Every time I click a link in an app other than my browser, I expect it to take me back to my browser (chrome) and it instead opens Adobe Acrobat. I've reset all default apps for file types, all it should be doing is opening PDFs. When a link leads to Acrobat, it will try to 'open' the file type then give me an error. I uninstalled Acrobat and then links don't open at all from Discord/etc. Any suggestions are appreciated, as I want Acrobat available and installed on my computer without running into this annoying and completely avoidable issue.
Hi, chat asked me to go to chat to solve my issue. I got the "your account has exceeded the maximum number of activations allowed" error while trying to connect a new device. Could someone please reset my activations?Thanks very much

Hallo,ich habe meine Adobe DRM Daten schon dafür verwendet, sechs Geräte freizuschalten, um Bücher zu lesen, die wir online gekauft haben. Ich musste neulich einen kompletten Reset für meinen e-Book Reader (Tolino) durchführen. Danach konnte ich meinen Adobe DRM nicht mehr freischalten. Es kam die Fehlermeldung, dass es bereits 6 mal verwendet wurde. Leider erkennt Adobe DRM wohl nicht, dass ich es auf einem Gerät wieder installieren möchte, wo es schon einmal installiert war. Es gehört also zu den sechs Geräten, ich müsste es aber ein 7. Mal neu installieren, weil ich ja einen kompletten Neustart für Gerät Nr. 6 durchgeführt habe.Gibt es eine Lösung dafür, wie ich diese Fehlermeldung umgehen kann? Kann ich irgendwo bei Adobe meine sechs Geräte verwalten? Bisher konnte mir hier leider niemand weiterhelfen. Ich habe jetzt das Problem, dass ich eine neue Adobe ID für meinen e-Book Reader nutzen musste und nun alte, gekaufte Bücher, nicht mehr auf dem Gerät lesen kann, weil die irgen
Having issues downloading ebooks to ADE from library. Updated ADE to 4.5.10 on Windows 10. Renamed My Digital Editions folder to OLD and created a new My Digital Editons folder. Deleted previous downloads. ADE continually fails with "not responding".
I bought a book on Kobo.com but I cannot download it. I'm getting the following error: "Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT" I deauthorized and reauthorized my phone but I still cannot download my book. What must I do now?
Hi, I'm having a problem with an epub book I purchased through Books a Million. When I download the file, I receive the following error in Adobe Digital Editions: UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD. ERROR GETTING LICENSE. LICENSE SERVER COMMUNICATION PROBLEM: E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN. I've deauthorized and reauthorized. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hola,He creado el ID de Adobe y al acceder a la aplicacion de Adobe Digital Edition y rellenar el ID y la contraseña me sale un mensaje de error que pone Error del servidor de activacion, codigo E_STREAM_ERROR: Winlnet returned 0 (0). ¿Alguien sabe como se puede solucinar este error? Gracias
I have not used ADE for years. Now I have installed the program on my new computer as I want to access my old ebooks (epubs). I logged in using my Adobe-account (linked to my @8395988 emailaddress). When I tried to access the books, ADE indicated for most books that "the supplier account that you have entered, is not linked to the item that you want to open. Try again" (translated from Dutch). I then found out (accessing my old ereader) that my ADE-ID is linked to my old @10215394 emailaddress. I do not actively use this addess, but I can still access it. I then deauthorised my @8395988 emailaddress and tried to authorise my @10215394 emailaddress. Unfortunately I do not know the password for the ADE-ID linked to my @10215394 emailaddress. Of course I tried to reset the password through the Adobe-website. However, according to that website no Adobe-account exists linked to my @10215394 emailaddress. Everytime I close a book, Adobe Digital Editions asks to copy this book to the library. I click no box and it says that it is for this book only. How do I stop it from altogether?

Nach Eingabe des korrekten Kennwortes erscheint jedoch: Benutzerinformationen sind falsch. ??? Was kann ich tun?Hat hier jemand eine Idee?VG GELÖST !!!! dank eines andern Eintrages in der Community: ich zitiere:Digital Edition Schließen.Drück WINDOWS + R."regedit" (ohne die " ") eingeben und enterHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept löschen.Dann neu eingeben unter Hilfe > Computer autorisieren.
As is obvious, posting in this community is new to me. ADE is hanging every time I launch it, sometimes immediately, other times after a brief time trying to use it.I have reinstalled multiple times, including older versions, and its great that the install works, but the application does not behave any better.I gather that assistance from Adobe is zero for this product, so I do hope that someone here can help me. Presumably there are millions of Windows 11 users who are using this app with no problem, as was I (for many years), but since installing the latest version (4.5.12), no luck. Also presumably, there must be a problem with the environment on my laptop. The only intel I can get from the event log is that the app has frozen. I have no idea what to do next. Help!!
I'm at my whit's end at this point with this [cursing removed] resulting in my not bein able to access content I paid for. I tried resetting my adobe password, but that had zero effect on the issue. Does anyone know of a fix?
Trying to authorize computer / epub files downloaded from Kobo (I got a deal on a large selection of books but use a Kindle, so need to be able to export the epub files with the authorization). I first authorized the computer without using an ID (I thought this would be fine), but saw later that I could only read the files on computer, can't use on another device. I proceeded to erase authorization and authorize computer using Adobe ID. But now when I click on the book, I need to reauthorize exclusively for the book, and after putting my info in again it says something to the effect that the ID isn't associated with the license. I've deleted and redownloaded Adobe Digital Editions and also deleted the Epub files to start again. I connect with my Adobe ID, and now when I click on the URRLLink.acsm file after downloading from Kobo, I get the error message that download is impossible and that the E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_U-SER. Please help!
The problem is not about activation. The problem is that the program will not load. I have used Digital editions for many many years and never had a problem until I downloaded an updated version. The program installs no problem, but when wanting to open the program it just will not open and it just spins around and around for as long as I let it . It has been spinning for more than five hours at times. There have been a couple of odd occasions when DE has loaded but then freezes with message "not respopnding" I have downloaded eBooks that can only be opened using Digital editions so I am in a situation where I have paid for products I cannot open or read. I also have a problem login into my account to get help. I get a message saying that my Email is not connected to any account with Adobe but that is wrong. I use other Adobe products and have no problem with them or logging into my account when using them. I am very disappointed and frustrated with this
Hi, I have a problem connecting my Kobo to ADE on my Mac.My Mac recognises the Kobo but, when I open ADE, no devices appears, and I didin't find a way to add it.In this way I can't transfer my ebook from Mac to Kobo.Any help please??Thank you so much
