Bonjour, j'ai essayais de travailler sur un logo déjà existant et de superbe qualité pour y ajouter une phrase en dessus. Pronlème lorsque je veux exporter il devient de trs mauvaise qualité. Je suis débutante et aie du mal avec tout ce qui est taille de fichier tout cela alors j'ai un peu tout tester en l'exportant une dizaine de fois. Merci à vous. 

Setting up master logo set for client... Have built CMYK & RGB versions in illustrator.When importing the RGB .ai file to Photoshop - colour looks drastically more intense, even though it is the exact same RGB breakdown + colour management settings are the same - Adobe very kindly points out that they default to the same colour management across the programs for consistency.I'm completely stumped and not sure what the workaround is (other than visually trying to match in Photoshop but have the wrong actual breakdown - which is surely a recipe for future inconsistency) - would appreciate any help please and thank you.screen grabs attached

hi, how do i change size of a photo to fit artboard. it seems so simple i cant even find and answer its driving me crazy 

Just found out, that the current Illustrator 29.5.1 running on current macOS 15.5 has trouble with special chars in linked files. I had the copyright symbol in filenames for stock photos (e.g. ©AdobeStock_artist_photo.jpg). This led to Illustrator showing this in the Links panel as being updated externally. Updating it inside Illustrator showd it up-to-date for a couple of seconds, then it went into updated externally status again. Illustrator 28.x handles these filenames without complains.

Using Shift + Command + N to open a new file from template fails when there isn't a file already open.

With the last two quick updates to illustrator on the Mac (the second 26.0.0 and the latest, 26.0.1) I'm getting the flash of pink on the screen again upon opening files on a Mac mini M1 (16 GB).

adobe illustrator selection tool not working with tablets.Started about 4 days ago. I have a Huion & Wacom, can't select objects in Ilustrator.Specfically, the lag and screen refresh are so out of sync that when it update 5+ seconds later the thing you selected is in random part of the screen. Back to mouse work!

Please, someone explain why I'm not seeing the same thing as the tutorial. When I long press the line tool, I only get the rectangle, star and line tools; no arc, no swirl, and no rectangle grid. I'm VERY new to digital graphics and trying to be serious about learning. Is there something wrong with my program?

J'ai mis exactement les mêmes réglages de vectorisation d'un fichier identique dans la version 2025 et 2024 d'IIlustrator. Il y a deux différences dans le moteur de vectorisation entre les versions 2024 et 2025, "Simplifier" en version 2024 et "formes" en 2025. La différence majeure est dans le nombre de points d'ancrage, de 10210 en version 2024 à 2531 en version 2025.>> Donc la version 2025 simplifie automatiquement sans que je puisse le gérer, en je ne retrouve pas la qualité que j'avais en version 2024.Si quelqu'un a une idée par rapport à cela, ou une alternative encore sur la méthode de vectorisation?

Seit dem letzten oder vorletzten Update kommt bei jeder zweiten oder dritten EPS diese Fehlermeldung. Die Illustration kann nicht gespeichert werden. Eine Elipse kann nicht erstellt werden.Speichere ich das Dokument vorher aber als AI und dann mit speichern unter als EPS kommt der Fehler nicht mehr. Hoffe der Fehler wird bald behoben!

Hello! The company I represent/own does a ton of template building within Adobe Illustrator. As an example of what we are in need of I'll offer a quick description of what we do and what we ultimatedly want to solve for. We create a design for a sports jersey across a series of panels within a single artboard. Once the file is good for production we have to save down a file for each size needed. Currently this involves us manually scaling the components to fit the panels in each size and then clipping them to a shape. The file has layers with masks for each size within it.  Ideally we want to have a script and/or ation that will do the scaling based on preset parameters and then clip the shapes in the same script/action. Maybe it requires two actions/scripts that work indepently, we don't know the answer to that. That's what brings us here! Please reach out if you think you could handle this (if it's even possible based on what we share) and would like to talk

Hi there I am just delving into how to work between .AI and saving/exporting to SVG I have run into a strange issue, though. Everything looks great in my .AI file. But then I save as an SVG and all my gradients stop blending correctly.  See images for before and after. (the after is how the file looks if I open the SVG back up in Illustrator, Preview the file, or if I place the graphic into an InDesign document... actually looks even worse placed in InDesign but I won't hurt your eyes). Additional context: I licensed a stock image and modified it. So I do wonder if it's  What am I missing? Anyone run into a similar issue?  Cheers Jennifer 

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to do this?I want to drag a bunch of .ai files into an open AI file. So far so good. As you all knowm they come in as linked items.I would then like to embed those links BUT have the "object" retain that linked file name. Right now, once you embed, it just becomes a "group".I would want them to end up like this. I have around 250 files that all need updates but batch actions can't do what I need but if I had them all in one file, I could easily make the adjustments then create artboards for each item (which retains the objest name) and export them. That way all the files are already names accordingly. 

