Hello, well after looking at countless videos with no luck I've realized that I should have stopped  by here to begin with. And get the answers from the best source available.  My question is, how do I change the "copy name" from "copy 1" to "edit 1" with corresponding numbers for the multiple version of an image?  ie... "edit 1", "edit 2", "edit 3".... so on and so forth. Thank You 

My main camera has 2 SD cards - one for RAW, the other for JPEG. On occasion, I shoot RAW + JPEG to the RAW SD card. Recently - maybe since the last update - I do not see the JPEG as available for import from the RAW CARD. I also tested shooting a single JPEG to that card slot - it also does not appear for import. In both cases the JPEG  files are on the card. I do have the option to treat as separate files checked. Strangely I do see the JPEG files for import from the other (JPEG only) card. I have the same issue on my other camera - in that case I shoot RAW + JPEG to the single slot but only the RAW files show up for import. When I shoot a single JPEG it does not appear for import.  These are cameras from different manufacturers - OM and Fijifilm.  I am using Windows 11 - latest update + Lightroom Classic 14.1.1   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

I have been adding keywords successfully. Suddenly I can't click in the text box at all. I can't add words or edit those that are already there. I have no idea how to fix this.

I've been having a lot of intermittent crashes after I denoise an HDR merged file, and I attempt to add that file to a collection or view it again in the library or in the develop module. This isn't happening during the denoise process or immediately afterward. It happens after the file is created and is available in the library. It's an intermittent problem, too, so it's hard to reproduce. It seems to happen most frequently with files that had mask layers added after the HDR merge and before the enhanced denoise feature was used.   I also noticed these enhanced files often won't sync, or if they are available on Lightroom Web, they have a vertical and horizontal white bar, making an incomplete box across the photo. When I first installed Lr Classic, it created a "Lightroom\" folder (along with associated sub-folders and files) in the "Pictures\" (windows) folder on the hard drive of my computer.  That of course is where the catalog is, and where I've been using it.  That folder and its associated sub-folders and files, has now grown to the point where it occupies almost a quarter of the hard drive.  I recently copied that folder and its contents to an external with a lot more room.  That said.  If I either move, or delete, the existing lightroom folder from "Pictures\".  Will the Lightroom program generate a new "Lightroom\" folder along with the associated sub-folders and files in the "Pictures\" folder?....Izzy

Bonjour, Depuis hier, date des mises à jours lightroom et photoshop + camera raw vers les dernières versions, je ne peux plus modifier une photo depuis lightroom vers photoshop, lightroom se fige et je suis obliger de fermer le logiciel par le gestionnaire des taches. j'ai desinstallé et reinstallé les logiciels mais le problème persiste. I need help please. Following the update, I can no longer access any of my catalogs. I tried going to the backups, checking the folders labeled with the correct catalog to no avail. I am a relatively new user and always backup my catalogs, but not to the cloud.  I guess I assumed that by hitting the backup button a copy of the catalog was backed up.   Is there anything I can do to recover this? I had just finished a 700 photo gallery

Hey. Why do Lightroom Classic move my files from the folder where I post them to a folder with a date somewhere else on the hardisk? And why are the files changed to DNG from NEF? And why can't lightroom remember my work? Its all a mess. I just found out about this.Also the jpg files do not go back the the original folder but to the folder lightroom made and changed my files to dng. Hello, I'm having an issue where LR won't export my photos. After the hitting the export button the bar is just stuck. I tried exporting with and without a user preset and re-installed LR.   Also it's not stacking images anymore. After right click edit in PS, it normally stacks the original with the tiff. The original file and the tiff are in the same folder. All the options for stacking are greyed out, in preferences stack with original is ticked. I just fixed an issue yesterday where I had to move all the photos (using LR) and copied the catalog onto the internal harddrive. Any suggestions?Thank you

I'm using the latest version of LRC (v.14.1.1). Everytime I import photos in the library, LRC has problems reading the meta data in the photos I've just imported.  The screen shot with the question mark shows the problem: the EXIF are blank.  I have to close LRC and reopen it to fix the problem (on the second screen shot, the EXIF are showing).   That bug is very anoying, it didn't happen before v.14.1.1 I'm working with a Mac AppleM2 with macOS Sequoia 15.2

Since the recent updates (Adobe Lightroom Classic 11.5 build 202208080927-8a575c91 and Adobe Photoshop 2023 23.5.1) I am no longer able to open images from Adobe Lightroom Classic in Adobe Photoshop.  When I right-click on an image in Adobe Lightroom Classic and choose Edit in > Edit in Adobe Photoshop 2023, the Adobe Photoshop window opens, but nothing else happens.  Is anyone else encountering this issue? I am running Windows 11 Home, OS build 22000.978

