impossible to edit the content, it disappears as soon as you click on the text cube. I would appreciate your assistance 🙂

I'm working on a local file, and at some point, when I try to save, I get a message along the lines of "the file is not there anymore" or... I don't know, I didn't screencap it.   I proceed to verify that my file (Job_Description_v1.xd) is in fact still where I put it in my local machine. (It is, the screenshot shows it.) I try to overwrite the local file with "Save as" using the same name  (Job_Description_v1.xd), and a dialogue pops up with "The tag present in the reparse point buffer is invalid." and XD won't allow me to overwrite my file that way. I save as a different name (Job_Description_v1.1.xd) and this now works. The thing about this "workaround" is, I now I have to create and update all the links to the prototypes/specs again! If you prefer to work with local files DO NOT UPDATE TO 43.0.12, avoid it like the plague.   <Title renamed by moderator>

I've read all the articles on how adobe XD has all sorts of bugs when expeorting assets -- especially those assets made from components. What's worse, is it's clear Adobe is not fixing the issue. In short ...I've made sure this component has no drop shadows, no sizes in decimals and that every element is constrained within the rounded rectangle shape. NOTHING expands beyond it ...Here it is selected in XD (so you can see it is a compnent)And here it is after I export it (FILE/EXPORT/SELECTED) in PhotoshopAs you can see ... not only is it not cropped to the edge ... it's not even centered. But here's the worst part. I have several states of this module. They are identical in size and structure. I change the state, EXPORT and every instance is different in both size and "cropping" ... This means I need to rebuild every module from scratch in Photoshop -- making XD virtually useless to me as we enter the DEV stage. I just can't use XD for anything other than high-concepting. Today as i opened my XD-document i had to discover that the whole version history is named by the same date all of a sudden. And indeed, every version I open looks the same! Is it somehow possible to restore my marked versions? What could be the reason that this happened?! 

I don't know why, but each time I try to import a Lottie file wich includes AI assets I got an error on Adobe XD saying this is not a comptaible JSON File. Does anyone facing thie issue too?

It doesn't happen often but there are clients who aren't as savvy or fully understand the premise of an XD preview link. Sometimes this involves having to go into greater detail in regards to making sure the zoom setting is set to 100% when possible, that they can use the navigation buttons to move between artboards etc.  I'm thinking that in these rare cases it might just be worthwhile designing a cover sheet as the first slide to any preview link that provides clients with a bit of a 'how it works' introduction. I.e click this button to open/close the comments window, click this icon to display full screen etc. I'm curious if others have done this and how they went about designing/executing it?
