Cuando hago una figura libre con este tipo de degradado, no puedo copiarla porque me desaparece el degradado y ademas tambien todas las propiedades de la pieza, a partir de ahi ya no puedo darle color plano ni degradado. ¿Es un problema del programa?

I used to see three alternatives when I generate a vector, but now I only see the one option that is added to the artboard. I'm not sure if I have hidden it somewhow, anyone able to help please?

Hi there, I created artwork for a client in a CMYK color space. I'm needing to take those designs into one of RGB. When copy/pasting arwork there is a dramatic color shift (CMYK to RGB). I've tried selecting the artworkin and changing color modes via 'edit colors > convert to' and no luck.I've also tried taking a screenshot of the artwork in the CMYK color space, dropping it into a CMYK one so that I might eye dropper the colors from there but when the screenshot image is placed into the RBG space the same dramatic color shift happens. Attached is the original CMYK art, the shifted RGB art, and the color space info.Help is greatly appreciate!

 Hello! I started learning making 3d objects in illustrator and i faced a problem. When i transform the object into 3d (any type of 3d) it becomes grained. How to avoid this? I attached a screenshot to show how it looks

I work primarily in AutoCAD and Illustrator. I used to be able to simply drag my DWG files into Illustrator and have all the layers be grouped correctly together. Now with this new update (28.6), doing the same thing causes Illustrator to crash regardless of the DWG file size.Has this happened to anyone else since the newest update came out?

I recently started a job that provides me with all creative cloud apps. Can I delete/stop paying for my account and then potentially start using it and paying for it again in a few years? is there an easy way to move things from one account to another? Are there any reccomendations for a situation like this?  

Hi there, I am creating booklets to be exported as PDFs and used as online story guides. I want to add alt text to the images. I have clicked on Slice Options and typed in text in the Alt field. Do I need to fill in the other fields as well? How will I know if the alt text has worked?  Thank you. 

I use this (one of the Default)  Profile for my project:But I found the "tip" too pointed?So I edited it with the Width tool but there are a number of "difficulties" I could work around?This is where I got, so far:You see the "tip" of the Profile that I thickened but how would I "smooth" the two points where the thickness of the Profile becomes 30 pts, the thickness of the Stroke? That does not seem to be possible. I wish Adobe would make some kind of "Profile Editor"...  

This is a multi-part question. 1) I am trying to make a border with multiple rectangles with in. Like the image below, except I want all the rectangles evenly spaced and the same width.  I cannot find a way to get it precisely even. When I used the distribute spacing tool, it does this, which is clearly not even spacing. 2) I want the corners to be rounded as these will be going on coasters and those are the dimension I need to follow. If I pull all the corners in at the same time, will that still retain the equal spacing? I ask because, when I do this, it almost seems like the closer the rectangle is to the center, the more I need to pull the corners in because the angle is not the same as the outward rectangle. But maybe I'm just imagining things.   

Hi everyone!Today I noticed that I can't start my Illustrator on Win 10. Last version - 28.6. Fully updated. Yesterday it was closed, and today it can't to start. I even tried to remove all cloud application + Creadive Cloud Desktop, and then re-installed everything back. The same story - "Initializing...". I even tried to install previous versions. Nothing helped.  Has anyone had similar problems?Thanks!

I am trying to setup a demonstration for my students to achieve a "halftone" effect like this:I have seen this from a guy on YouTube (I should give hism credit but I don't know his name... I'll have to look it up). It's two series of "lines", A) one thicker (behind) than the other (in front), B) using "Profiles" for the front lines (created with the Width tool). It is a very neat technique. So I drew two Black Strokes, 30pts, and then Blended with 21 Steps in between. Here's a link to the Illustrator document if you're interested to see where I'm starting from:30 pts Strokes.aiNow, I need to somehow "crop" the strokes to some shape and this is where I'm having diffioculty. To experiment, I drew an orange ellipse. At this point, I "should", in an ideal world, be able to select both the Blend and the Ellipse and Crop the Strokes to the shape of the ellipse but it's not working.I tried different things to no avail. Hi. Im trying to make seamless patterns and want to crop the 3x3in design ive created. But when i select the pathfinder crop option (after masking the design), I find that all the stroke line (without fill) are disappearing. How do i solve this?Thank you

I currently have a compound path rectangle whose red line is 2" by 2" but whose shape is 2' by 2'.  I want to mainting the 2" x 2" red line while making the rectangle as a whole 4' x 4'.  How do I go about doing this? Whenever I change the dimensions in the Transform Panel, it either makes the red line bigger or smaller than 2".

I know this is a very common problem, but asking (Adobe) again, is there any planned fix to Illustrator UI becoming unresponsive to clicks after an extended macOS system sleep?  Illustrator doesn't crash, and Force Quit menu does not show Illustrator as unresponsive, but the Illustrator UI doesn't respond to any clicks or key commands, so you have to force quit it (and lose work if you didn't save) to restart work after an extended system sleep.  It does not happen after a short sleep. Anyhow, my M2 does it, five other colleagues at my work also regularly experiencing it (all Mac M-chips), and lots of Adobe + Reddit posts from similarly frustrated users. 🤷🏻‍♂

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me because it's driving me crazy. I'm creating an email signature for my business, which is made up of an image, text and logo, in Illustrator and I can't for the life of me get it to export as a clear, small image. I've tried Export > PNG/JPG > 72/150/300, i've tried Save for Web in PNG/JPG/GIF. I've opened it in Photoshop and InDesign to try an export from there and that's not working either. Whatever I try, it's not working. I've tried it on different screens and it's definitely not the Mac, so i'm stuck with a solution.Any thoughts? I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.thanks in advanceJosie

I have finally got illustrator to export architectural .pdf files to a .dxf file that doesn't distort or remove the text. I am trying to import the .dxf into another application and it has issues interpreting the file unless the following conditions have been met: All Files must be in a .dxf formatAll the files that create the sheet need to be in a single file (no reference files).All of the text and all of the dimensions need to be exploded to the point that it is no longer an actual text font just lines and shapes.The last bullet point is what I am struggling with. Does anyone have any suggestions on settings for this? I really don't want to have to buy an ACAD license to do this.

Hi,my calligraphy brushes in Illustrator don´t have the option "pressure" available anymore. I have a Wacom Intuos and this problem is only since two weeks or so. Before, I was able to create new calligraphy brushes with pressure sensitivity available. Can anyone please help me? I need this function desperately.

When importing a DWG file with external references into illustrator, the links are not imported. The external references are not longer included.

I am not sure what changed but the latest update (AI 28.6) has made AI slow and glitchy.  It was taking me several to a few 10s of seconds to type a few letter words because it was so laggy.  I am working on a 2023 MacBook Pro with the M2 Max CPU/GPU and 64 GB of LPDDR5 memory (i.e., the laptop has way more than enough power).  Please fix this because it is insufferable to sit and wait for the simplest of tasks operating on the fewest of vectors.  Before this update I was manipulating billions of vector graphics in fractions of a second but now it takes several seconds to highlight a single line.

I saved artwork in the pdf format from illustrator, but the pdf file now has been corrupted and I have lost a lot data. Kindly help me.

How do I keep the font panel popup open after I have selected a font? Right now, when I select a font, the popup closes and I have to start the scrolling process all over again if I want to select a different font. In older versions of illustrator, I remember I was able to keep the font panel open. Please help!

I am missing the little Stroke and Fill icons at the top left of my Illustrator window.  Please help me get them back.  I have tried all my saved workspaces with no luck.UPDATEFound them!   Thanks.
