Hi!I recently have been noticing that many of my photos have their adjustments turned off. Anything that is outside of the Basic dropdown is off, and crop is removed. I found someone else with this same problem but they didnt have a solution besides restoring a catalog backup. I've done a lot of photo work since my last backup, so I'd like not to do that. When I go into history I see that affected photos have a "multiple settings" item on top, and that if I go to the item below, it brings back all the original edits.The person I linked said this happened after trying out ON1 Raw, a Lightroom alternative, and that is something I tried out (for like 5 seconds) last week. I can post screenshots, but that's pretty much all there is to it I can think of. Any ideas on how to fix? Really don't want to have to restore old catalog, unless I can easily copy new edits between new and old to bring it up to date. Thanks!

I´m testing with excelent performance Premier and Photoshop, but can´t even download Lightroom Classic. I´d like to know When could We expect to have it available and if L.C. Will utilize the NPU for some tasks as I.A. Noise reduction. Best regards.

For years i have been doing batch HDR using the keyboard shortcut and typing X to reject the original photos and then stuck only with the HDRs. I had if not the last but was an updated LR version. I formated my Mac and did a brand new install of everything altough using my 2024 catalog. So i don't know if this is a new error or what. But now when I type X to reject the photos as soon it creates the HDR it is created rejected. I really don't know what's going on. And sometimes it doesn't happen and the HDR photo is not reject automatically but most of the time it's created rejected and for the years I have been doing this daily this never happened. If someone know what's going on or if is something new to LR please change it back. Mac Os Ventura 13.6.5LR Classic 13.2

I did something really dumb! I was adjusting a single photo, with 3 distinct steps, in the Develop module, but I accidentally auto-synched to 10,521 other photos (my 5 star collection). One by one, I can open the history pane and click "clear history above this step" but how do I do that for the other 10,520 photos in bulk?If it is any help, I had exported each and every one of the photos before I took these steps. So, alternatively, is there are way of reverting the catalog to its condition at the time of the export?Sadly, I did not back up the catalog prior to or subsequent to the export. I am having issues with Lightroom Classic. I have had to re-import my presets 4 separate times yesterday and I can no longer access my presets. I tried to re-import them but it is telling me the presets have already been imported, so I am not sure what is happening. I tried calling the customer service number and I have been transferred 4 times already and everyone keeps telling me my account does not have any active subscriptions. I have a student account so I am not sure how different it may be from a personal account. I have both the latest version of Lightroom Classic and the latest update on my MacBook.

When I export images out of lightroom I get often these blocks with purple stripes on my jpeg export. How can I avoid this? What is the solution? Thanks!

Four or five times recently, LR has frozen on me and then started a uncontrollable frenzy (it scrolls backwards through images that I have just edited (see first video) and then if I switch to Library mode or to another app, it jumps quickly through menus - see second video). There is no way of stopping it except using Force Quit (via key strokes, not the menu) but if I open up again, it does the same thing immediately. It only recovers if I re-boot the computer. FYI I am using Loupedeck, the latest version of LR and Ventura 13.6.7. Any ideas what is causing this?

Hi hope someone can help me; When I view my photos from my SD card, they are all clear and sharp, but when I open a photo in Lightroom to give it a watermark, it saves the photo with less quality, the entire background then contains a kind of waves / army-like prints . Maybe my settings are not right when I save them but I can't figure it out, thanks in advance!! kind regards ( look at my background )

There seems to be a significant bug syncing photos with AI masks between Lr desktop and LrC classic. The bug makes syncing photos with AI masks between Lr desktop and LrC classic unworkably unreliable. Around 90% of AI masks created in Lr desktop and around 30% of AI masks created in LrC classic results in those photos being blocked from editing in Lr desktop / Lr mobile / Lr web - as soon as I sync LrC classic If I do sync photos with AI masks from Lr desktop to LrC classic, almost all those photos then become “blocked” in Lr desktop (and in Lr mobile and in Lr web) and I am then unable to do any further editing in Lr desktop, unless I first “reset” (and loose) all my previous settings (edits). This undermines the logic of the Lightroom ecosystem, because I cannot use AI masks if I want to sync those photos to LrC.   I travel 300 days per year and upload and edit most of my 20,000 photos a year using Lr desktop on my MacBook. When I get home, I then sync my MacStudio desktop

