i used to be able to export ai files into standard dxf files but now the export reads autodesk realdwg (*dxf) which does not convert pattern in correct size. when i bring the new dxf file into a PDS system the scale is too small . when before i was ble to do it in 2024 illstrator

I'm trying to use the Generate Vectors (Beta) In Adobe Illustrator 2025.  I can load it and type in whatever I want, when I click generate it brings up a loading bar and tip as if it's generating soemrhing but then my box remains blank.  I've previously used it with no issue so seems to be since having the 2025 update.  I'm having this issue with Gen Shape Fill (Beta) too.  Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix which can be suggested please?  Thanks

In all previous versions of Illustrator, I was abel to have 3 panels stacked on top of eachother, docked on the side. Each panel having 3-5 tool tabs. The same is true of 2023. However, previously I was able to set the height of eight panel and it wouldn't change based on the tabs height. So, for instance, Id havelayers, Pathfinder, and artboards on topProperties, Alignment and Stroke in the center panelAnd then, (lets say) Swatches, Symbols, and Assets in Bottom Panel.Ive always been able to adjust the height of each (for instance) panel so they took up a 3rd of the space and they'd be fixed regardless of other tools size. If there was empty sapace, theres emply space. If there was more info beyond panel, it'd provide a scroll bar within the panel. But, now when I select a tab, everything resize based on that tab. In most cases It collapses the other panels all together, like if you have the "Properties" tab selected in center Panel, The top panel and bottom collapse to accomidate. I

I have been using the program for many years now, and among the many new features I miss a radial menu that can speed up my work.I use 2 third-party radial menus but in my opinion one implemented in the program would be perfect.

I'm not being able to save EPS files, everytime I try the following message appears: "Can't save the illustration Could not complete the requested operation."

 Hi! I am trying to export my project, in which I used 70% opacity for some images to make them lighter, but when I look at the final exported files, these images become much lighter. What settings should I change to make my export look the same as in illustrator?

Hi,I need support and advice on what to do. I have prepared a project in Illustrator containing graphic elements and blocks of text. My problem is that after saving and closing the project currently when I open it again the texts are no longer visible as if they are white.I can select the texts with the cursor but I cannot change any of the text features. However, in the file preview the texts on the project are normally visible. Please help, what should I do? 

Here you can see there is a positive sign next to hand sign. I assume this is used to copy properties of the lyers. How to get this?

How to move open files to the top of the Windows drop-down menu instead of scrolling past a gazillion options to get them at the bottom of the Window list? Can open files have their own drop down menu?

no sé la razón por la que no me deja guardar mi archivo, lo cambié carias veces o trate de copiarlo en otro nuevo, e incluso hacer todo desde cero pero parece que sigue dañado y solo me pasa cuando hago ese tema, traté de ver si era problema general e hice una nueva hoja con algo básico como texto un cuadrado de color, guardarlo y si se puede guardar. Hi,   Updated from version 27.9 to version 28 with the following issue. Crash Here are the two errors recieved when loading up Illustrator.   Previous versions of Illustrator work fine.   This error persists across 2 differnt PC's with identical errors.   We have tried everything in this post https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/plugin-missing-issue.html?trackingid=TG8SLGS2&mv=in-product&mv2=ai   Can anyone help with this?   Thanks! Hello- I have done lots of Googling but I am still very confused about mismatched color profiles. It began when I thought I sent the same art to the printer as previously, with a small type change. But, the color numbers changed when it arrived there. I am not sure what I chose (or what I am supposed to choose) when I opened it to make the edit and then re-saved it. After thought I thought I synced the profiles across CC but now I get warnings every time I open anything in InDesign or Illustrator (attaching screen shots). I have one particular file that it is important that the cmyk colors do not change when I 1) open it, then 2) cut and paste something in that file to another, and then 3) when the printer opens it. When opening do I preserve color numbers? Embedded profile? Should I sync in Bridge to North American General Purpose 2 or North America Prepress 2? I am most concerned that the colors match across print projects that I send out and that my screen shows me said colors befor

HELLO The latest version of Illustrator keeps freezing and crashing. I am unable to even do simple things like love layers around without it freezing. I have had to forxe quit the app half a dozen times, restart my computer, nothing helps!! I am absolutely unable to work, please help.

This folder contain custom colors. You can see some swatches are with white boder.  How to have all without white boder? and how to retrive it, in case of it is lost.

Hi all I've been using Illustrator 2023 version because I can't get any later versions to export my SVG files correctly into my EZ-CAD 2 software, the SVG parameters are the same (though I've had more success with saving 2025 as an SVG 1.0 and using 2023 SVG saved as SVG 1.1 version) but I keep getting this bizarre set of lines to one corner of the artboard that aren't there in illustrator.  I've tried experimenting with SVG settings but can't get rid of it, oddly it only seems to be there on round artwork (something that's almost round in shape).  Attached various examples and the SVG from 2023 illustrator that works fine (including the PNG of what it looks like when imported into EZ cad.) hopefully someone can help me get to the bottom of it as I can't keep having to use legacy softward eventually it will stop working!Thanks,Stevie

Après la mise à jour Illustrator 29.6 sur windows, Illustrator se fige et plante après quelques minutes d'utilisation. A noter j'ai eu le même problème après la mise à jour IN Design : In Design se fige et plante. Translation : After updating Illustrator to 29.6 on Windows, Illustrator freezes and crashes after a few minutes of use. Note: I had the same problem after updating IN Design: In Design freezes and crashes.

Hello everyone. Wondering if anyone help me with this issue.I am trying to get the top line and the objects to line up perfectly with the bottom line when I move the top line and objects to the bottom line. My snap to point are turned on and it still doesnt work. I tried to use the aligners but they do not line the objects the correct way. 

Hi all, I have one Mac computer that prints an Illustrator file that appear pixelated/fuzzy. There are no missing links in the document. Looks like this:Other Mac computers on the network are able to print the same file clearly:I don't think this is a printer issue but rather an Illustrator setting issue, but I'm completely lost. It's a Ricoh MP C6004 if that helps. 

Hi Community I am trying to get my textframes into the registration color form my swatches, but VS shows me this messages:   I already tried:text.textRange.characterAttributes.fillColor = doc.swatches[1].color;text.textRange.characterAttributes.fillColor = doc.swatches['[Registration]'].color;text.textRange.fillColor = doc.swatches[1].color;text.textRange.fillColor = doc.swatches['[Registration]'].color; The image above is just to show how I tried to look for an alert msg and what does it gets but shows error.can anybody help me? So in the latest version of Illustrator, when im using the selection tool, anytime I hover over an object or text, a little black or white box appears next to the cursor in the bottom right, and likewise once I select an object, then a little bounding box appears in the same spot next to the selection tool. I want to remove all three of these as it just is annoying that they keep popping up anytime im hovering over an object or text. Please Help!

I am trying to find the bounding box on a document.  In Illustrator you can select ALL objects and see the bounding box (width & height).  But I need to do this in a script.  How do you select all the objects on the document?  and How do you get the bounding box of those objects?
