Bonjour, Je vous sollicite pour un problème concernant l'export d'un fichier Indesign en pdf. Il s'agit d'une affiche comportant des images importées (en format png fond transparent, détourées ou retouchées sur Photoshop). Lorsque le pdf exporté s'affiche, je contaste un fin quadrillage qui apparaît sur certaines images, qui n'était pas visible sur Indesign (image ci-dessous). Savez-vous d'où cela peut venir ?Il semblerait qu'en imprimant avec une imprimante de bureau la quadrillage ne soit plus présent, mais je crains qu'il soit visible si on l'imprime chez un professionnel. Je vous remercie d'avance pour la réponse que vous pourrez m'apporter.

Can anyone help with this, please. When I click on an object in InDesign to move it, it jumps to the right. I've tried changing  Snap in preferences but this doesn't seem to do anything.  I've also re-installed InDesign loosing any preferences - again, this doesn't work. Many thanks in advance. 

Is it possible to design a flyer with 8 pages, where each page is 21 cm x 9.9 cm, and print it on an A3 sheet of paper in a foldable triplet format? or are there other ways ? As a designer I should think about it or printing house can find the ways

Hi everyone! so whenever I try to export a dicument from InDesign a white border appears around the document inspite of enlarging the images and fitting its frame size. I have also kept the bleed area to 0.125 inches.

Dear All, I want to release an all anchored objects from my file. All anchors are created inside the table. I am using InDesign CS4.I have a file for 4 pages which is containing more than 150 images to be released from anchored. That images should be placed in the same place. Only need to release. I want to do this for more than 100 files (400 pgs. it may increase in future). I tried this in Search/replace option using Object, but only i can able to find using custom option in the anchor options panel, not able to relase using search and replace. Please help me ASAP.Thanks in Advance, Thiru

Create a button to license adobe stock content previews from the links panel. its not complicated, makes life easier and will generate revinue (your god) 

What is the best way to do this? I can do this by applying the gradient feather on two different sides of the same two images, adjusting the frame edges, and snapping them together (like in the example below).   

When I toggle LOCK on a layer, I want it locked. Currently it is still selectable, copyable, etc... Locked means locked!!!

Hello friends,since the last update for InDesign I have problems with the presentation mode. Every time I use it, the surface/window is changed to the maximum size.(Example: InDesign window = half screen -> CMD + W -> Indeisgn covers the whole screen). Before the update this was not an issue,now it is really annoying, because I have to adjust the window again after every "CMD+W"! Can anyone confirm that they also have this problem?

My PDF exports are no longer displaying correctly.  I use Apple pages and I never used to have this issue. I've tried a lot of different things but I can't seem to be able to resolve this issue. It displays correctly on an iPad and an iPhone but it does not display correctly on a Mac or pc. Has anyone had this issue? How can I resolve this? The bottom photo is how it's supposed to display.   

Hello! I have duplicate part numbers that are being listed separately. However, there are part numbers that appear in multiple pages in my catalog. How do I get duplicates to list on the same line in the index with all the page numbers that the part number can be found on? What I currently have:14344-01.............. 20914344-01.............. 211 What I want:14344-01.............. 209, 211  Thank you SO MUCH for your help! I've been searching the web for answers and can't come across anything!  

Hi there When I export my indesign doc as pdf (pages) and print as booklet, the pagination is set up correctly but there is a gutter inserted between the pages, in the centre of the spread. There is no gutter specified on my document set up. Its basically just printed paginated pages next to one another, with margins that extend around all four sides of the single page, instead of being joined in the centre of the spread. How do I remove this gap? Printing from indesign directly works perfectly but it is not an option, the print quality is completely different and very poor.  Thanks! 

