the app was working fine a couple of days ago, i went to add a abr file from icloud files saw the number of brushes importing, (which i've since deleted the abr file from creative cloud) but now when i go into fresco on a new empty document / any document i'm working on, i tap the brush tool bar (pixel brush) (not selecting a specific brush), just by simply tapping the pixel brush icon to select) and the ios app just crashes & closes each time.... then sometimes.. it doesnt crash... the panel opens as normal also noticed when i tap on libaries there is a slight lag automatically showing all cloud folders under "shapes"which then load after slight delay. also i've noticed adobe capture shapes from cloud arent updating to newer adjusted versions in the folder within libaries within fresco, but are fine within creative cloud. and one last thing there is extreme "freeze" lag on just zooming or moving across canvas surface on larger projects i'm runni
how do you stop these appearing all the time showing "how to use suggestion" on parts of the app etc
Hi,I have used the little task bar that pops up when using the pen then accidently moved it away and now i can no longer see the little task bar (allowing me to not change pen thickness) and have tried dragging it back but it won't move. I need help quickly. This is what it used to look like and the second image is what it is now. Any help would be apperichated.Thank you!
Hi- new problem as of today. Fresco crashes when I click on pixel icon to change or look at pixel brushes. Only crashes when trying to use pixel brush-but doesn't crash when using live watercolor or the vector brushes. any tips or suggestions? Need to use the app.
Hi, How can I prevent areas that I move outside the bounds of the canvas from being cut off?For example, if I have a plate in my illustration and I move it to the edge, it is cut and if I later want to move it further in, it is already cut. How do I prevent clipping when it exits the canvas?Thank you for your help.
currently using photoshop to do my characters and I want to switch to Fresco. Problem im seeing is, what if i want to add like a jetpack to my character. In adobe character i can easily do that by just opening the puppet and drawing it. Seems like on fresco i have to bring back the psd file that is already set up with +head +body etc etc.... I add a few features to my characters thought the months. Would it be easier to just keep doing my work on photoshop? hopefully i make sense.
When I open Fresco, it shows me the home screen, but as soon as I try to go further (create new file, open file, etc.) the program crashes. This is with 4.70 and 4.71. And I am running Windows 11.

Why isn't fresco compatible with win 11?I don't understand how you can charge a monthly payment for a product that don't work. I think I deserve some kind of reimbursement for this. And the new update don't work either. What we doing here?
fresco's watercolor brush doesn't work on my surface pro X. is there any way i can use it? If I upgrade to premium, can I use all the features?
Hello, Fresco keeps crashing on load on Windows 11 on HP Spectre. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and reloading Creative Cloud but I have the same issue. I haven't had it work yet. Any thoughts? Thanks, Freyja [Renamed by Mod]
Hello there,I've open Fresco today and I've lost all my library brushes 😞 And of course now neither all my favourite brushes are visible. How can I do? I have already tried with changing permission as explained here https://helpx.adobe.com/it/fresco/kb/imported-pixel-brushes-access-issue.html but it didn't solve it. Thank you in advance!
Hi, Since few weeks fresco is crashing continuously chen I try to open a document or create a new one. I can open the app, but I stuck on the home page because when I when to open something it crash (even with the tutoral document). I alrready try to reinstall the app, but the probleme is the same. And it start with the 4.7.1 version, the 4.8 update didn't solve the problem.Do you have any through to solve this ?
Hello All,I am recently new to Adobe Fresco and need some help. When using the live brushes I get grid lines and I am unable to remove them. Can someone please help me out with this issue?
I added the Gouache brush pack and it shows in my Library Brushes as having 41 brushes, but the pack won't open.I tried removing and re-adding the pack, restarting Fresco, etc. but nothing has any effect.I successfully added, opened, and used the Dry media brush pack, so it seems to be an issue with the Gouache pack.Anyone else able to add and open the Gouache brush pack? What to do?
Many years ago (in 2006) Adobe licenced the wonderful (watercolor and ink) brush engines of Nelson Chu, creator of the incredible paint app Expresii (expresii.com). But Adobe never put these algorithms, which are based on real physics maths, to use – not until Adobe Sketch, where they implemented the Yuibi brush engine. That's why Sketch's brushes were so dynamic and wonderful to work with. But they left out the amazing MoXi watercolor engine that Expresii uses, which renders Fresco's watercolor ridicolous in comparison. They also left out the great Youji rendering engine, which obliviates pixelation when zooming in. And then when ditching Sketch, they also ditched the single best thing about that app – the brush engine, in favour of the normal, boring, static brush technology we've already had for decades now. Hi! I´m using an XP Pen tablet and the issue also persists when using my mouse. Whenever I want to move something I´ve selected there's no easy way to move it always scales my selection never giving the ability to move. The only option I have is to use the cursors and it can take up to 10 minutes moving from one side of the canvas to the other. Issue persists nearly every time. Can we separate the scale and move options just like the liquify ,distort tool etc or am I doing something wrong? Thanks
I've been using Adobe Fresco on an iPad mini 5 / iPad OS 15.7.1 to make astronomical sketches while viewing through a telescope. Attached are two files, sketches of M8 the lagoon nebula.One file is a capture of my screen as I see it when working in Fresco, made with my phone of the iPad screen.The second file is what the exported file looks likein Photoshop on my MacBook (or indeed when viewed with any other device, or uploaded to the internet)I have tried viewing with other color profiles, tried adjusting levels in layers - nothing matches the sketch as it looked to me when I made it in the iPad.
The color margin tool in Fresco will not let me click on it to get rid of the fill problem I'm having where there is a small white space in between the fill color and the outline. I've seen a bunch of videos instructing users to use this tool to fix this problem but it's not working for me 😞
I have uninstalled and reinstalled my app, connected to different networks, tried earlier versions of Fresco, updated my graphics driver, and allowed Adobe Creative Cloud through my firewall. I also have plenty of storage space. However the app continuously crashes during the loading screen of opening a document (even a new document that is not on the cloud). Illustrator still works so I believe this is solely an issue with Fresco, this has been happening for the past week. Thanks
Can someone explain - how does Fresco even continue to work without cloud sync? It's a fundamental part of how the app functions. I pay a premium for cloud storage. When I draw something, Fresco takes it off my iPad and syncs it to the cloud whether I want it to or not. I don't get a say in this process. If I want to edit that drawing in 6 months, Fresco pulls it down from the cloud and opens it. I think only the "Recent" files are stored locally, temporarily.So if Adobe is discintinuing cloud sync services... I mean, can I even download a hundred files locally, if Fresco will only hold onto a dozen recent files? Sure, I could export PDF backups to a drive, but that just rescues the art, it doesn't solve where my actual Fresco project files live, and how I get them back onto the glass in the future? As I create more work in 2024 does it just save locally? And when I run out of local storage, how do I backup a Fresco project file so that I can still work with it in the future
I've been having this issue for a little while now that has completely locked me out of being able to use Fresco. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, installed the previous version of the app available (v4.6.0), I have tried running it as administrator, I have turned off my firewall, I've made sure Adobe Creative Cloud was synced, and so far nothing has made it work. I have also now used the Log Collector tool so hopefully help but right now I'm at a loss for what to do so I can actually use this software again.
