Hola foro, mi problema es basicamente ese, no puedo mover los objetos que selecciono con la flecha negra (v) solo puedo moverlos con las flechas del teclado pero el mouse no me funciona. Puedo escalar, puedo rotar puedo hacer todo menos moverlos (como si estuviesen bloqueados) no tengo agrupados los objetos ni tengo bloqueados, reinicie la pc, reinicie illustrator y no hay caso y me pasa en todos los documentos. SOLUCIÓN por favor!!!

Whenever I open a PDF-file in Illustrator, illustrator automatically creates an ai-file with same name. How can I stop this behaviour? It started after installing 30.5 (or something)

Hello,For several weeks now, I've been experiencing a recurring issue in Illustrator.Whenever I duplicate a layer group, the original layer group gets completely modified.To illustrate:I'm drawing a face, so I have a group called "Face" containing several subfolders/layers (Nose, Mouth, Eyes, Shadows, Highlights, etc.). When I duplicate this group to use it for an alternative version of the same character within the same document (using the Alt/Option key and dragging the layer into a folder above), the original group,the source one (including all its layers) suddenly changes to a single color.I've encountered this issue multiple times over the past few weeks. Recently, after editing the duplicated group ("Face 2"), I went back to the original group and everything had turned green. I had to redraw everything from scratch.It's becoming a nightmare, and this problem has been occurring repeatedly for several weeks on my end. Any solution please?

Running tahoe have done all updates, have uninstalled and reinstalled creative cloud. Restarted, shut down. Have tried Option, Command, Shift on startup, have tried getting rid of all plug ins… I can’t seem to get Illustrator to open. Photoshop and InDesign work fine. I am using a MacBook Pro and the RAM and storage is fine. All of a sudden one day it just wouldn’t work. I’m desperate cause I need to get work done!

Graphic objects (even a simple line, rectangle, or ellipse with no effects, transparency, masks, or appearance attributes) fail to copy approximately 50% of the time. When the failure occurs, Edit > Paste becomes unavailable in Illustrator. Other applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Word, Acrobat, etc.) do not receive any new clipboard content. Repeatedly pressing Copy (sometimes 10–30 times) eventually succeeds, after which Paste becomes available again.Additional observations:The issue occurs in both existing and newly created documents. I can't resize vectors or objects using the selection tool. I have been using Illiustrator for years. I have tried updating the software and my OS. No arrow appears anymore when I hover over anything with the selection tool. In order to resize, I have to enter new dimensions in propoerites.

Hello!Sometimes I experience issues when editing in Illustrator. It starts freezing, not only the Illustrator app, but the entire Windows system becomes unresponsive. Even if I close all softwares it won't solve it, the only solution is to force shut down using the power button.I noticed it might be happening only when I work with AI files exported directly from Rhinoceros, not all of them makes it happen, but when it happened I guess it were files .AI exported from rhino.Thanks

Hello,I'm experiencing an issue with the Open Sans font family in Adobe Creative Cloud on Windows 11.When I activate Open Sans through Adobe Fonts, some font styles install correctly, while others consistently fail with the error:"Unable to install this font."The styles that fail include:Light Light Italic Regular Italic Bold Bold ItalicAt the same time, other styles such as Semibold, Extrabold, and Extrabold Italic appear to install successfully.Because I suspected a font conflict, I performed the following tests:Uninstalled Open Sans from Windows. Confirmed that Open Sans was no longer present in C:\Windows\Fonts. Restarted Windows. Activated Open Sans again exclusively through Adobe Fonts. Restarted Creative Cloud and Adobe applications.The problem persists.In addition, I noticed another issue that seems related:In Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Open Sans does not properly switch to the Bold style. Not too long ago I setup illustrator to use gimp for external image editing (black/white curve corrections). Now when i press "edit original", illustrator calls gimp, working as intended.I want to change that setup but cannot find where to do it, can't remember neither and is driving me insane.May somebody point me towards where is that configuration please?. This is a small pdf that works on the previous version. It’s not only this pdf, its all pdfs. Tried a clean install that didn’t help 

I need to create a vector drawing of this image.  The source scan is high resolution so that is not a problem.  I just need single color strokes outlining the black.  I have tried using different presets and different slider settings in the advance column but I can’t seem to get my needed result.  Illustrator seems to bow or curve the paths.  I have also tried the new concept/sketch to vector, and although some of the results are interesting, they are not what I need.  I am willing to put the hours in to do this by hand, but I’m not sure what the best workflow is… Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you… 