Dear Community, since the recent update to v20.1, InDesign has been crashing without warning during standard operations. This happens, for example, when moving or copying objects to a different spread, when assigning objects to a different layer, or sometimes even when moving objects that affect text flow within their spread. I hope the next update will fix these issues. Question: Can I revert to the previous version of InDesign? Or will I then be unable to open current documents? Best regards to everyone!amr

I have a problem using Adobe InDesign. When I click on something with the cursor using the left mouse button, something different happens instead of a normal click. I'm not exactly sure what, but I think it might be a combination of a double-click and what I’ll call a "deselect click" (I'll explain what I mean in a moment).For example, when I click on an element, like a text frame, nothing happens at first, as if the program is lagging, and then the element moves slightly. When I try to edit an image within a frame by double-clicking on it, the image inside the frame is selected for a brief moment, but then the selection jumps back to the frame itself.Another example: When I have a text frame selected and want to apply a paragraph style, I click on the corresponding style in the Paragraph Styles panel. Hello, I have no experience to skript. However, my problem is: I have designed a catalog for a client. In the past it contained no prices, only the product descriptions, names, pictures etc.The client used to add a separate price list (.xls) to the catalogue, so that he didn´t have to print the whole catalog new, when prices changed.However, now he does want to reprint the catalog with the included prices (we are talking about several hundret prices, the catalog has 72 pages ... ).Question is, whether I can somehow add fields (manually) to the existing indesign Document, that will tell InDesign to automatically grab the price for the specific product-ID I want from the CSV pricelist?So that, when the pricelist changes next year (with prices in a different order, due to deletion of old products and newly added products), it will still find the right price via the product-ID? Is there any easy way to do this? I am trying to locate instances on Minion Pro Regular. According to the Find/Replace Font dialog box, it is used on 12 different pages, in a total of 19 characters. But when I click on "Find Next", nothing happens.   I tried do a Find for [No Paragraph Style], but that came back with no results. How can I see actually where this font is being used?  

I can’t move object boxes or text boxes using the Selection tool anymore. I also can’t move around the pages as I normally would. Is there a setting I may have accidentally changed that’s restricting movement?

Hi all,I'm currently job hunting and urgently need to edit my portfolio, but the InDesign file just won't open anymore. InDesign crashes immediately when I try to open it. I'm working on a pretty old MacBook (2013, running Big Sur 11.7.10) and I can't download the latest version of InDesign, so I thought it might be that, even though it was working fine until recently (I created the file on this MacBook and it was handling it fine). However, I tried to open it on my partner's much newer MacBook (2021), using the latest version of InDesign and its still crashing straight away.I've trawled every forum post I can find, tried restarting everything, trashing preferences and caches, deleting recovery data, even running a script that was supposed to convert it to IDML without opening it (but it still crashed).It's not a massive file so rebuilding it wouldn't take too long, but I'm just hoping that someone out there knows of a last option I can try that will mean I don't need to spend precious

Please tell me there's a way to stop this guy from popping up any time I click on an image or image frame in InDesign... WHY isn't that an option?!? (or is it?)

I upgrades from CS5 to CC about a year ago probably. My fonts were displaying in the list of fonts in families before, no issue. Now they are all separate. Example, if I want to switch from Arial and some of the text is bold or italic, if I switch to Adobe Jenson I have to select a single type (bold, regular, italic, etc.) Then all the text is the same without the settings that I made and I have to go back through and bold or italcize things.

For some odd reason if I have text and format using a PAR style it still has a HCAR style which is oiverriding the PAR style regarding font type etc. How can i format a par style that it will always have the "last word" on all font attributes.Thank you SF

Hey All Until yesterday, this function was working ok - but today, I cannot drag and drop anything with the selector tool in either ID24 or ID25.  I have rebooted, upgraded, and downgraded docs to the new and old versions of ID, but nothing seems to be working. I can move items by changing the X and Y locations, bumping with the arrow keys, but not dragging with the selector tool. Is anyone else having these issues, or is it just me? It's driving me crazy and taking twice as long to complete tasks. HELP!
