what could be the error when exporting to jpeg/ png?? 

This is a complete showstopper for me. I can't export SVGs at all after the latest update (when it dares to open!) stating that is "Unable" to export files.Also constantly crashes, most of the time won't open at all. This is the first version that really has serious problems I've seen in a long time.

I am not sure if this is possible but I need to flip or reverse text in multiple textboxes.This is a complicated pattern that had to be mirrored in the middle of working on it. It would be so much work if I had to export the pattern from the cad software again and start all over.The problem is that the text is mirrored too now. There are hundreds of textboxes so it is not possible to flip them back individually by hand. I would love to Object select all text boxes and reverse them.Any ideas how to approach this? Hi,I'm designing some merch for my business and am wanting to have transparent writing on a rectangle shape.Everything worked well for my first attemps, but the recent one with the font I like the most doesn't seem to apply the transparency to the entire word. I created it by Type WordCreate shapeSelect word and 'create outlines'Go to pathfinder and 'minus front' You can see above the RMAN that it gets cut off. There is a black background to the black writing is actually transparent.This is how my earlier versions came up with a different font (but all steps followed the same) If anyone can please help fix the issue that would be much appreciated. On July 2nd, Creative Cloud unexpectedly disconnected during my work session (confirmed via status.adobe.com). I was logged out, Adobe Fonts were disabled, and Illustrator automatically replaced all missing fonts in several open files – in some cases with completely unrelated fonts like barcode styles.Without any prompt or confirmation, Illustrator saved these changes on closing. Hi everyone, i bought a new pc yesterday and setup the adobe apps on my new pc. But the illustrator's icons are very small. I have vision loss. My screen is very big and my windows settings are not default. I use the accessibility features that Windows provides for visually impaired users.They are How can i solve this problem?  

I have an illustrator artwork with the artboard size 200 in x 20 in. The artwork is well within the bounds of the artboard. Earlier, I was able to save the .ai file as a PDF without any problem. Suddenly, the .ai file is refusing to be saved as a pdf with the message "The dimensions of this page are out of range". I am using Adobe illustrator CC 2018Any help is welcome.Thanks.

Hi all! I'm working on an Illustrator file and have used Live Paint for several areas. In the Illustrator document, everything looks good, but when I export to PDF, thin white or clear outlines appear around certain painted areas (where I've live painted in a new color, or erased and then filled in a color): see screenshot below. I can't figure out how to fix this and would so appreciate any insights. Thank you so much!

Everything on image trace is greyed out.  Preset, View, Mode, Palette, Threshold (and everything in the advanced section too.)  I think I hit a button that caused this, but now not sure what to do?

I need help printing playing cards. The cards need to be symmetrical and use the entire A4 page so they can be cut out (without bleed). This way, I'll make four cuts and have ready-made cards without any trimming. I've made a design, and while the width of the cards is fine, the vertical width of the last card is 2mm bigger. I don't know how to handle this.  Do you have any suggestions on what's wrong with this project? Could it be the printer's fault?

Firstly, please excuse my ignorance in such things I normally work mainly in Product Design but sometimes I get roped into the more Graphic end of things as I work for a small company.  I've been tasked with creating a design file for an exhibition booth - 5 panels roughly 1x2 metres but was asked to provide the artwork as a PDF at 25% scale. I believe I've managed to get the Illustrator file set up correctly but the trouble now is the file appears to be too large to export to PDF (I have the High Quality Print preset selected just with added trim marks). I tried exporting individual artboards rather than the whole file in one go but that also is not working. The file contains a lot of high-res embedded images so I'm wondering if that could be an issue? And if so how do I optimise images so I can export to PDF but without losing their quality? Or is there something else I need to be doing/checking? Any help from any proper graphic designers would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to align the centre of this object to the grid, but as you can see it keeps snapping the edges to the grid. Please tell me, how do I snap the centre, not the edges, to the grid? I've tried changing the reference point of the object in the Transform Panel, but that has no effect. 

Hey zusammen, eine neue Funktion in Ai ist, dass man Bei den Voreinstellungen nun direkt in dem Suchfeld für die Voreinstellungen landet. Wäre cool, wenn man die wenigstens deaktivieren könnte. Ich weiß nicht, wie es euch so geht und ob ihr das auch so nutzt, aber über die Jahre hat sich bei meiner Arbeitsweise die Funktion „Apfel-K –> direkte Einstellmöglichkeiten der Tastaturschritte“ eingefleischt. Geht jetzt nicht mehr 😭 erst nach vier Mal Tab drücken landet man in dem passenden Feld.  Scheint nur ne Kleinigkeit zu sein, aber hat jemand auch diese Erfahrung gemacht und ärgert sich?  VGDer Dennis  

Hola comunidad. Desde hace un tiempo, tengo problemas cuando dibujo con trazos de pincel: no puedo editar el trazo seleccionado, tampoco puedo editar anchura de trazo... Creo que algo de la configuración no está funcionando, pues NO ES NORMAL QUE NO PUEDA DIBUJAR LIBREMENTE. Uso una Wacom intuos pro y la verdad que estoy muy decepcionada porque no adelanto con mis ilustraciones. Alguien puede darme algún consejo? Trabajo con iMac 24" con Sonoma 14.5. Gracias

Hey Alle zusammen, seit dem Update auf Ai 29.7.1 geht bei mir die schritweise Änderung der Schriftgröße über den Befehl „Shift alt command“ und Komma bzw Punkt nicht mehr. Geht es hier anderen auch so oder ist das Problem bekannt?  Danke für eure Antworten!  Der Dennis

I've tried to google this problem but It seems some others are having a similar issue but there hasnt been a solution.   When pasting text from word (or anywhere) into illistrator it pastes as an image so I cant change the text size, colour ect ect.   A work around a found is to make a text box using T then pasting into that, this does paste the text as text however it removes all formatting (yes ive tired to change preferances but this doesnt help)    I have so much text to paste in and it has many Emojis within the text and many words are spiradicallty Bold, if i cant keep the format while pasting it is literally days of extra work.   Does anyone have any ideas?   This issue is also the same when copping text, it coppies as an image and the only way to paste it out is via word where you can select 'keep text only'.    

Hi,So I see the latest version of illustrator still doesnt treat multiple instances of the same link as Indesign does. That is if I want to relink 50 + instances of a single file I need to go through each and every link and manually replace them - Why dont you make it function the same as Indesign in that I can chose to relink all instances at once or chose to relink the individual files as I see fit?Why do you release an entirely new version of the Apps without taking into account basic things like this that people have been requesting for years???Please add this functionality, its a basic bit of script that greatly increases productivity - Honestly should anyone even really need to suggest this?

Only in Illustrator - colours change when I switch illustrator from my primary monitor to my secondary monitor.With both AI colour modes. RGB/CMYK makes no difference.The monitors are fully calibrated. All colours in all images opened outside of AI are exactly the same. Also no problem with Photoshop or other applications. Only AI. Colour profiles are syncronised in CC.Am I missing a setting somewhere?
