Hi I've been working on making fliers in Adobe Illustrator, but the last time I was working it I accidentally reset my computer before or while saving. Since then I can't open it again. I get a errors:Acrobat PDF File Format is having difficulties. I see there is a longer distant past chat about this but today and twice in succession the app crashed while employing the eyedropper tool on the second occasion I lost the work (no big deal as I have a copy). Why is this happening and is the Adobe team aware? 

Hello,a couple of months ago, I noticed that the link https://illustrator-scripting-guide.readthedocs.io/ is no longer working.If anyone knows where I can find similar documentation? I have searched extensively, but haven't been able to find the documentation.Thank you all in advance for your help. 

Last year I was given a full adobe creative cloud subscription by my tafe. When my course ended I immediately lost access to all my apps and was unable to retreave the files I had on illustrator. This year I have started a degree at the same tafe and my account was reactivated. The account is under the same email address it was last year since this is my school email. However, all my files from last year are gone. Is there a way to find and retrieve the files I saved to the adobe cloud last year? I really need my old templates and custom brushes I made in illustrator. 

Buenas a todos,tengo una duda sobre un problema que me ha aparecido de la noche a la mañana.Antes había realizado otros logos en Illustrator pero de repente me encuentro que el ultimo de llos se me ve pixelizado (fuera del programa). Es decir, exporto el archivo a .PNG (o JPG) como de costumbre y al abrirlo y hacer zoom en un visor de imágenes u otro sitio se me ven los vectores pixelizados, cuando nunca me había ocurrido.He probado en distintos ordenadores pero en todos se ve pixelado, por lo que quiería saber (si fuese posible) si hay alguna solución o es problema del renderizado de programa o similar.Muchas gracias!

How do i change the text  "Lorem ipsum" in adobe illustaror, photoshop & indesign in imac.

Recently I've been getting the error message that the additional module IllutoqueueS4 has an error. Illustrator then starts normally.I have already repaired and reinstalled C++. The iColor plugin is not installed.I can't find Safe Mode. I have already deleted the profile settings.Windows 11 operating system has current updates.Illustrator version is 28.6. The problem also exists with version 28.5. I haven't gone any deeper yet.

hello, I was on illustrator clicking alot when it wasnt responding, then the screen turned black with blue dots. How do I get rid of this to see my artboards?

Hey, hoping someone here can help me out. I just switched to a new MacBook Pro with the M4 chip, and every time I try to save an Illustrator file to Adobe Cloud after editing, I get an error and it won’t let me save. My internet connection’s solid, the Mac is new, i have enough memory in the cloud, so I’m not sure what’s causing it… 

Just got my new MacBook Pro with the M3 Max chip and 128GB of RAM, but it's lagging like crazy—spinning beachball, slow selection, and a long delay between typing and seeing anything on screen. I’ve closed everything else and only have Illustrator open with a simple vector file and a bit of text. GPU Performance is on, so no clue what’s going wrong. On my old M2 with 64GB of RAM, I could have multiple files open and fly through projects no problem. Any ideas? Specs attached :     

Quick question - Ive paid for my account for the past 3 or 4 years but recently I have missed the last 4 months payment since Ive been out of work. Do I have to pay the last 4 months plus the current month to get access again, or will they let me just pay the current month? I have the Annual - Paid Monthly plan.

HiIve got the same Issue with Illustrator and with my Mac I can ONLY update to 29.5.1.I bring in Tiif files and they disappear or make black lines! I have to keep redoing work. Now Im forced to only use Photoshop for most of my work.So you only fixing it now with the new update? I cannot afford to buy a New MAC now just to be able to work in Illustrator. Im paying for Illustrator and my Mac is not so old. Is there any way they can fix 29.5.1 which a lot of people are using? 2 of My co-workers got the same problem,

Hi All I foolishly reset my preferences  in Illustrator to try and get rid of a stroke scaling issue, and I've realised that my extensive list of starred / favourite fonts has disappeared. Is there any way to get them back? I've searched the web but I cant find anything concrete. Holding thumbs. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am losing sanity. I am getting this when ever I use Illustrator for my work. I dnt understand what is causing it, please someone tell me what I should do.

Illustrator 2025 suddenly crashes every time I attempt to add text wrap to a graphic placed there.  Have tried with different images.  Have restarted.  When it freezes with "not responding" I don't get the option to send a report with diagnostics, so here is this post.  Windows 11.  

Hi community, I'm just trying to add a soft return (as line break) by script, but always end up with a "normal" line break. Does anybody know the expression for soft returns?   Thanks in advance Nils

I had a crash about gpu performance and when i reopened the file it didnt show but was still there which is when i changed it to black it shows again but any white and it turns transparent. i've attached a video of what I mean but please ask if you need further information.

Hi, I am working in illustrator and trying to use the libary but it will not let me. It is deformed and I can not click on it.  What is going on???????? is this illustrator or just my laptop not having a good day?

So I've created a logo for a client, and part of it needs to have a colour gradient along a curved stroke. When finalising the design, I've outlined the stroke as you should, but my problem is Illustrator creates a gradient mesh of the outined stroke with the colour gradient, and when this is exported as (i.e.) an SVG, it looks awful/pixellates as apparently Illustrator can't create vectors of gradient meshes, and instead embeds an image of it? Is there a workaround?I suppose I could outline the stroke, and then turn it into a clipping mask the a gradient shape behind it, but it won't be exactly right as the gradient really needs to follow the path of the stroke which goes around a circle and along a straight line. 

Hi,I'm using Illustrator 2025 on OS 15.3. I've read all the posts on this and have changed all my guides accordingly. I've also restarted Illustrator. The pink smart guiades are showing but the green glyph guides are not. Some of my text has been Outlined and others have been Expanded. Thanks,Sonya

I feel struggling with this issue. I have tried to switch from GPU to CPU preview, asset formet, updated but still not working. How should I do? I turn on the opacity & mask define knockout shape and it shows transparent. However when I export jpg, the png part becomes jpg too.

I usually export all files as PNG to share easier through email, text or other messaging services.  I am not unable to export as "png" as it just shows a blank area when previewing what the PNG will look like.  Does not matter if the background is white, black or transparent it shows nothing as if there isn't an image being exported.  Please offere any advice if you've had this happen or simple troubleshooting that i can use to try to fix this.