Hey all,  I've seen some amazingly helpful script posts (Like this one) and found some premade scipts like MatchObjects that get me close, but I figured I'd give it a try and see if anyone has any suggestions for combining a few different things.I'm wanting to use Data Merge/Variables do the following:Determine what shape I want visible and what fill (linked image) I want used.Resize the fill layer to match either the length or width of the visible shape (F or B), whichever is larger, constraining proportionsAlign the fill layer to the top, middle of the shapeUse the shape as a clipping maskCopy the stroke colour of the shape to the clipping maskSave each clipping mask individually I'm not sure if I need my file structure different, like all F&B files in their own group or layer? Any advice or links to documentation is appreciated. I have found it hard to find articles or videos related to indepth data variable options.Thanks!

Hi there. Please help me, I am struggling a lot with this issue that I don't have so much time to spend on...I need a good-quality PNG exported from Illustrator, the size of 1280px/720px. When exported, the PNG size becomes 5334 px/3001px. It is being exported under the settings of 300 ppi (which, I am aware that enlarges the output size), so I tried 72 ppi, and the output is 1280px/720px, but the quality is horrible...Then I tried downsizing the Artboard so that when exported at 300ppi (good quality), the output is 1280px/720px. I did it. It is 1280px/720px but the quality is horrible again...I need it to be PNG, because I am importing it into TouchDesigner, and it needs to have a transparent background. TouchDesigner doesn't accept SVGs.So here is a choice between quality and size. I cannot believe that there's no solution to this...Please, take into consideration that I need to export around 50 Artboards separately, so changing the program would be too time-consuming for me.Thanks i

Being a heavy user of high-end 3D CAD software, my greatest pain is having to deal with 2D Illustrator. Lately, I have a 4mb file open, and the lag is unreal. Just typing a few letters takes 2-3 seconds. Hitting Enter, another 2-3 seconds. Space bar, another 2-3 seconds.    Why is this program so inefficient in using system resources? What can I do to make it get out of first gear and fly? I have 16Gb Ram on a 64 bit workstation laptop. I close down all my other high-ram apps when using Illustrator.    Help. 

Am I missing something??  When i goto convert a stoke typically I go to PATH, OBJECT > PATH > OUTLINE STROKE however my Outline Stroke is missing. Did it get moved somewhere else? Is this a glitch/bug? anyone else missing this? All I see now is Join, Open, Close, & Reverse Paths where did Outline Stroke go? I have the most updated version as of a day ago.

I've never had this happen before in any software!  I have an empty bounding box on my screen that attaches itself to any object/layer I choose.  It won't delete and it doesn't show up on the layers panel.  It's just there and it's stuck.  I can't go any further because it groups itself to any layer I want to work with.  Strangest thing I've even seen.  Like a ghost!  BTW It doesn't show up on a screen shot so I can't show you.Can you help?

How can I deactivate the Contextual Task Bar of my illustrator, it is annoying to be looking at it floating there for me it is annoying I should see an option to deactivate or activate to the user's liking Regards I hope for your help as soon as possible 

Why do i have to toggle Artboards for Paste in Place to function properly now? How does this software continue to degenerate?

I'm using Illustrator CS5 I haven't used illustrator for a very long time and not for the purposes of creating a file that will be used by a CNC machine. I have an image of a tree that I want to carve into a wooden box's top.  So far I have been able to import the image into illustrator and use the Live Trace function to turn it into a black and white silhouette.  I then invert the black and white so that the trunk and branches will be carved into the material.  So far, so good. But the tree's image is rectangular and what I want is the carving area to be circular - i.e. surrounding the tree.  I have been trying to use the Shape Builder tool to lop off the square corners leaving a circle around the tree.  I have watched a number of videos online, but after drawing the circle around the tree's silhouette I can't seem to select those corners. I have also tried the pathfinder tool, but have not had luck with that either. I have tried creat
