Hi,I only have a Samsung Z-Fold 6, and hope to use Ai Web soon -please allow beta testing on mobile Chrome rather than requiring a desktop! If I had a desktop, I'd just download the Ai desktop app (o;   If it's buggy, that's fine -it's a beta.  Alternatively, please develop an Android Ai app, but I suspect that that is more difficult than simply turning off the browser-verification.  thanks for all you do for us creatives!SRVC

Whenever I work with text in Illustrator I always tend to face this problem: There are unwanted spaces in a selected text, which is hard to work with as it doesn't give me the accurate dimentions of the text. It gets even worse when when I use the tarcking characters option, it leaves a huge space on the right, higher the tracking number, bigger the space. It does not align properly in the center or to anything (as you can see, all the selected texts are aligned vertically and yet the tracked text leaves quite some room on the right, it's impractical).Some might suggest to outine the text, but that turns the letters into indivual shapes/objects, it works until I need to use the character settings which is no longer possible. Is there a way out of this? Feel free to leave any suggestions or advice. 

I have currently encountered a bug in the latest update of Adobe Illustrator (V29.0.1)Whenever I create a new document and selecting recent artboard size, it automatically goes back to the first/latest size. It happened not once but multiple times.On the screenshot, I specifically selected the red one, but after a few seconds, it selects/goes back to the blue one.

Can someone tell me why ican someone tell me why it's putting black behind my lines and how I get rid of it?  

I'm writing a script to convert any text from foot-inch to just inches. I am pulling my hair out trying to get a RegExp that will match all my corner cases as well as capture the correct info. I need to capture the Feet portion (if present), the inches portion (if present) and the fractional inches portion (if present). Also, these may be preceeded or followed by other text in the same line. I want to use the same RegExp pattern to do the replacement using String.replace().Are there any RegExp gurus out there that can help? Hi everybody, I'm not really an Illustrator guy, much more Photoshop. In Photoshop, when you zoom in/out the window changes size with the comp. In Illustrator it just hangs out and takes up space. I'm on a laptop without much screen space. Is there a setting that scales the window with the comp upon zoom in/out? There's just all this empty grey that I have to scale along every comp I'm working on, really bothersome. 

I'm trying to expand a gradient in Adobe Illustrator to convert it into blocks of color in specific steps, but the software won't allow me to do it. I've followed all the instructions to the letter and I'm sure I'm not making any mistakes. I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2025. Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

Hello all,Yesterday I saved files, today I cant open.  Long story short I was working with 3 separate projects. I was doing like 10 minutes overtime at the office. I pressed save on all of them, one after the other, after they saved (I was watching how the percentage goes to 100% in title of the window, and after the " * " sign dissapears at the end, thus confirming it saved).Now I saw this happening to all 3 of them. Today I start up my computer and it does a forced system update. (windows) It has been asking me for a while nowm but ive been postponing. After the update, 2 files are not opening, window comes up:  "text import options" if I press okay, i get an empty artboard."prezentare_vis_id.ai" and "design perete.ai" are the ones not working. They are 14MB and 18MB size.1 file opens up normally, no problem. Hi everyone, I recently purchased a Surface Laptop 7 with an ARM processor with the knowledge that it may have some incompatibilities with the software but unfortunately I can't download the beta of the Illustrator and InDesign programs (they are not shown in the BETA section of the Creative Cloud app). I live in Italy, as far as I understand the problem is the region? Is it possible to fix the problem?

Illustrator 2025 keep crashing - no idea why - help error file enclosed, I have removed and reinstalled Illustrator, I have also used the cleaning tool but still with it just crashes out of nowhere

It would be really useful if you had an indicator in the toolbar that shows if Edges are currently Hidden or Shown. It could also be a toggle, but just showing the status clearly and always would be enough.

