Questions

I have the new Olympus OMD EM 1 Mark II which requires Camera Raw 9.9 and above. I am using Elements 14 and have downloaded the latest version of Camera Raw but it has only uploaded the 9.5 plug-in version in my Elements. 1. Does anyone know if Elements 14 can support the raw files from Olympus OMD EM1 Mark II ? 2. Do you know how I can update Camera Raw to the 10.3 version in Elements 14? Thanks

Guys, I've posted this on behalf of a friend, who doesn't really know how to fix the problem.Maybe some of you have come across it and will be able to help out?Color profile in D850 is set to AdobeRGB.When he openes NEF file in Camera RAW 9.12.1, he does all adjustmentes and the minute the image ends up in Photoshop CC 2017, it seems like the colors are washed out, there is lack of contrast... Generally speaking, it's totally different image from this ascepcts point of view.Camera RAW is also set to AdobeRGB profile and NEF file being opened in CC has the same profile.The problem occurred when he updated the Camera RAW to version 9.12.1.Even now, when he opens NEF files from the other camera Nikon D800E, the problem is exactly the same.When Camera RAW has been downgraded to previous version, the files from D800E looked just fine, all adjustmentes were properly trasferred to CC 2017.Forgive me if the this issue have been mentioned before, but honestly speaking I couldn't find...I will a

I have a Pentax K-5 IIs, and have never been able to get Camera Raw's Camera Calibration to show anything but Embedded and Adobe Standard as the profile choices (nothing about Pentax at all).I just updated Photoshop CC a couple of weeks ago, and heard that  Camera Raw's Profiles has been significantly updated, but it doesn't seem to have been changed at all on my version.I have an iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014, with High Sierra OS. Oh, and I only shoot RAW. My file extension is DNG. I know that my Pentax is supposed to be supported.I read (I think - it wasn't really clear) that I need a Plug-In, but I don't know what the name of the plugin is - just searching for "Adobe Camera Raw Profiles Plug-In" hasn't found anything. How do I find it?I also went to my Photoshop's Help>Find Plug-Ins & Extensions, but that brought me to an Adobe page with thousands of Plugins for special effects, most for sale, and doing a search within that page for Camera Raw Profiles didn't bring

Good morning, For several weeks I have been trying (with Adobe DNG Convertor) to getmy pictures converted from my Nikon Coolpix B700  to DNG. I succeeded onetime but the other times he doesn’t find the images in the selected map, evenwhen the camera is connected to the computer with a cable. I have installed the program also on a laptop (both Windows 10) but thisalso didn’t work. On an Apple Macbook from a colleague I did succeed toconnect. All the different Codec’s, which were advised by Nikon, are alreadyinstalled. The program isn’t mentionded in the list of installed programs. What should I do to get the program up and running? Cause otherwise I’monly able to create pictures in JPEG. Kind regards, Ton Outside.

If I use the DNG converter will it also convert my jpeg files? I have both my jpeg and raw files in same folder!

Recently ACR has been acting up. When moving any of the adjustment sliders the image flickers and pixelates. It's very distracting. Is anyone else having this problem?

I have used Camera Raw 9.1.1 to modify some jpg images.  I want to share the modified images with family members.  Most default viewers of jpg images will only show the original jpg image before the changes.  How can I collapse the changes so that the images can be viewed more widely by common jpg viewers?

Hi.I'm quite new to this, haven't used this forum before and am not very technically minded so apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place. I'm using CC and didn't have any problems until last week and I'm not aware that anything has changed / been updated on the software I'm using. When I open a file in Adobe Raw (10.3) the image appears as being corrupted (it appears as rows of parallel diagonal lines). If I click "open image" the distorted photograph appears as normal in Photoshop. This is happening with raw files taken on my Canon 5D mkiii and Olympus EM1 mkii.I have tried re installing Camera RAW. The Camera Raw CC app says it is up to date but appears greyed out in Adobe Creative Cloud.Any ideas / can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks,Bryan

I just made a color profile from a scan of a color checker classic, using the Colorchecker Passport application.  The output is a DCP profile, which used to be importable in ACR. Now it only seems to take XMP files. Does anybody know a way to make this work?

Hi, all my images are opening like this in RAW I have tried everything I know but no success. Has anybody seen this issue before.Any help is much appreciated.

I get a message that my camera is not recognized.  All raw images from this camera  worked before when I had Windows 7.  The only change is to the software.

Hello everyone.I've a big issue on camera raw since some month, and actually is going impossible to work with it.Everytime that i open an image and i try to work on it, when i move any cursors i see some square (with the same image in it, or trasparent background, etc) that changes it dimension and position if i move again the cursor (see the video below)I tried to re-install PS and CR, to update the drivers of my graphic card, to disable the GPU acceleration/support, but nothing works.Someone could help me please?

OS 10.11.6 using PS CS6 and trying to instyal latest DNGconverter as it will not open Nikon D850 .nef files. Trying to update camera raw by downloading DNGConverter but it is stuck on "verifying "converter ......"tried several time no luck (not even 10_2 worked same issue)  - is this the only way to upgrade raw for CS6 ? Selecting update takes me to Creative Cloud and only the CC version has an updated raw ...(prefer to use CS6 even though I have Cloud programs)

HelloCan anyone tell me please why I am suddenly getting the following error every time I try to run Camera Raw filter in PS CC (Win 10 64 bit)"could not complete the camera raw filter command because of a program error"I've searched google and this site for this error message but come up  with nothing.I would rather not reinstall if there is another fix. I recently bought the XH1 camera by Fuji and camera raw doesnt open up.I downloaded both camera raw plug ins 10.3 and 9.12.1  and it still doesnt work.What do I do? I need to convert files today for a job deadline tomorrow. Help! @

I just downloaded the DNG Converter 10.3 for the conversion of RAW-Files of my SONY RX100 V to Lightroom 6. The installation of the converter fails with the hint that Mac OS Version 10.11 or higher is requested. I have already updated my Mac to OS Version 10.13. Has anyone an idea to solve the issue? I am exporting files from Photomechanic to launch in ACR, I make changes to the raw files, and press 'Done' as I dont want to save or open the files just yet. When I open them later on in the day - none of the amendments have been preserved. That being said, there is an inconsistency as some of the files have retained some changes. I have tested this many times and am sure I am not going mad! Any ideas?Many thanks

I have dual monitors.  When i view in adobe bridge, color looks normal.  When it is opened in camera raw the photos appears very saturated and once open in PS its normal again.Please help!  I am not sure how to deal with this.  I tried switching to different profiles etc...its not working.Thanks in advance!Moderator: Moved to Adobe Camera Raw

Files converted using this latest version are not recognised by all relevant photo editing software (eg Luminar 2018, DXO Photolab), while  older versions are recognised. Why is this? What has happened in version 10.3 that causes this?
