I don’t understand what’s going on with Creative Suite lately, but it has become a huge pain.Today, I wasn’t able to open Illustrator because it says, “Adobe Illustrator 2026 quit unexpectedly.” When I click “Reopen,” everything disappears while it shows that it’s trying to launch the program — and then I’m back to the beginning.I restarted my Mac and tried again, but the same thing happened.Now I’m going to uninstall Illustrator and install the downgraded version 30.2.1 at least it is opening now.How you manage to ruin things that used to work perfectly fine is something I will never understand. I sincerely hope you’re not relying on artificial intelligence for your development team about programs, because apparently, this isn’t working. 

It is unbelievable that after years of being a loyal Adobe customer, I’m facing constant freezes in Adobe Illustrator. The software hangs right at the start, making it impossible to work efficiently.I’m a professional designer with over two decades of experience, and I’ve maintained my CC account since its inception. I only use the Pantone Connect plugin. My question to Adobe is: when are you going to look out for your users? We pay for a service that is supposed to be stable. If a clean, paid install can't handle a simple launch, what are we actually paying for?Thanks 😤

I don’t have any masks on but whenever I print this tile out, a black and white stripe shows up on my image. Is there anything I’m doing or not doing?

Illustrator opens normally but shortly after I start working it becomes unresponsive and shows “Not Responding.” This issue began after the latest update. For the past two days I haven’t been able to continue my projects.I have to force close the program through Task Manager and after doing so, the Start menu button also stops working. I have to restart my computer again and again…I reset my preferences nothing changed. Then I uninstalled and installed again, nothing changed.I would appreciate your assistance with resolving this issue. The program is up to date. I use the latest version. My subscription is up to date. Thank you.

Hi, does anybody have any idea why these two shapes are judged to be NOT overlapping. This is the shape of Spain and Portugal. When you select them both and click on “Intersect” in Pathfinder I thought it should cut the shape of Portugal out of the yellow shape. However, when you click on “intersect” you get a message that says “the filter produced no results . Please select two overlapping paths” The shapes appear to overlap! What am I doing wrong?

Hi! I've messaged on several forums before elsewhere hoping someone has a work around for this but haven't had any luck. Here is the problem I have: 1. Design a file in Illustrator, save it as an SVG and then open it in my laser cutting software (Lightburn). and the size is different. 2. I've checked off responsiveness so that's not the problem. 3. I've purchased SVG files from other places and can open their files in both Lightburn and Illustrator and the file object size is the same. 4. I know it's not off by a lot but I need it to be the exact same size as these files I'm creating will be for selling. 5. I've also designed it in my lightburn program FIRST, exported it to Illustrator and the size still changes.  I'd appreciate any help at all as to what I'm doing wrong before I scratch my eyeballs out - I've been at this for over two weeks trying to find a solution. The Lightburn program has import settings at 72 DPI and the settings I usually

I´m printing machine overlays on a Mimaki UCJV300 UV-printer. The material is transparent PC plastic.I have an issue with tranparency when I´m printing lighter colors (yellow, white, sky blue etc). How can I setup a black blocking layer in Illustrator that is alwys printed behind everything else with full coverage? I have tried to make a black rectangle at the bottom of the layer tree, but it only gets printes outside all the other objects. It doesn´t get printed behind them to act like a blocking layer.

So.. I slice up a design in Ai to export web jpgs for use in Dreamweaver - all good - I then make some Changess to the design and want to re-export the slices... suddenly ALL SLICES ARE NOT WORKING! The slices seem to be there, well the shape is there, but they are not active slices any more.The only fix is to re-slice the design. I had to re-slice a file 4 times the other day!! arrgghhhh!!! So frustrating to have to re-slice the design evey time I want to export. Anyone else having this issue?? got any ideas/solutions?Ive searched online but cant find any one else facing this issues.Ive tried uninstall/reinstall of Ai but no luck. WELP!

In Illustrator, when I “Save” or “Save As...” I cannot paste a name into the dialogue box. It ‘beeps’ like an error.

Buenos días:El otro día instalé la última versión de illustrator y desde entonces cuando utilizo el scroll para desplazarme se me queda activado continuamente y el programa deja de responder. Este error me obliga a cerrar el programa y volverlo a abrir. Al mismo tiempo es muy íncómodo porque tengo que trabajar mentalizada en no utilizar el scroll por el documento.¿Le ha pasado a alguien más? Muchas gracias.Un saludo,Beatriz

 I am experiencing a severe and recurring bug where text elements shift entirely out of their designated objects and bounding boxes. This is most prominent when opening older files or files created in previous versions.Even after updating to the latest version of Illustrator, the issue persists. Every single time I open a project, I have to waste hours manually rearranging text to its correct place. It is incredibly frustrating, tiring, and is significantly impacting my professional productivity.  Updating the software has not fixed the problem. without update  previous allighment and position were this.after updating file text had changed its position. 