Lightroom Classic 13.5.1Mac book pro, M3. MacOS Sequoia 15.0.1.  In the print module, the "Page Setup" dialog doesn't show my printers anymore, only the generic option "Any Printer".  Will attach screen shot. The "Printer..."  dialog correctly shows my available printers. Will add second screen shot. Net effect is I can't set page size. It is stuck on Letter. If I use Letter sized paper, everything else, print wise, seems to work fine. As I say, the "Printer..." dialog functions as needed and prints look good. No issues printing, or selecting page size through PS. Or Safari. Didn't try anything else. Just noticed this today so unclear when it started. I have also seen this version of LR crash multiple times, I believe only when I was in the print module. Suspect it is related. Tried the usual suspects -- uninstalled/reinstalled LR. Same version, then older versions. Removed/Re-added printer (although issue is not specific to one printer

I keep my Lightroom Classic catalog on the desktop of my Macbook Pro. where it is updated on a regular basis. After several years of working like this I received a message upon opening LR which said "catalog not found" or something similar to that. When I click on "Open Catalog" and navigate to my desktop the catalog icons are grayed out and not accessible. Any ideas to help me?

Hello, Today I installed my LR6 on a new notebook (the old one is dead). After logging in into the account and entering the serial number, I get into an endless loop in which I have to repeatedly enter my Adobe account, then an email with a code and that's it. LR6 doesn't open, every time I try this I have to log into the account again (infinite loop) [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. You cannot file a bug report for an old and unsupported version of Lightroom.]

I recently moved from Lightroom to Lightroom Classic. I synced the original cloud photos to LrC, meaning they are now saved on my hard drive, and also saved on the cloud in their original format. I would like to replace the cloud-based originals with smart previews to save cloud storage space while keeping my original edits/star ratings/etc.

Hi I'm unable to save anything because I have no hard drive space (and I wasn't able to change the save location in LR/PS). I had thought the default save location was on my pc but everything has been saved to one drive/pictures. So I bought an external hard drive and was planning to move all my files there to make space. From my understanding I need to move my catalog (and photos?) so I have space on my internal harddrive. So far I've copied every file in the lightroom folder except for one of the previews.lrdata as I get the below message.  So that plan didn't work, is there another option like exporting the entire catalog? When I click export catalog, the diaglogue shows e.g. exporting 37 images when there are hundreds of photos, so I'm not sure if it's correct. I'm a bit scared to touch anything at the moment because now LR looks like the below, all the previews are gone and only appears when I click to develop a photo. When I click on the spot removal tool it turns it into black and whiteusing mac and LRC 13.3

It appears as if LrC has stopped syncing.  From these two screenshots you can see a few issues: 1) On LR Web, I have 4845 photos in the Cloud2) On LrC, it shows only 4755 photos Synced (I checked; the missing 90 photos are the most recent photos3) Also on LrC, it says that it is actively syncing 4759 photos.  It has said that for the past two days, no change. - I tried resetting by going to Preferences > Lightroom Sync > Rebuild Sync Data but that did not do anything. It seems to be 'stuck'.  Any suggestions? Kick the side of the Coke Machine?   

A5 will not display in the print setup window.  When you go into preferences it will show A5 but then when you click on OK it doesn't appear in the Print Setup menu 

When using Standard "Import" I can choose to copy the imported files to another drive with "Make a Second Copy to:"  to make an instant backup of files. But I can't find how to turn this on for the "Auto Import" feature (File, Auto Import). This seems crazy, where am I missing where to turn on this feature for "Auto Import"?Why would images transferred with FTP be any less valuable than those imported using the Import button? This also appears true for Tethered Capture. ThanksMarv 

I have a question about LIGHTROOM, it seems that I have a serious problem with the program.4 days ago Lightroom updated itself to the latest version (14.01).Since then, Lightroom cannot see my previously loaded and edited images. Also, strangely, he sees it randomly. There is a folder (which is more than half a year old) and lightroom can see them all.But the images uploaded within 3 months are only partially or rather not at all. Even when opening the library, the picture is quite strange. For some, lightroom can see the name of the folder, but it says that there are 0 images. There are some where Lightr. can see the name and writes the number of pictures, and pictures are displayed in Lightroom, but for example only 36 of the 864 uploaded pictures from my trip are displayed. However, I edited and saved over 200 pictures of them, they should still be there.What could be wrong? Because this is really not good.. I did a photography job 2 weeks ago and fortunately I finished it, but now
