Hi All I'm creating a captivate package. Within the package all seems to track correctly. When I export it as a SCORM I seem to have tracking issues within the LMS. I thought the LMS was the issue but if I alter settings in the main project it does affect the tracking. Any advice? Screenshots of my quiz settings attached

Learner views all slides and passes the course criteria, watches the video, and slides objects checked as complete. The learner returns to the lesson a month later, and the user must repass all course criteria to continue.It is forcing leaner to retake the lesson.I need help finding a solution that works. I have tried many suggestions from other posts, but I can't seem to fix Captivate from crashing. I have reached out to Adobe support, no response yet. And I have some Modules ready. Can I lean on the forum to help troubleshoot what could be happening?

Multiple video on responsive slides are able to play on web browser.I click on live preview on devices in Adobe captivate 2019, it only show one video playing. Is there a way to play multiple videos on one side in android devices? 

Hey,   in the first Slide of my Projekt I´m executing a Javascript code in the Script Window to generate random questions that are stored in an array and then go to the next slide. In the next slide I want to use the same array to generate a new random question and delete the previous one so that it can appear only one time.   How can I get and set javascript Variables - that are difined in the Script Window on a slide - from other sliders ? any help would be appreciated ^^    

All I want to do is pay an annual subscription for 2 Captivate licenses,  and I've been going in circles for 6 months. There is no path to a place to provide payment in the Admin Console. After several frustrating chats with support, I was finally told I needed an account manager to process payment,  and a week later I got a call from an unknown number that left no message -- turns out that was the adobe rep. I had a very nice conversation over email and was shown where to update my credit card information, and did so immediately. That was 6 weeks ago. Today I got an email from Adobe saying my account balance was overdue -- for the exact amount of the two Captivate subscriptions. Really, in 2022, why can I not provide payment thru the website of a company the size of Adobe???   

I am very new to this technology and to Captivate so apologies in advance!  I created a virtual tour for my company through Captivate on my desktop computer. Today, I downloaded Captivate on my laptop and opened up the virtual tour file. The virtual tour is made up of 360 photos with multiple hotspots on each photo. When I went to preview the project in HTML5, the hospots don't work. All other buttons do. However, the hotspots work perfectly fine when I preview the project in HTML5 on my desktop. I am doing the same exact thing on the desktop with the same exact file but it just won't work on my laptop. When I publish the file to my laptop and open it, the 360 photos do not show up at all (I'm assuming that's because they are not on my laptop yet). Not sure if it is an issue that occurred when transferring the file over to my laptop? The Captivate version I have is up to date and I am opening in the latest version of Chrome.  Please ELI5!

Hi I have set up a course for medical staff where they watch a series of Demo videos, complete some try me simulations and then are directed to attempt the assessment.The assessment consists of the completion of 4 mini simulations. The SME would like each assessment simulation to report a score (e.g.4/10, 8/10, 10/10, 5/10)Then have a total score to output on a results page once all are complete (e.g. 27/40  You have passed this module)Is this even possible?  I can only get the 4 mini assessments to output into one final Results page i.e. the score out of 40…Thank you

Please help!! We are having issues with the audio automatically and gradually increasing in volume. The issue is not apparent during recording, rather it occurs after being published. Preview does not show the same issues. Please advise on what we can do to mitigate this problem?

Hello! The SCORM is not grading and registering a 0%/Fail in our Moodle LMS. I was blaming the LMS but now I think there is some obscure setting in Captivate that I am missing. It must be grading because it has the "Congrats, you passed", yet the formulas do not seem to be calculating. I have compared the Quiz Pref to ones that are working and just cannot find a reason.Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would sure be appreciated. Thank you! Nancy  

We have eLearning modules with software simulation and some with quizzes as well.At the end of the module is it possible to solicit user feedback by maybe including a small form with about 2 to 3 questions, where the user submits it?

Hi Team, My Team member has got installed Captivate 11.8 Version in her machine.She is encountering this issue, where the preview is showing blank preview window. Without the preview, she has to go for HTML5 preview that is taking longer time than the other preview options. Can anyone kindly help me resolve this issue. Thank you! 

