Hello, just bought a membership of lighroom cloud, when i bought the membership its sais that i have access to classic lightroom not cloudbased. i need the map module but i have cloud membership. how can i get the other version of lightroom please

Lightroom Classic 14.0.1 kann keine Fotos von Sony A1 II importieren. Mit LRC 14.2 funktioniert es anstandslos. Ich muss aber mit der Version LRC 14.0.1 weiterarbeiten, da mein Rechner (CPU) keine AVX2 Unterstützung hat und dadurch kein update auf LRC 14.2 möglich ist. Was muss ich machen, damit die Bilder von der Sony A1 II importierbar sind?

Bisher wurden im Kartenmodul kleine Bilder an den Positionen (wie ein Tooltip oder Thumbnail) angezeigt.Das funktioniert bei mir in LrC 14.2 nicht mehr

lightroom classic 15.3.1. – yes i know, it is not the latest version, but i tried 14.1. and it was a complete mess. so i had to reinstall the older version. Worked fine until yesterday, unfortunately during a sports event, when it decided to slow down immediately. I had set up an automatic import– didn't work, export extreme slowly, restarted it several times, restarted the computer… this program gets on my nerves and costs me time and money. I don't know the cause but I cannot open the new version of Lightoom with my existing (large-1m) catalog. The update occured as I was in the process of doing a clean update to Windows 11 from Windows 10 on my desktop. I have a full back up of the catalog that worked fine with the previous version. Version 14.0insists on updating it, but after the update it will not work with the catalog. Just get  'An error prevented lightroom classic from opening this catalog'. No error message when performing the conversion, just on re-launching. I've tried the suggested Adobe solution of deleting the CURRENT file and forcing Lightroom to re-start. Makes no difference. Have also tried uninstalling and re-installing v14.0, again, same issue. This is critical to me as I was half way through processing a major event. Plus in the last year I've moved from largely using Capture 1 to Lightroom Classic. A move that now seems an error. I'm a professional photographer and rely on the Adobe's softwar

I am working with the Book module on Lighroom Classic.In the Lightroom preview, the text "KYOTO" is alligned with the apex of the pole. But when I export the book either to PDF or JPEG, the text is cleared not at the same position relative to the image.In the following screenshots, I adjusted the width of the text to align with the roof width of the building. But when I export the Book again, we can see that in addition of the text being shifted relative to the picture, the width of the text is now smaller that the roof width. So it seems that either the picture is zoomed in during the export or the text is zoomed out.In the layout option, I tried both "Fill" and "Fit" for the option "Zoom Photo to:", but nothing changed. Thank you for your time.

Hello everyone, I've noticed something puzzling in Lightroom Classic. When I apply a Blacks adjustment of +70 using the Basic panel, the resulting image differs from applying the same +70 adjustment via a mask—even when the mask covers 100% of the image.From my understanding, Lightroom processes RAW files (often 14-bit) by first converting them into an internal format (likely 16-bit floating-point) and then applying global adjustments before executing any local corrections via masks. This leads me to wonder: Why do these two methods yield different results for the same Blacks adjustment? Is it because the Basic panel adjustments are applied earlier in the processing chain, while masks work on already processed data? Are there any official Adobe documents or technical resources that explain the internal bit-depth handling and processing order which might shed light on this behavior? I would appreciate insights from Adobe experts or fellow users who have encountered this discrepa

Is there a plug in for LRC that shows the focus point in an image? I had one for an older version of LRC but can't seem to find one for the later versions

Good afternoon. I have the same issue and I have discussed with other Lightroom Classic users who have all noticed the same issue. This is a 'recent' issue and switching between images takes several seconds. Masking has also become unusably slow.  I have a fairly fast PC (specs below) and editing has always been a breeze until recently. I re-checked all my Lightroom settings and everything is okay. I cannot work at this slow pace. Does anyone have any sugestions. One of the users in my group has sugested reverting to the previous version of Lightroom but I'm concerned I may negatively impact my edits etc? 

If an existing collection in Publish Services includes a video, and then I modify the video (say, with Quick Develop), Lightroom correctly moves the video to the "Modified Photos to Republish" section. When I click Publish, Lightroom goes through the motions of updating the published collection and moves the video back to the "Published Photos" section.   However, this happens so quickly that it isn't possible that the modified video actually got uploaded. Indeed, if I look at the published video at the external site, the modifications haven't been applied.   I can remove the video from the collection, click Publish, then re-add the video (from All Photographs), then click Publish again. Then the video is published with the modifications, and everything is fine.   Apparently, Lightroom is losing track of the need to regenerate and upload the changed video in this situation. Καλησπερα είχα παλιότερα λογαριασμοί στο lightroom τον οποίο τον είχα διακόψει, μετά από κάποιο χρονικό διάστημα που τον επανέφερα δεν μπορώ να βρω τις παλιότερες φωτογραφίες μου, μήπως ξέρει κάποιος να με βοηθήσει αν μπορώ να τις βρω;