1. Am I allowed to embed advertisements in the Adobe CEP plugin I developed?2. Is it legal to embed advertisements of the company where the plugin developer works?3. If the plugin is not uploaded to the Adobe Store, is it allowed to embed advertisements in the plugin?4. Are the profits from advertisements in the plugin legal? Thank you

So this issue started only a few days ago but it has made it so I can’t do any of my design work.Illustrator laggs out for 30 seconds to a minute when I'm scrolling through the character lists and wanting to test different fonts for a design. This is sometimes not so bad, but with a little bit more graphically intense/ complicated fonts it is so bad. The program just completely decides to lagg out on me and I can't do anything about it.I have tried to install other versions, redownload the newest versions, tried disabling the ‘Enable missing glyph protection’ and I have GPU performance mode on. Any idea's on what to fix? My computer specs are:AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core processor32GB of RAMSamsung SSD 970 EVO PlusNVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Down here is a font example where illustrator freezes for 30 seconds to a minute 

Hey there!I've just run into a very weird problem with Illustrator CC. I can't seem to copy and paste anything. I'm not copying or pasting from another program or even from another illustrator file, copying simply doesn't add anything to the clipboard and paste is always grayed out in the Edit menu.After googling a bit I saw a forum post on the Google Chrome forums saying the issue was related to Chrome being open and the Skype Click-to-call extension interfering with Illustrator's clipboard, but I don't have the Skype Click-to-call extension and even if I close Chrome and relaunch Illustrator, no luck.I'm all out of ideas, can anyone help? As you can imagine this is super frustrating!

"Illustrator bug (latest version): I can't copy/paste smart objects into Photoshop or import my files into InDesign (the rendering is invisible). Only transferring to a new .ai file seems to 'fix' the content. Has anyone else experienced this problem with the connection between Adobe software recently?"

In Adobe Illustrator 26 on macOS 15.7.4 (Sequoia), externally linked .PSD files are not being preserved. The .PSD functions normally when first placed and can be updated or opened via the Links panel. After saving and reopening the document, the link is inactive, with “Update Link” and “Edit Original” greyed out. The PSD has to be relinked, which is then lost on the next save/open.Illustrator 25 works fine.

I have my variables set up. I've loaded a variable library (CSV) and exported all the datasets as images.Then I was able to load a new csv file and export it again.But after changing anything in the file, I now get the dreaded "The filter cannot complete because of an unknown error."I saved a backup and deleted all the bindings and it loads. But I have too many bound objects to set up each time to do this every time I make a change and load a new csv file. Deleting the datasets doesn't even fix it. I have to unbind and rebind the objects to get it working again. I've had this happen before and just lived with it, but this time I have too many objects to redo it. Is there anything I can do to get it to work? Thanks,Bryan 

Hello,I have two layers I am trying to trace on.  When I lower the opacity on one layer, the image does not show through clearly.  Is there any way to fix this?

Bonsoir la communauté, J’ai un bug sur mes fichiers illustrator et je ne vois pas d’où vient le problème.Je travaille sous profil Coated Fograph 39. Quand je mets un noir d’impression (C30, M30, J30, N100). Si j’exporte en pdf ou si je ferme et réouvre mon fichier, systématiquement, mes noirs deviennent (C0, M0, J0, N100).J’ai beau choisir l’option dans mes préférences “reproduire tous les noirs comme noirs intense”, cela ne change rien. Auriez vous une piste? Je vous remercieCé

I opened a file I was working on yesterday and ALL color swatches used are missing. What happened? Where did they go? I opened some older files, and same thing across MULTIPLE files. All color swatches gone. How do I get these back?!? Adobe Illustrator 29.7.1

While visiting the Adobe help site, I just realized that the Photoshop and Illustrator user guides are no longer available. Those guides contained complete, technical, and detailed information about the applications. Now, the new guides are very basic for beginners. I'd like to know who has access to the complete Photoshop and Illustrator user guides and why Adobe no longer publishes them.

Hi,I am trying to make a globe with longitude and latitude. I have sucessfully made the first globe in this illustration (this is not my design):  ...but what I’m struggling with is the second globe. Ignore the map, colouring and labels, I’m simply looking at drawing the concentric circles of latitude and longitude, all heading towards or meeting at the north pole. I think I can get my head around the latitude by drawing circles and then using Shape Builder to trim them, but it’s the lines of longitude that are difficult. I asked AI and it gave me these instructions:Step 1: Create the Grid (The "Map Art")Before we make the globe, we need a flat grid to wrap around it. Draw a Rectangle. Hold Shift to make it a perfect square. Give it a stroke and no fill. With the square selected, go to Object > Path > Split into Grid. Set the number of Rows (Latitude) and Columns (Longitude). For a standard look, try 12 Rows and 24 Columns. Click OK. Open your Symbols Panel (Window > Sym

ola!Estou com problemas na instalação de alguns programas.Ja falei com dois atendentes por chat e por ultimo recebi um email me instruindo a vir aqui na comuniddae.Meu Macbook tem a versão Big Sur 11.7.11, acabei de assina o creative cloud Pro.Porem, nao estou conseguindo baixar versões anteriores de alguns aplicativo como por exemplo o ILLUSTRATOR.uma atendente por chat  me enviou link do Illustrator    2024 para baixar.mas, nao deu certo.acho que precisar ser versão anterior tipo 2023.por exemplo o photoshop que tem aqui no mac e de 2021Como posso solucionar isso?  alguém pode me ajudar ?
