Just recently got back into coding after years of strictly designing. "Back in the day," as they say, you'd need jQuery + the right script just to have a simple photo lightbox on your website. For the sake this argument, I'll define "lightbox" as  clicking on an image and getting a larger version of it centered and overlayed on the rest of the viewport, with a semi-transparent black or white layer in-between for contrast; and a standard transition animation (even if it's just a quick fade-in / fade-out). To return to normal, clicking anywhere is fine. Slightly blurring the background would be nice too, but not necessary. Don't need previous/next buttons (to cycle through multiple images while in the lightbox) either; one at a time is fine. And lastly, I don't even really need to add text to the opened image, which should simplify things a lot. ^ All these things are nice to have, but ultimately all I really need is for the image I clicked on to go full-screen (contained)

I'm having a problem with the presets menu in the Files palette. There are too many items being unpacked that are not related to Dreamweaver files. Some of them are repeated several times. The most "junk" is from the backup items from the Time Machine backup disk on the Mac. After reinstalling Dreamweaver it cleared up but within half a day it filled up again. Does anyone know what to do with it? Thanks.

I need help creating a table that has colums and rows. Let's say 5 columns. If i had an item or something to the first place of the top row, then the last item on each row will automatically move to the first on the next row. If that makes sense.

I try to make 6 items in a row, and divide in pages   However, when i go to the last page,  the remaining items are aligned centrali try to edit in align-content/align-itself in left but it doesnt change may i know is there any method?

Dreamweaver is not allowing me to edit in split mode or design mode, only the code.  Please can anyone let me know how to fix this, it is very time consuming losing this option

Hello, I have a real begginer question. How do I get image files to display on a Dreamweaver site that I have saved? I know how to upload image files, but once I have uploaded the images and saved the site, if I shut down the computer and then reopen the site, the images do not display -- all that appears is a wireframe.  Thanks for your help!

Hi Guys,I have created a lot of snippets in Dreamweaver CC, which I created in its own folder / category (ie. I did not place it in the 3.4.1 folder, or the 4.4.1, but in a new folder separate to those.. which works great on my PC - but on my laptop, the custom set of snippets do not appear at all.   So I compared the files on each computer, and noticed that in the Configuration / Snippets / PHP_Snippets folder on my PC has 3 more 'csn' files than my laptop does - and I wondered if this might be the issue... the files missing in that folder (on my laptop) are Media_Queries_for_standard_devices.csn,   Responsive_Images_using_picture_element.csn, and Retina_display_Media_Queries.csn    While I wasnt sure if this was the issue, regardless I tried to copy the missing csn files over, from my PC to the laptop - but it said I did not have admin permission to do this, and wouldnt allow it.   Again, I dont even know for sure if this is the fix, or no

Hello - we just edited some of the pages of the company site. I used DW to do it locally. I know this is a WordPress site and I know there are literally a million plugins for WP but sometimes it's just easier to code something and be done with it. I like that lightbox effect where if you click an image or text a lightbox opens and there is the YouTube hosted video about the product. I've not had any luck finding one that is especially responsive so the video in the lightbox shrinks on mobile devices and I don't want to go through a million WP plugins. I the past I had used dream weaver to download edit and update WordPress pages after optimizing them for SEO. That was a few years ago. Today I am getting back into it and cannot get it to work properly. I have been able to download content from my WP site just not the webpages that I created. Hello,Suddenly (as in overnight), I cannot use Put to publish files to websites.  The error message is "An FTP error occurred - cannot make connection to host.  User limit reached or cannot make the connection due to local firewall blocking FTP data.So far I've tried turning off Windows 10 Firewall and Avast but no luck there.  Does anyone have any idea why such an error pops up overnight?

I wondering if any Adobe insiders or long-time Dreamweaver users have any relevant and credible information on Adobe's roadmap for web development going forward. I've been using Dreamweaver since before Macromedia was bought out by Adobe. The fact that it's languishing in limbo is disappointing, to say the least. I remember when Adobe was working on Brackets, and then ended up incorporating a lot of that code into Dreamweaver, and it seems like that's the last significant thing they've done with Dreamweaver.  I would have thought that at some point, Adobe would have either added CMS capabilities to Dreamweaver, or made the decision to move in that direction with a brand new CMS product / evironment, but since there was not even a single word mentioned about Dreamweaver at last year's Adobe Max conference, or anything really related to website development, it makes me wonder if they're going to possibly go the route of leveraging their acquisition of Figma, along with som

It's almost unusable, making it very difficult to click on any menu item, etc. You can see how the navigation size compares to icons on the desktop.