My co-worker created a responsive project, but she didn't really understand the use case for responsive design, and now we have a bunch of learners who can't view the HTML5 (they have antiquated browsers that they cannot update) and I need a quick fix. Is there a way to switch over the Flash\html5 version?I have to fix this tonight before I can go home, (my co-worker is conveniently on vacation). Can anyone help?Thanks!

I need to embed a video in my current project, and I want users to be able to skip back and forward, but I don't want a skin over the whole project. I used Vyond to animate and that only exports .mp4 files. First, I tried to add "Interactive Video," and use buttons keyed to specific bookmarks to achieve this. For example, My forward skip buttons worked this way: Once a bookmark is passed, the button keyed to it is supposed to time out and the next one should appear to replace it. The problem is, once I click on the skip button it won't dissapear like it's supposed to, so it jumps to that bookmark when clicked, no matter how many bookmarks are passed. As a solution I tried adding the video with "Insert video" up in the toolbar. That way, I could put a skin on just the one slide. that fixes the navigation problems, but when the video is paused it doesn't pause the slide. Hi - is there a way to disable the typing sound once you recorded it?I have deselected the sounds in preferences going forward - but don't want it in my current slide.

HelloI'm having a terrible time using adobe activated fonts in my responsive Captivate project. I have the fonts activated and one of the fonts shows as an adobe font in my Captivate project, but the other two do not. The other two are installed on my computer; however, when I uninstall them they still do not show as options for Adobe fonts in Captivate. I need the fonts for other projects as they are company fonts, so have to have them installed.I've tried going through Adobe's customer service assistance, and they were unable to get them to appear as Adobe fonts in Captivate as well.Ultimately, I need them to publish with my Captivate project on our LMS, as they look very different than the websafe fonts that replace them. Has anyone had this issue? How were you able to solve it?I have Adobe Captivate 2019 11.8.0.586

Hi,After publishing a video demo (Captivate 2019), the audio is extremely quiet for the first 2 or so minutes.  These are training videos and it is not a good end user experience.  Has anyone encountered this before and is able to provide a solution?  Many thanks in advance. 

Hi, I have published a demo video (done this many times before) in Captivate 2019.  However, when reviewing the published video (it is for training purposes), in sections, I can hear the trainers voice twice, talking over herself.  I cleared the background audio after I recorded the training.  I've subsequently gone back to the recording and checked and cleared the background audio (there was nothing there) and republished.  I can still hear the "voice over" in the background, despite all of this.  Can someone please provide me with advice on how to remove the doubled up audio / voices.  I need to get this training video out to users asap.  Many thanks.

Is it possible to use software simulations as random questions for an assessment?I would like my participants to complete software simulations rather than answer questions for an assessment. I need to have 10 pools with 5-10 questions in each pool. Between 1-5 questions to be used randomly for each pool in the assessment.

Hello, I am trying to record a video of my screen to create some content on how to use new software however I have come across a strange issue. No matter what I select to show in the demo (select window, application, set custom screen size), once the video is complete all I can see on the recording is the wallpaper of my computer. I can see the video of me in the corner and my curser moving around the screen but the window I'm working on is gone! When I am recording the video everything looks perfect and is definitely within the red box. I am using a Macbook if this is helpful. Can anyone offer any advice?

Hi there, I have published my SCORM 1.2 file and it is working well! The only exception is that when plugged into an LMS, the beginning screen's large play button does not actually begin the project. The play button in the lower left of the skin and player controls DOES work; the large one does not. Is this a browser issue? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Hi ThereThis is probably a long shot, but looking to see if anyone has had any expereience with this in the past.We are looking to create a SCORM elearning module, which has some 360 video sections to it, but wanting to have it run like a Driving Test Hazard identification.  So as the video plays and the user is looking around, we can have the hot spots appear and disapear using the timeline.I can have the hot spots appear at the correct time, but they just remain there for the rest of the video, which is not ideal for the type of video we will be using.   It is more of a fly through than a stationary clip.Another thing we would like to try and disable is the Hotspots pausing the slide.  Is there a way to have it so the video keeps playing even if the hotspot has not been pressed.   A pause in the video would make it obvious that we have placed a hazzard in that location.I know this is easy enough to do with the timeline, and various actions in a normal sl