Hey guys!I try to use AI for Site plans and analysis for my college. So I decided to use the free source platform OpenStreetMap for data, after I watched a couple videos on youtoube. However, If I want to open the Layers in this OSM PDF, my Illustrator simlpy freezes and doesnt return back to functionality, unlike in the videos Ive seen.Opening the same PDF’s layers in Inkscape works just fine, without any trouble.But I want to use Illustrator thanks to its many options, but its hard when it crashes all the time :(My Graphicscard is a RTX 4070TI And I have 32gb of ram, as well as enough space on my drives.I am really out of any ideas on what to do. I could even try to send a screencapture video.Thanks in advance, if anyone could help me!

i was working in illustrator (beta) 29.3.0 when it crashed. upon reopening it, i got a popup that it recovered the two opened files. i hit 'confirm' to open the recovered files, then nothing happened. can i recover them manually somehome?

I keep getting the following error message: "Your current color settings discard CMYK profiles in linked content but profiles were set to be honored when this document was created." every time I open an Illustrator document. I have no idea how this setting was set and no idea how to turn it off. I am just using the standard N America Prepress color setting in Bridge. I have tried opening new documents using the supplied Ai CS4 new document profiles, no luck. So I am assuming it's a pref that is set in the app itself, yet I have no idea how to change this setting? I don't even see anything referring to a setting like this. I found this archived discussion: http://www.adobeforums.com/webx?128@@.59b58d84 which had no resolution. Thought I would throw it out there again and see if anyone has been able to fix this. It drives me insane having to deal with that error every time I open a saved document.

On July 2nd, Creative Cloud unexpectedly disconnected during my work session (confirmed via status.adobe.com). I was logged out, Adobe Fonts were disabled, and Illustrator automatically replaced all missing fonts in several open files – in some cases with completely unrelated fonts like barcode styles.Without any prompt or confirmation, Illustrator saved these changes on closing. The result: corrupted files, with key fonts now appearing at the very bottom of the font list, ungrouped and partially unusable.Additionally, I've been struggling with a longstanding Copy & Paste issue in Illustrator:Certain text blocks can’t be copied between documents – even though the SVG clipboard option is disabled.Questions:- Why does Illustrator silently replace missing fonts and save without asking?- Is there any way to disable or block this behavior?- Are there known fixes for the persistent Copy & Paste issue?This happened right before a deadline and an upcoming print delivery – it cost me a

error message appears when attempting to open InDesign as well as illustratorI have experienced this error when attempting to open InDesign and illustrator several times over the course of a few months now. There is a fix that I found through the Adobe forums that involves repairing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable program files and it works temporarily, but after a few weeks the problem reappears. I have tried installing several versions of both programs to see if it is just affecting a specific version, but it does not appear to make a difference. Please assist when possible, as I require authorization from my company’s tech support department in order to perform the fix every time this problem occurs and it is interfering with my job. Hi all,is it possible to get an answer from Adobe support regarding files saved as .pdf in Illustrator?I found dozens of answers online, but since I'm making a presentation for my company about moving to 1FF (1 File Folder) instead of 2 files (.ai and .pdf),I need some kind of official statement about pros and cons for both versions.From my experience in the previous positions (pharma packaging), I worked with only .pdf and we never had any problem with it. To make things more clear, I'm in the medical devices packaging industry now and things are pretty strict here, and everything has to go through many approvals before it can be used in practice.I hope to get an answer to this from someone at Adobe if it's possible. Of course, help from anyone in the community is appreciated.Thank you.Tommy

After applying an appearance style to a layer which contains multiple object sublayer, toggling the visibility of individual object layers on and off does not function properly. For example,  If I turn off visibility on one of the object sublayers, turning it back on will not make the object visible. This is an issue whether objects are in a group or not. 

I tried resizing my artboard to match my object's size and it seems they don't match.My square object is 50 px x 50 px, and the arboard size is 60 px x 60 px. How to solve this? I didn’t struggle with this issue before.Attaching the evidence. Thanks for replying and sharing your solutions

Why is my pen tool cursor an X? Caps lock is OFF and precise cursor is OFF. Both of these are off. Cursor is still an X.I reset all my preferences to see if it would fix this but it hasn't. Still an X.

white box shows when open in AI and cant get rid of it , does not show on PDF proof or does not show on clients computer that sent me the file please help

The Vector concept isn't working (AI 30.5.1 (64-bit, Windows 11); it throws an error (even though my internet connection is stable). And it deducts points for every failed attempt. Yesterday morning, one image was generated successfully, but every subsequent attempt yielded the same result—nothing—yet the points were still deducted.