I am thoroughly frustrated and need some help. I have a MacBook M1, a Sandisk 1TB external SSD and I use Adobe Lightroom Classic. I named my SSD - SANDISK SSD 1TB #1.  After I updated my MacBook to Monterey about a year ago and also updated Lightroom Classic to 12.4 I have this issue. So I open up my laptop so Backblaze can backup everything and Backblaze says it can’t find my SSD. When I right click on the SSD icon and select Get Info, the name and extension says, Sansdisk SSD 1 TB #11. It for some reason has added a 1 to the original name. Instead of #1 it says #11.  To correct this, I leave my SSD connected and restart my Mac, log back in and then the name corrects itself back to my original name of SANDISK SSD 1 TB #1 and everything works fine until the laptop goes to sleep then it reverts back to SANDISK SSD 1 TB #11. Even when I have not edited in a week or so and I connect my SSD and go to open Lightroom Classic, it does the same thing and Ligh

Although I have created a project before I deleted it and attempted to recreate, but it keeps failing at the 'Save Configured API. 

I have been trying to retain the geolocation metadata when importing JPEGs from iPhone to Lightroom Classic - but to no avail!  I have tried several methods, including a direct import using a USB cable and transferring files to the PC (Windows Explorer still shows the geolocation. but it fails to transfer to Lightroom)

I have included a screenshot, this is an unedited image that was downloaded last week. Everything worked normally until I clicked to enable the generative remove tool on another file. I have restarted my computer and LR. Everytime I use LR now it rebuilds all working preview images like this. It is now impossible to complete my tasks for the day.

The latest version of LRC prevents my scrren saver and display sleep to be invoked when LRC is open. If I quit LRC, the screen saver and display sleep work like they are supposed to.

On holiday I took several thousand images saved on SD cards. For some I inadvertently used the RAW+JPG setting. I want to avoid loading the JPG images to Lr Classic

Are there any issues with Lightroom disabling an external hard drive so that Apple can no longer read it?  If so, is there a fix? I have a 6 mo old Sandisk 1TB Extreme Portable SSD. I use LR Classic on an 2 yr old Macbook Air M2 chip on Sonoma 14.5. A few days ago all was fine - I had used maybe 20% of the capacity. Now when I attach the SSD, Apple tells me it's not readable. When I initialize it, the device name has changed back to the default SanDisk name, and the drive's 1T capacity is completely full but I can't see any folders or files. First Aid didn't pick up anything unusual. I've tried different plugs and ports, shut down/restarted the laptop, and nothing has helped.  Not sure if the problem is Adobe, SanDisk or Apple in nature. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Hi everyone, my Lightroom Classic is opening up all my NEF files ,in the develop module, with +0,33 exposure, -21 lights and +10 shadows. Allways shows these same values that I have to put to zero when I start to develop any photo. I've tried to change preferences values but it´s imposile, always my LRC starts the develop module with these 3 deafult values instead of zero. Anyone who notices same problem? Thanks Arturo

Anyone else experiencing "lock-ups" in LRC when using masks after installing v 13.3?   Ever since installing everytime I try to use making the system locks up and I have to do a force quit.  Using a Macbook Air M1.   

I understand what's in the referenced post.  What I would like to do is as follows.  Can you tell me how to do it.1. I'd like to safely delete all content (Photos) from the LR (Cloud) account.  Can I delete the 1,000 photos that i can see in the LR (Cloud) account without them being automatically deleted from LR (Classic) ?2. I'd like to stop LR (Classic) , my iPhione or anything else syncing my photos automatically to the LR (Cloud) account without me specifically requesting it for say a small batch of photos.3. Subsequently, I'd like to be able to sync a batch of photos (eg my latest photos) to LR (Cloud) so i can see them and edit them on ipad for example.How do I do all that please? 

Since the update to LRC 13.3, I am facing various performance issues (slow response time in Library as well as in Develop modules) and I believe that I have discovered steps which might lead to this issue:Whenever I add a large photo (big DNG file rcreated by AI Denoise or a Photoshop document) to a synced collection, it is seemingly synchronized with the cloud very fast and also the cloud icon in the upper right corner of the Lightroom UI suggests that everything is synced. I would expect normal performance as nothing suggests any activity.However, when I look at the system activity monitor I can see that Lightroom keeps using a lot of CPU for several minutes and its responsivenes steeply decreeses even for basic actions (e.g. changing the star rating, collapsing stack or similar). The issue disappears after couple of minutes and everything is back to normal until I add another photo to a synced collection. My assumption is that this might be caused by some heavy processing on backgro