This and the last version (24, 25) have a bug where Icant use the color picker on grouped objects. Even shift clickingdoesnt work. It is very frustrating and used to always workfine for me. hi . I had separate subscriptions for the illustrator and on the animate. This month I changed to creative Cloud with all Applikationen but it still shows in the illustrator for non- payment.

Hello Creatives,i hope you enjoy the new handy "objects on path" tool as i do.  Is there a way to make the objects on the path snap to smart guides, guides or even - let's go wild - to a grid? If these functions are not included yet, i would love to see this in the future, as sometimes you work within systems and/or objects are related to each other. Hi all -- Help/ideas needed!  I use Illustrator all the time for graphic design projects. I have auto-save turned on, and I've never lost any work... until now. Twice over the past two weeks, the following has happened (with the same project I'm working on): I spent time making editsWhen I finished working, I made sure the project auto-saved, and then I closed IllustratorWhen I reopened the project the next time, I found that my edits had not in fact savedFirst, I thought that maybe Illustrator had crashed and that's why they didn't save. Yet, there was no "recovered" file to choose from, and I didn't receive any alert.Then, I looked to revert the file to the previous saved version, hoping my edits would be logged there. But, according to my Mac and Illustrator itself, I had never even opened the document during the day I made the edits, so there is no version to revert to.  What's going on? Hey Everyone!I have finally got some time to try to tackle this issue. So far I have been living with it but it has finally just hit me on how ridiculous and time wasting this issue is to continue to bear with. The problem is as follows:I use 2 4k monitors in a dual monitor setup. I often don't split my workspace onto the two monitors but rather use one monitor for my workspace and the other for internet and windows explorer windows. The problem is that whenever I move my Illustrator program over to the 2nd monitor (Cintiq Pro) the dialog and menu boxes (resize, move, rotate, save, export, scale) all show up on Monitor one. This completely breaks my workflow since I have to put down the Wacom pen, and move the box over using the mouse from Monitor 1 to Monitor 2 (Cintiq Pro). A way to fix this is to drag any dialog box over to Monitor 2 every time it pops up, somehow Illustrator remembers this and then begins to load them in the correct Monitor. Hi community,Really hoping someone can help me because I am going insane, and a project that should have taken me a couple of hours has taken over 10+, and I imagine my client is getting very frustrated.  I am working on a project for a client of mine, she is wanting to have some A6 flyers printed.I made the documents in Adobe Illustrator, they are virtually the same apart from one main image. When saving as PDF, one saves perfectly, the other is saving dark. I'm not doing anything differently - why is one changing colour, when the palettes are the same and the saving process is exactly the same? I have just been on a live chat and remove access with Adobe, and wasted 2 hours, I don't feel like the advisor understood the issue properly and I am now even more frustrated as I have repeated myself for so long.  Can someone PLEASE help me?I've attached a comparsion so you can see. Thanks in advance  

Installed the new Illustrator 2025 and now the Pencil tool can't draw an accurate line to save its digital life. Experience taught me to not delete the old version, so I tried the same line in the previous version with the same settings. Image attached shows what I should be able to draw on the left (red line): I can accurately trace the shape and even round the ends to not be sharp. 'Illy' 2025 on the right (blue line): every time I try to redraw/adjust a line throws a new part of it out of place. And forget rounding the sharp corners. I've un-checked all the 'Snap to...' options on both versions of Illustrator and can't think of anything else to tweak to fix this. Any ideas? (Coworker has the same issue, but others in the dept. do not. ??)  

Good day to all! I have been strugelling with exporting svg from AI for about two months now. For some reason, when I export my file to svg it is shifting elements around. For example, if I created the gap\space between several paths evenly, after exporting it to SVG paths loosing it position and the gap\space between them is now uneven.  How to prevent the elements\objects\paths from moving around when exporting to svg?  I have tried to exporting with unchecked "responsivness". I tried also with "preserve illustrator edditing". Nothing worked. I really need that space between the paths to stay even.  I will really appriciate any answer on this matter! Thank you!
