Is it possible to use Adobe connect in the browser and not the add on? We have some clients that are unable to install the add-on and would like to offer the meeting to them through their browser. Thank you!
Hello,Just try the trial version of Adobe Connect Webinar.So far it looks like the participants have to download the Adobe Connect software on their side.Is there any way around this? A lot of users are reluctant to download more than a simple plug in to join a webinar.Anyway they can do the webinar within their browser?Thanks in advance,Brian
How do I prevent individuals from rejoining an ended session? I want the room to stay closed once I close it as a Host.
When Mac Office 2016 came out, the Adobe Connect add-in couldn't talk to Powerpoint 2016. OK, fine, I'll keep using Powerpoint 2010.With the latest MacOS Sierra update (10.12.4) Adobe Connect is unable to use Powerpoint 2010, and I no doubt don'thave an earlier version of Powerpoint. It would seem that powerpoint presentation capability (.pptx conversion) would be a critical feature of Adobe Connect, and this would be tested. It's not OK to just say "Just save as .PPT, as that conversion handles embedded images soo poorly that they are illegible. It's been almost 6 months since this trail of problems started, what's the solution??
why cant i view the inserted videos (as mp4) or hear them? I have a few other audio files that I can hear (although i cant see the control bar to turn the audio off and on
Hi. I really hope this isn't a stupid question and I would really appreciate any insight! I see that presenters are advised not to use wifi, because the connection can drop. Would it be possible to use a turbo stick or other mobile internet hub instead, if a wired connection is not an option? Or would it be as unreliable as wifi? THank you!!!
Hi,I have installed the Adobe Connect add in twice now and I continue to see this message:I've clicked the "try again" link numerous times to no avail. I've attempted to use it in FireFox and I.E. and am having the same issue. I've reset all of my browser settings and cache, I've enabled flash and all other options in Chrome. I've restarted my computer and reinstalled the add-in. It appears as if the add-in is just not being detected at all. I'm running Windows 10 but I never had this issue on my previous windows 10 machine. I've searched google and other resources here and cannot find any solution to this. Can someone provide any help or ideas for troubleshooting? I've missed out on two business meetings now and can't fathom what's going wrong.
Hi have a problem with the syncro.I have recorded a webinair and now i want to export it in a mp4 file, but when i did it, the syncro is out.If i exported it in flv file, i don't have the problem..[Post moved to new thread - other thread was very old and this should be posted as a new discussion]

Dear Adobe Connect Team,we regluarly hosting webinars via our account. Last tuesday and friday - on both time slots everything worked smoothly. After using the integrated camera on this laptop with Adobe Connect Meeting (ACM) for several years with no problems, suddenly, in the past few days, it has stopped working. When I try to turn on my webcam, all I get is a black square. However, my webcam works fine with both Adobe Presenter Video Express and with testmywebcam.com, so the problem seems to be with ACM, not with the webcam itself. (Although, just to be safe, I did uninstall my webcam and then rebooted, so it would reinstall itself). I've checked the permissions and it's set to always allow access to my company's ACM domain URL. I've tried accessing my meeting room in two different browsers (IE 11 and Chrome) and encountered the same problem in both, and also had the same problem when going into a coworkers ACM room, as well.I checked, and my Flash Player is up to date. I'm running Adobe Connect Meeting 9.6.2 (the version my company has approved) and none of my coworkers seem to be experiencing this problem. My

The login page is the standard - Login as Guest and Sign in.Is there any way that we can modify the entry in that Guest Field?For example - we would like people to type in their Name, and email before they enter.Can this be done?Is there any documentation that we could use to pass on to our developer?Warmest Regards,
Hello, is there a issue on hosting the mp4 videos content on ACP?All my MP4 content user require to log in and view the video.I am having issue on user with android device with chrome browser,when users click on the link to play the mp4 content , entire video the file will be downloaded into the user device.we don't want users to have download our mp4 contents.Any advice on this.thx

Hi All,Trying to view a recording of a webinar and I keep getting told I need Adobe Connect Add-In. I downloaded it and got one of the admins to install it (no admin access for me). Chrome insists I don't have it installed, while IE 11 says "The protocol specified in this address is not valid. Make sure the address is correct and try again".Any suggestions for troubleshooting this issue?Thanks
In a recent recording, there is a problem where one the recording one speaker will start answering a question before the other speaker even asked it, and speaking over the other speaker (this is not the order it happened in the original meeting!) Does anyone know why this may have happened? Is there a way to prevent it happening in the future? And is there possibly a way to fix the recording? Thanks for any help you can offer.
I installed the manual installer for Adobe Connect to access a meeting for class, and I downloaded the AdobeConnectAddInInstaller. Then when the meeting website couldn't detect the Adobe Connect Addin, I searched for the file and found it. I clicked Adobe Connect and it's stuck on "Loading Adobe Connect". I've been trying to fix this for a while, how do I get this to work?
I'm trying to make an offline recording of a recent webinar through Adobe Connect. During the recording, the on-screen playback is fine... both audio and video are great. But once recording is complete, only the video plays. I've tried both MP4 and FLV formats, as well as different settings for HD/Desktop etc. I know the audio was successfully recorded during the webinar but I can't get it to save the audio offline.Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Hello,I have a Surface Pro 4 and use Windows 10 OS. I have 100 mbps with Xfinity Wi-Fi and have a very good connection to the internet; however, when I log in to Adobe Connect, I always have the smallest red bar available. Even if my internet connection is 100%, my Connect connection is always very poor. It will go to green bars for a few seconds, and then it will boot me out and take about 7 or 8 seconds to start over again (because the connection was too poor). Best Buy's Geek Squad said there is nothing wrong with my computer, and Comcast said there is nothing wrong with my internet. Can anyone help me figure out my problem?Thanks!
I Never ordered a year membership! I just had a "Free" Trial.. and now I can't even cancel something that I didn't want and never ordered! Anyone else getting ripped off by Adobe.com? Reporting to the B.B.B.!!!
Hello!I have Adobe Connect 9 installed on a virtual machine that is on my domain. I am able to browse to my adobe connect server and see the web interface, but I am unable to login without creating an account. I am trying to deploy this for a large userbase and do not want to re-create accounts for everyone. I looked at the steps for configuring LDAP and I cannot figure out why my Adobe Connect server is not able to pass logon requests to the Domain Controller. Any tips/troubleshooting advice?Thanks.
I've downloaded and installed Adobe Connect 9 several times to view a webinar that was sent to me and is accessible via this add-in. The Wizard indicates the installation was successful but I can't launch the file. Checking my list of programs on the Windows 10 menu, I can't find any indication that Connect was installed. I have a couple of other Adobe programs installed and they run without problems. Any suggestions on what the problem might be?
HiI continue to have issues with Adobe Connect whilst running webinars. The issues are intermittent (as in, I ran two webinars last week no problem, but today huge issues), I have actually purchased a new laptop as I thought my one was failing, but the issues continue. They range from network connectivity issues, to not being able to access the Adobe server, yet the participants don't have the same problem (and they are in the same office). I have tried this on a number of different laptops and locations now, as well as Chrome, Firefox and IE, and all present the same issue. I'm now wondering whether it is actually my profile. Attached are screen shots to illustrate what the issue is.Please help, as this is extremely stressful when I am in a webinar, as well as being embarrassing!ThanksDeahne