I will be exporting many images from DNG to jpg files. All images have a keyword, title and description. After they are exported, the keywords, title and description are gone.In the export image it is selected; all metadata, and ticked the three choices.I use windows 10, LrC 12.3

Hi everyone,I really need help and I’m feeling pretty panicked right now.I recently moved all my files from an external 5TB drive (E:) to a new 8TB internal SSD (C:) that I installed to replace my laptop’s original 1TB drive.Then I made a huge mistake: I moved the folders containing all my Lightroom catalog files (including the .lrcat files) to the new C: drive as well. After that, everything disappeared.When I try to most recent different versions of my catalogs:The folder panel is completely emptyNo thumbnails or previewsNo “?” icons to reconnect missing filesIt’s like the catalog is totally blank — but the .lrcat files still have size, so they don’t seem totally corrupted.And now it’s worse: When I try to open the most recent catalog (which I think is a backup), Lightroom (v13.3.1 — I believe the latest) won’t open it at all. It says the catalog is corrupted and needs to be repaired. But after the repair process runs, the file still won’t open — it just fails silently. So eithe

I have not enabled auto import. When I start my lightroom classic, it will start import automatic. I close it, but it starts again, and again. I cannot find how to stop it.  Help me!

Buonasera, potreste aiutarmi gentilmente, per errore forse ho cliccato sincronizza tutte le foto e ha iniziato la sincronizzazione  di tutte le foto con una foto che stavo modificando, quindi ho provato a caricare il backup di qualche giorno fa, ma non sono riuscito. Ora provando forse sono riuscito, ho riavviato il programma ed ora sta sincronizzando tutte le foto e non vedo nessua foto. Cosa devo fare per riavere tutte le foto come qualche giorno fa ? Grazie

Recently I received an update to lightroom Classic, ver 14.2. For some reason when I start it, nothing happens. It shows up in task manager as running but it's nowhere on my desktop or task bar. All my other programs are fine including photoshop. I removed and reinstalled twice to no avail. .Any ideas. LrC Version 14.2 Camera Raw 17.2Windows 11 Home Version 24H2. Alle Bilder werden beim Import in DNG umgewandelt. Die Raw-Dateien werden gesichert."virtuelle Kopie anlegen" ist im Menü ausgegraut.

Hello,I would like to clarify which version of Lightroom Classic is actually included in the €14.74/month plan.On the website, it is advertised that Lightroom Classic is part of the plan for €14.74/month (billed annually), but when I try to start the free trial, it only offers me the cloud-based version of Lightroom.Then I found that Lightroom Classic is actually only available as part of the "Photography Plan" for €24.19/month. This feels misleading, as the advertisement clearly suggests Lightroom Classic is included in the cheaper plan.However, when I look at the detailed comparison or plan information, Lightroom Classic is once again shown as being part of the €14.74 plan. It’s all very confusing, and I would really appreciate a clear answer – which version(s) of Lightroom are actually included in the €14.74/month plan?Thank you very much in advance for your help. 

I have been using Lightroom Classic on both my MacBook Air and mainly my iMacPro.The correct Nikon Z lens has been showing correctly in the list of lenses as:Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G ED VRBut for some reason after a recent shoot the iMac only shows a tiny list of Nikon lenses, and none of them are remotely close to being mine. I have tried re-installing Camera Raw which hasn't made any difference. I have also tried looking to find the correct profile on my MacBook Air but I can't find where the mac stores them so no joy there either. Any solutions?(Other that delete all the preferences and start again which in my experience never works)Thank you in advance!

In the middle of a tethered session to Lightroom Classic, the images will no longer save to the SD card for a random period of time. They are saved in the proper session folder on the laptop with the previous shots. Then it will radomly start saving again on the card, usually after I have turned the camera on and off.I have had this problem ongoing for a couple of years, on both the Canon 5D with a CF card, and the Canon R5 with an SD card. I am not changing anything mid shoot. Also, for the images that don't save to the card, the file numbers start over at 0001, but when it starts saving to the SD card again, it picks up with the last number that was saved on the card. This is maddening.Lightroom is up to date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and it still happens.If anyone has any insight I would much apprectiate it.

Hello,   LR Classic is extremely slow. Opening takes rather half an hour. Trying to export a file takes 10 minutes ore more just to open the file selector.   May be this happend with changing the SYNC conditions? I found some LR sync files in Trash but I did'nt move them there...???   I`m working with LR Classic 14.2 Raw 17.2 MacBook Air M4 macOS 15.4   I have already tried to - optimize catalogue, - clear RAW cache   nothing helped.   Kind regards,   Wolfgang
